After the whole mess in with the bottles and the graveyard, Aventurine wasn't exactly...keen on going out and doing the duties that were expected of him. But, he knew that in order to prove that he was, in fact, the best, and therefore superior, in comparison to the rest of the people on the so-called team that General Zircon ran.
Frankly, he thought that the tried and true task of energy draining was boring and therefore almost beneath him, but there was a quota that had been imposed upon him so he intended to fulfill it early so that he could ******** off and do as he pleased for the rest of the week.
Which had brought him to a party in one of the richer neighborhoods, a house party by one of his old frat brothers in his parent's excessively large mansion with all the works.
He could schmooze a little if he wanted, or he could simply skim energy off the top of drunks as he pleased. It was easy, because he didn't feel like exerting his skills even as he trudged up the sidewalk towards said popping party.
ghouliboo idk what this is i'm still finding his voice

When she turned the corner, the culprit was standing right in front of her.
Okay, so he was really walking in front of her but she could tell it was him from the way he wore a funny getup and looked out of place against the normal, casual, everyday-ness of the surroundings around him.
It was a Negaverse agent!
"You there!!! Stop, in the name of..."
Well shoot - she wasn't the law, per se, so she probably shouldn't be going around and announcing it as if she were. "... Castalia! Stop, I say!!!"
Dashing a few yards forward to close in some of the distance between them, she then quickly spread out her legs and rested her hands on her hips, akin to some of the old Wonder Woman poses she'd seen on the old TV series her mother used to watch. It made her feel powerful and goodness knows she needed to feel powerful in that very moment.
"I'm not going to let you get away with whatever it is you're doing!"

Oh, he thought he was a smarty-pants, did he?
The comeback was haughty and caused her shoulders to straighten up. No, walking wasn't a crime... but he surely was up to more trouble than just walking, otherwise he wouldn't have bothered dressing up in that nefarious looking getup, right?
He offered her a smile shortly afterwards and the perfect looking expression was both charming and devious. Enough so that a flutter of butterflies overtook her stomach and before she could give herself time for a second thought, hands flew up and she called out her magic:
"Conscience Conflict!"
But... But what was she wanting him to do, exactly?
Quickly, she added, "Tell me the truth!!"
Of course she could stop him... right? That's why she was the super hero and he was the baddie........right??
Nuxaz Sailor Scout Attack: Conscience ConflictCastalia presses her hands against her chest and then pushes outward, sending a beam of light towards her target. Should the beam hit the opponent, they shall endure 20 seconds of hearing a voice inside their minds, prompting and insisting them to cooperate and listen to Castalia. They are not forced to do anything they do not wish to but the longer the spell continues, the louder and more overwhelming the voice becomes in their head. Should they listen or cooperate with Castalia, the voice goes quiet until the spell ends. 3 uses per battle.

His patience was growing increasingly thin as he headed back towards her, long legs carrying him forward in short strides before he was all but looming over her. There were voices still nagging at him, to his irritation, but they were quieter now.
No matter what she insisted, he wasn't lying. Technically.
"Mischief? Do you think I'm a child?" He scoffed, rolling his eyes at her when he stopped just a few feet away. "Please, if I wanted to be causing trouble, it would have happened already." He leaned forward, pressing his index finger beneath her chin.
"Why don't you run along, sweetheart."
