Agreed, not having a 10m bid increment felt like an oversight. We will update the marketplace this week with this change.

I just wanted to extend another Happy Black History Month to all of Gaia and the amazing African American users who are here today! I can say that I personally have been going out of my way to read amazing accounts of African American people throughout History who have saved lives and those who have excelled during times of oppression. This is a time for celebration of life and overcoming adversity.
I wanted to take this opportunity during Ask the Staff to really explain why I think a recolor or two of Strength of the Pride and/or Watchful K’onjo would be good for the overall morale of the site.
I feel like it is highly beneficial for Gaia to be inclusive of more cultures in this divisive time that we live in, I understand that financially it is easier to play it safe but during this Black History Month I am a paying customer who is crying out for representation that I am willing to pay for.
I understand that the two items I hoping to see be recolored are not the usual items that Gaia recolors. In fact Watchful K’onjo has never been recolored and Strength of the Pride only received a few (which I personally am not a fan of since two have Ombre on the hair and I simply did not like how that look translated onto Strength) so I wanted to personally give a suggestion pool of color schemes that would work with these lovely items!
Starting with Strength of the Pride suggestions
Suggestions for Watchful K’onjo
There is a lot of other colors featured in Black Panther that would be perfect for either of these items. I know that people really liked how the original Strength of the Pride was not in an existing color scheme and it would be awesome to see a creative recolor for it to come out like that again. The Wakanda armor colors would be a GREAT addition to either item I think.
Sorry for this post being so big but I am very passionate about these items receiving more attention because there is only so much existing African representation to use.

OK so Ban Evasion is when you either are about to/have just violated Gaia's Terms of service by say, posting porn.
You *KNOW* your account would be banned for doing it, but you don't wanna lose all the stuff you worked so hard for. So you transfer all that stuff over to a different account just to be safe.
However, all offenses apply to a person not just an account in this case. You can't just use a mule account to violate the rules without it affecting all your accounts if you are using the other accounts to avoid the consequences of your actions.
Thus you would end up with not only the account that did the violation, but also any other account that you sent your stuff to being banned.

You do, you see it in every listed violation in the ToS. You broke the rules, then tried to evade punishment by using a different account thereby involving that account in the violation. It's the same as if you used that second account to do it essentially.

The servers are currently on rotation. They should be rebooted on every rotation, but if there's any problem with the rotation script it might explain why things are laggy. I'll check on it right after ATS.

Ever since the great server migration, the rigs have been messed up! Instead of having the continue/give-up options side by side, they're now stacked or slightly askewed to the left side. Because of this, I've more often than once hit to give-up/forfeit instead of continuing on in a rig. Could this be looked into/fixed? I would must appreciate it!

Are we trying to bring in a new wave of kids with mobile? In all honesty, how new user friendly will this new mobile app be, and will it be enough to sustain Gaia? my fear is that we are still willingly able to spend money on this site and that there may be a chance that it will shut down this year.
It's true that Gaia had to downsize earlier this year, though the support from many of you had kept us in the black right now and we should be in better shape once we finished paying off the outstanding bills and paychecks. Recovery takes a bit of time, but everyone at Gaia are still dedicated to making new features, events and items.

Features such as Towns will be ported to HTML5, while features such as zOMG is too big to be ported, there should be legacy support with some browsers outside of Chrome/firefox. I'm looking into making zOMG it's own Adobe Air app if possible. Other games will need to be ported over to HTML 5 slowly. It'll be a long process.

We used to have that feature, but we got many reports of naughty Gaians making inappropriate names and we ended up removing the feature. We will work with the mod team to see what we can do to give more customization to new rooms moving forward.

Hi, are there any plans for updates to the Wishlist? Such as buttons to alphabetize the list, filter Owned items to the bottom, list by price, etc.?
Also mine has been glitchy for a while, at least since Dec., not all items are being marked as Owned, and some that were are no longer marked.

- keeping all of the name flairs available, no exclusives of limited time then gone forever
- theyre $2.50 direct payment when released and after their initial launch month, go up to $5.00 and buyable with gcash
- i mean you could keep the $2.50 price tag [because lanzer said he wasnt sure if people would appreciate the price hike] but it sort of promotes people to buy them during their initial month, encouraging people to buy when it releases for the cheaper price, rather than just whenever they want if it stays the same price. thats why the price hike is important, but it also lets it still be available, and gaia earns just that little bit extra
- they can go into one of the lesser-used gcash shops?? no need to create a new shop. maybe put them into loyal's bizarre once theyre available for gcash after their initial release on the pledge page? i think thats a great "loyalty" thing to put in! =D

We just got newer designs, though we still haven't finalized on the details on payment options yet. Sorry things are hectic as we try to wrap up Valentine's Day event and the mobile app.

Right now communicating to a friend feels like I'm talking to them via snail mail and really lose engagement in the conversation unless we head to Towns/Rally.

Currently that's not available for moderation reasons (such as people trying to avoid a thread being reported). You can ask a moderator to help delete a thread if you wish.
