Hobbies:
Cooking -- Since he tends to stay at home a lot, he's picked up not only the knack for cooking but the enjoyment of it as well. What started with basic recipes from beginner cookbooks has slowly turned into more skilled dishes from more complicated recipe books as time goes on. His favorite meals are ones that require a mixture of items, veggies with a roast, dessert with berries, anything that can add a little more color or creativity to dishes when he's arranging everything on plates or in dinnerware. As a result of his passion, he finds himself drawn to cooking shows and channels - one can never stop learning new tips and tricks in the kitchen, as far as he's concerned.
Housekeeping -- While housekeeping may be a chore for some, Riley finds enjoyment out of simple tasks around the house. It's therapeutic in its own way - dusting, sweeping and vacuuming are just a few things he's known to do when he's stressed out or anxious. They're simple tasks that require little to no concentration, distracting him from worries and leaving behind a clean, soothing safe space when he's finished.
Sketching -- Doodling in his former years has developed into simple sketches during his adulthood. He's not interested in pursuing it in any sense other than personal enjoyment and prefers not to bring attention to the habit. He'd secretly enjoy dabbling in painting or something that would add more color to the basic pencil sketches he does in his notebook of various things or people in his home/neighborhood but it is not a priority.
Virtues:
Loyal -- Dependable to a fault, Riley will stand by your side from the moment he's decided you're worth standing beside. Even if you do something to wrong him, he's easy to forgive because for him to consider you a friend means earning his unconditional love and loyalty (y'know, on top of the fact he's too worried about losing you to really think about whether or not you're doing wrong by him). He'll be with you until the end... or at least, until you sever all ties. But please don't do that, he doesn't have a lot of friends as it is sad
Caring -- The sort of person to offer the shirt from his back if someone else were to need it, Ry is a very caring individual. Almost a bleeding heart, he's ready to express concern or kindness to all individuals, humans and animals alike. He has a special weakness when it comes to furry friends, however, as the poor things don't have a voice to defend themselves with so it's not uncommon to see Riley offering parts of his lunch or food from his bag if he's out and about and finds a hungry animal nearby.
Meticulous - Thanks to his tendency to clean when he's anxious or upset, Riley is incredibly meticulous. He works hard to make sure everything is spruced up and looking nice and because of this dedication he's well-mannered and has formed healthy habits that have followed him through the years. Maintaining proper upkeep aids in both calming the anxious spirit and making good impressions on other people. Clutter and mess wears one down emotionally and add unnecessary stress, after all. Organization and ensuring everything is clean and in its proper home is a must in his life.
Flaws:
Fragile -- He is a very, very fragile individual both physically and emotionally. Having endured a serious sickness in his youth, Riley never quite fully recovered from the ailment that struck him as a child. His immune system is very susceptible, making him feel vulnerable twenty-four seven, even if he's truly not. While a physical ailment is not a personality flaw, having this issue has opened the door for him to be emotionally fragile as a result. He's concerned of being singled out as different or odd, he'd much rather blend in with a crowd than stand out on his own. He was never able to have a proper childhood and therefore failed to make friends or socialize in a standard - or "normal" sense. Fearing social rejection among the germs and other dangers of the outside world, he is arguably a very fragile person and will figuratively wilt if corrected or chided. He doesn't want to be different, he doesn't want to upset anyone, so his fears and insecurities keep him more introverted and reclusive than anything else, denying him the chance to strike up new friendships or discover positive things out in the world.
Anxious -- Living in what feels like a constant state of anxiety, his base on the scale of easy to uneasy is a permanent 3 or 4. Even when things are going well, there's always a voice in the back of his head convincing him that things are bound to mess up, that something is inevitably going to go wrong, that peaceful or happy times aren't sustainable. This results in friends or loved ones potentially getting frustrated with him if they lack the patience it takes to deal with his panic attacks or reclusive spells. Because of his crippling anxiety, he has been unable to hold down a steady job or attend classes.
Clingy -- Riley is a very, very clingy person. Convinced that people don't have the patience to deal with him, the few that manage to contend with his needy nature are forced to deal with it tenfold at times - he's so afraid of you leaving that he'll practically smother you in the process. This also results in frustrating moments for everyone, himself included, but despite that he just can't let go of that ominous feeling that something is going to go wrong and he'll be left alone if he doesn't keep clinging on.

When wrapped around an injury, Ani's scarf helps speed up the healing process of an injury for up to 30 seconds, the fabric glowing like gentle starlight while magic is being channeled through it. This does not heal the wound completely but if left on for the complete duration, can heal up to 20% of the damage (i.e. cannot heal broken bones but can speed up the growth process of setting them back into place). If the scarf falls off early or Ani lets go, the magic immediately ceases. Only works on one person at a time.
Knight Weapon: The scarf has now grown in length and looks more elaborate and beautiful.
