There were plenty of explanations for how Hadaya ended up hanging upside down by his left back foot from the window sill of a bakery, but none of them painted him in a very good light. Ultimately, every ending came out to the fact that he made a stupid decision to investigate something he had no business snooping in.
Just because his tummy was rumbling.
The real facts were simple. A bakery had its back window open and he smelled some recently baked goods cooling inside. He leaped up to the window sill of the mom and pop shop, a massive feat in itself considering his paws were half the length of other cats, to find the source of the delicious smells that were capturing his full attention.
He had never been a very good climber, due to his short limbs and round belly. And lack of will to climb most things. He did his best, thinking he had at least gotten jumping down after heroically leaping to power up a senshi not too long ago, but alas, he was incorrect in his assumption that he could now defeat gravity. His nemesis won again, and got the last laugh as he not only missed the window sill cleanly, but in his panic managed to lash his foot out and get it hooked on a decorative drape hanging around the window.
It felt like he had been hanging there for hours, and he was doomed to die soon no matter how loudly and pathetically he cried. In reality, he was probably there for about five minutes so far, and the drape would eventually give way before any real damage was done to him.
Still, to him, it felt like a torturous death warrant.
"SOMEONE HEEEEEELP" he meowed woefully, wiggling his free foot but unable to find anything to grip his claws into. He couldn't look up very well, either, as his body proportions did not much allow for seeing his feet at this angle.

"I don't have any idea how you managed to get yourself caught up like that, but I'll be honest," a snide voice remarked from below. "I'm dying to know." A laugh floated up after that. The owner of the voice was a petite chaos guardian with snowy fur and a roundish face. She stared up at him with bright green-blue eyes that looked coal lined. The star in the center of her forehead was pitch black, and there was a set of goggles that sat crookedly on her head, strap anchored by pierced ears. "Do you need some help?" Normally she probably wouldn't have offered, but normally the order cats she ran into didn't seem this comically clumsy. Seriously, how the ******** chuckling, Reven jumped up on the first floor window sill before climbing her way up to an awning that stretched out beneath the window the tawny colored cat dangled from.

Hadaya wiggled, trying to wrench his not-so-lithe body around to spot the source of the voice. He did not immediately mind that the tone was mocking, as he was too preoccupied with the fact that he was definitely going to die here if he did not get down soon. Even someone that was teasing him would help him, right?
Oh.
He spotted her, as she bounced up lightly to help him down. He was pretty sure she was some sort of angel, and not even the fact that she was a Chaos cat would really change his mind at this point. She was, after all, there in his time of need, and said the magic words.
"Yes, yes I do need help! Thank you! Please get me down, I'm getting dizzy. And hungry. And dizzier."
He whined and kicked his foot, which, perhaps even more comically than just getting stuck there to begin with, freed him immediately. Had he not tried that before? Not having much time to think about it, he plummeted face first to the ground below. Though it was not the longest drop, it really did not feel great to end it with his nose meeting the pavement first.
The rest of his body caught up and he blobbed down to his stomach, huffing mightily.

Well, she'd had every intention of actually helping him, but it seemed like the instant she got close enough to reach him whatever had been holding him there gave way and down he went. Eyes widening, the pale kitten watched him drop like a sack of potatoes, wincing as she saw his face connect with the pavement. "That's...gotta hurt." Her ears saddled in sympathy she padded closer to the edge so she could stair down at him, tail flicking. "Hey, you still alive down there?" It'd been quite the fall, and there'd been nothing catlike or graceful about the landing. If he had died, did that mean she got to claim it as a personal victory? True, she hadn't touched him, but she was there, and there was no one else around to call her on it.

"I'm good!" Hadaya said, into the pavement.
He flopped down onto his belly, then rolled over to his back and looked up at her. His face was scruffed up and dirty, but did not look to be too bad off, though the tears in his little kitty eyes indicated that he was doing his best to keep a long, mournful wail at bay.
There was a lady present, after all.
"Thank you for your help!" He called, purrs bursting from his round, currently floppy and upside down body. He did not really know she was completely unrelated to his being freed, thinking she must have done something that allowed him to kick himself out after all this torturous time being trapped there. So she deserved to be thanked.
Taking a deep breath, he rolled over again, getting his stubby legs under him and looking up at her. No, he decided he was not going to try to climb all the way back up there.
"My name is Hadaya! It's nice to meet you! You're very talented, the way you jump! I wish I could do that!"

Oh, not dead. Reven wasn't sure if she was disappointed by that or relieved, and settled somewhere in the middle at annoyed before rolling back up to her feet and making her way back down again, just as gracefully as she'd gone up. From what she'd witnessed thus far in their very brief encounter than he really had no business climbing at all, and she wasn't keen on seeing a repeat performance. No matter how entertaining that may be. "Dude, you're a cat, too. Why can't you?" As she landed on the ground beside him she took a few quick licks at her shoulder to smooth pale fur, then took a seat, tail curling back around her toes. "I'll take the compliment, though. I am pretty awesome." It came with a grin, pleased and self important. "I'm Reven."

Hadaya bounced over to her, as if trying to jump to see if he could, in fact, do it, but not doing much more that skipping over the pavement and stopping next to her. He butted his head against her affectionately, purring brightly and appreciatively. He still gave her all the credit for the rescue, so he still owed her a lot of thank yous. "My legs are not built for jumping very high, I guess. That's what I think, anyway. Chaonis says it's because I'm 'all butt'." He tilted his head to the side and thought about that for a moment, knowing it was not meant as anything but teasing but finding it was probably a little true. He did have a... round... body. "I'm Hadaya. It's really nice to meet you, Reven! I wish we had gotten that good smelling food to share, but some things aren't worth it." His everything was still hurting from the ordeal. He sat down heavily, not too shy around other Guardians, no matter what side they were on. Navi would probably have to talk to him about that.

She was watching him with a look on her face that bordered somewhere between annoyance and curiosity, not at all sure how to handle yet another order cat that wanted nothing more than the be her friend. It was not only disconcerting, but quite contrary to everything she'd heard about order and it had her ears laying flat as the stumpy-legged cat butted his head against her. Leaning back from the bump she stared back at him, brows creased and eyes narrowed suspiciously as if wondering if maybe he was trying to lure her into a false sense of security but after a moment of rambling she really doubted he had something that cunning in him. He seemed...genuine. It was weird. "Who's Chaonis?" If nothing else, maybe sge could pump him for information. He seemed perfectly willing to share with her, so why not take advantage of that? At the mention of food the pale kitten looked up at the window he'd just been hanging in front of. "If you're hungry, I can get up there..." It wasn't just for hi, Reven was a bit hungry herself and a snack sounded like a good idea.

Hadaya tilted his head, looking a little worried. He probably should not be talking about his senshi and her friends to Chaos cats, but he was also a big mouth and a fat head, so what did he know of caution? He had a habit of putting his paws in his mouth, so to speak. He was more interested in finding friends with thumbs that could make him food until he was able to do it himself.
That was the story he heard, anyway. That they could have human forms. What would he do with thumbs? He could hardly imagine, but he could only hope he was as good at cooking as his brain needed him to be.
"Chaonis is my senshi's fiance. They're both very strong Eternal senshi, though MY senshi is the best one, and very nice and kind. She doesn't call me all butt, anyway." Not to his adorable, fluffy face, anyway. He chuckled, digging his paws into the ground and releasing in a little sitting dance. He would have swished his tail around happily if he had one, but unfortunately he was actually just butt.
His eyes lit up when she offered to jump back up and get the food that had been tempting him before, which he almost died for. In his mind, anyway.
"Oh, would you? That would be amazing! We could share, and if it's as good as it smells I bet it'll be the best meal today!"

He was just a fountain of information and Reven smiled as the other kitten not only spilled the beans but dropped the pan they'd been cooked in. Truthfully it might not have been all that much but it was certainly more than she'd known a moment ago. There was a chance it'd never come up, but if she ever found herself face to face with this cat's bonded, then she'd have the advantage of knowledge and that could make all the difference. But she didn't let on any of that. Only smiled back sweetly as she listened. "She's right, you aren't all butt. Just...short." It was said with a chuckle, bright eyes flicking down to his legs before back up again. "And yeah, totally. I can climb back up there no problem." There was pride in her voice as she said it, and Reven rolled back up to her feet to head over to the dumpster she'd used the last time, leaping up to it easily and then using that height to pick her way up to the window he'd gotten himself stuck at. "Anything in particular in there you want?"
