Another disconcertingly warm night, Chambersite considered himself lucky that he was able to get a couple of nice draining days in a row, though he had been interrupted during the first one. So he hoped that this night would be better. He had been walking around the streets, boots clicking loudly on the pavement but he didn't mind. His uniform didn't make him stand out and so he was allowed to walk within whatever crowd there may be. And if some, order person found him well, they would have a lot harder time blending in now wouldn't they.

He had taken a moment to rest against one of the brick buildings, when a man came by, clearly reeking of alcohol and swaying side to side, tried to pass Chambersite. But before he could, the agent grabbed the man's shoulder, draining just a bit of energy to make him more compliant, before leading him into the alleyway that was next to the building and set the man down. The man was already unconscious at this point, which made energy draining much easier for Chambersite, though he had to make sure that he didn't take too much. Didn't want to leave a body after all.

Sinistra was trying not to worry about too much today. Instead of stressing about going to her home planet, mostly because she was talking herself into it, she decided to focus on her patrols and her work as a senshi. Her planet would be there for when she was ready, and she understood the whole concept of travelling there a lot better now that she had managed to talk to a few people.

Little steps.

She felt the aura of a Negaverse soldier not too far from where she was walking, hesitating for a moment. It did not feel like it was the same strength as her, meaning it was probably a Lieutenant. Could they dampen their power levels? She had never really considered it before, though now it was suddenly difficult to focus on anything else.

Hopefully she wasn't walking into a trap...

Trotting toward the alley, she spotted the Nega as he dragged the limp body.

"Hey! Leave that man alone!" She yelped, sounding a little more scared than threatening. She was just worried that the man was already dead...

Chambersite pulled away from the man and gave the senshi a look. First he noticed her outfit, which looked completely ridiculous. Second she was really interrupting him? And here he thought he would finally be able to collect some energy in peace. He let go of the man, having already gotten enough energy for the night, before tucking it away.

He stood up and turned in the direction of the senshi and gave her a shrug. "What's it to you? I'm just draining a little energy. There's no harm in that." Well, there was, but he didn't care. And he didn't care if she cared. There was no caring for him.

"What are you going to do about it if I don't leave him alone?" He asked, wondering what type of powers she had. She looked a bit like a witch, but she didn't look like she was any good at magic. Funny that.

Sinistra frowned at him, doing her best impersonation of someone who knew what she was doing, and mostly almost succeeding. She was a Super, after all, and that meant she must be doing something right... at least, the cat that helped her power up seemed to think so. Though, she had also seen said cat get stuck in a garbage can upside down because he was trying to eat a wrapper.

So.

"There is harm in that! After all, even if you leave your victims capable of getting up after, you still are going to use that energy for something evil! Chaos is never innocent when it comes to your patrols!"

She, at least, paid attention when she heard other senshi and knights talking about their reasons for working. For fighting. Camelot told her that she needed to find her own path, and her own beliefs, but for now she was just trying to figure it all out. Just making sure people weren't hurt or killed was enough.

"I.. I'm going to make you clean up your act! I'm Sailor Sinistra, Senshi of Brooms! And I'm going to stop you!"

She pointed at him seriously, posing a bit and waiting for her next action cue. The moment stretched on a little too long, and she pulled her hand back, frowning uncomfortably and glancing around.

"So uhm. If you could just go home for tonight, that would be your... best option."

Chambersite agreed in his head that the energy wasn't going to be used for anything good, but he certainly wasn't going to agree with her out loud. He stared at her for a moment when she said she was going to clean up his act and she was the senshi of brooms. It only took a moment for him to make a face and chuckle at what she had done. "Senshi of brooms? Really? Doesn't sound all that powerful to me." Even if he said it out loud, it was more to keep her nervous. She didn't seem like she knew what she was doing, or at least she was nervous about it.

But she was a Super Senshi, which meant that he had to keep himself on his toes and on high alert. She was a level higher than he was, therefor more powerful at a base level. And since he didn't know what she was capable of once she got over her nervousness, he couldn't let his guard down.

"Right. So first of all, no. Second, catch!" He said, summoning the toy turnip that he called a 'weapon' and throwing it at her as a bit of a distraction. After he threw it, he tried to get around behind her, or at least to the side of her, so that he could try to get a hit in. He knew it was a long-shot though as she was more likely faster than he.

Sinistra tried not to let out the breath she was holding in an effort to look brave and puffed up when he pointed out that her sphere was not exactly scary. No, she supposed brooms was not that intimidating, unless she was facing a dust bunny. While she did not doubt she would run across one in the form of a youma sooner or later, even then she was skeptical her powers would prove useful.

All she could really do was summon a magical broom and... sweep a gust of wind at people. Good for knocking someone over and running away, but other than that...

She was not the type to hit someone when they were down, after all, so that was out.

Wait, catch?

She let out a yelp as something came hurtling at her, and she did her best to catch it. It was certainly distracting, though she was not really sure what she was looking at once she did manage to block it. How could he tease her sphere when he was throwing vegetables at people?

His hit landed on the side of her face, causing her to stumble and drop the turnip. Oh, Merlinite was going to tease her if that bruised. She tried to catch herself and retaliate, jerking her body around and balancing on one leg to lash out and kick with the other.

The Super Senshi fell right for his distraction, so it felt extra good when he correctly followed up with his hit to her face. He didn't really care if he hit a woman. If they bothered him, well, they needed to be ready for it. If the Super Senshi didn't want to fight, then she shouldn't have bothered him in the first place!

While the hit landed and the senshi went down, he dismissed the turnip, ready to summon it again whenever he needed it. While he was doing that though, he didn't notice that she had gone to kick him and he felt an incredible pain in his knee. "S***." He yelped, before feeling himself stumble a bit, unable to hold himself up now that the joint used to lock his leg in place had been kicked a bit backwards.

He knelt down, unable to use his left leg anymore. "You are going to pay for that." He growled at her, summoning the turnip again, and this time just throwing it at her to see if he could actually hit her with it without warning. Hopefully in a few moments his knee would be better again, or else he was in a world of trouble.

Sinistra was both surprised, horrified, and extremely relieved when she felt her kick land solidly. The sound it made was entirely unpleasant, and she hopped backwards to give them both some distance, though she was still dazed from her face getting smashed.

She shook her head to try and clear the fog, taking a deep breath. Her heart was thundering in her ears, and her throat felt tight and almost painful. She was half wondering if she was having a heart attack, but it had to just be the adrenaline from the fight itself.

This time, she dodged the turnip rather than trying to catch it or be distracted by it. Fool me once, and all that. She was, if nothing else, a fast learner, and that was something she prided herself on. She had learned a lot about fighting, after all, but this was one of the few times she was actually putting it into practice outside of sparring matches with her dear friend, Merlinite.

Since his balance was already thrown, Sinistra decided to try to knock him off his feet.

"Sonic Broom!" She yelled, summoning a broom to her hand. It was not a solid one, but rather made of magic, but it still had its purpose. She could not hit him with it, but she could use her magic. She swung it, creating a big burst of wind and kicking up all the dust in the area with it.

The turnip didn't work the second time, though it was no surprise. At least the Super wasn't stupid. But that just made this harder, and even worse considering she yelled something out and a broom materialized out of nowhere. Chambersite knew that he was at a disadvantage at this point and was wondering if he should bail. But he couldn't bail, not to something as stupid as the Senshi of brooms.

He grit his teeth, hoping he would be ready for whatever she used against him, and what she did use was a large gust of wind, blowing right in his direction! He only had a few seconds to react and unless he jumped, was unable to get away. And the latter was not an option. What if she used the broom while he was in the air? He could lose his balance and hit his head, and how pathetic of a way to go would that be?

Instead, he knelt down on his not-hurt knee and tried to survive the blast of air. He held his balance, but only barely, and he was already on the ground. If she decided to come and kick him while using her magic, he would have no way to dodge it.

Uhh found this one. Do not feel inclined to tag it if it is too old ;-;

Sinistra debated her options.

Her opponent was in a weak position, and she could easily take advantage of it and triumph in the battle, but to what end? She did not really want to hurt anyone, at the best of times, let alone when she knew she did not really have to. Yes, she was pledged to stopping Chaos from doing bad things, but there was a limit to how far she was mentally prepared to push that goal.

It still made her feel terrible, hurting people. Even ones that made a business out of hurting even more people. Just trying to think about all that made her head ache, though she was not about to let herself get distracted.

Her broom hadn't vanished yet, and she knew she had at least one more good swing in it. She usually used this skill to run away when things got bad, but if she could just use it to encourage her opponent to do the same, then she might have a small chance of getting out of a fight without hurting anyone else or getting herself badly hurt.

Maybe.

Gripping the magical staff tightly, she swung her body in a powerful sweep. She tried to put as much of her magical energy as she had left in it, though she was not exactly sure that was how it worked. Either way, a big gust of wind was heading Chambersite's way. She was already moving to get to the downed civilian and get them out of there.

Chambersite wasn't able to dodge it this time and got thrown back, hitting his shoulder first when he fell to the ground. He couldn't help but let out a noise of pain as it happened and using his good arm looked up to see that the Senshi was going after the downed civilian. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was in no position to fight anymore unless he did serious damage to himself.

He felt pain shooting through him and wished that he was able to teleport, but at this point he would just have to drag himself away to a safe spot and see if he could call for some help. Sure, he could do it now, but he didn't want to risk this Senshi being more than willing to kill someone of the Negaverse.

He got up and managed to walk away from the situation, making sure to check to see that the Senshi wasn't following him. Next time he would defeat her. But for now, he had to call it a defeat.

FIN

Sinistra breathed a sigh of relief, no where near even considering chasing after her opponent once he chose to end the battle. The very last thing she wanted to do was risk further trouble, and really, that had been more than enough action for her. She was shaken, but at least relieved that she had managed to get out of things without being too hurt.

Though a long, hot bath and a nice book were in order once she got home.

She was not, however, looking forward to the long walk back, which now felt like it was even farther because everything hurt. Sighing, she waited a little while longer, until her senses had calmed and no flicker of chaos remained in the back of her mind where she felt auras, then turned and started her trek. On the way, she distracted herself by considering all the different things she had waiting for her at home to be read, and trying to decide which point of study she would focus on.
