Anne Bonny collapsed against the stalk of a large sea worm column and wiped the sweat from her brow. She didnt understand it. Her map just...vanished! One minute, she was tracking her journey, making marks at all the turns, the next it was gone. Then again, she probably shouldnt have laid the dang thing on the crab. It wasn't her fault. The crab looked like a rock. Amd was rather big. How was she to know her map would walk off?! It was MUTINY. Getting up, she sighed and made her way along the bottom, occasionally hollering "Here Crabby, Crabby, Crab, crab!!!"

The green seafaunie had moved along the current of the waters, following wherever it may have led him. On this day, he decided to chase a particular fish that had the colors that he really liked. And so, the chase of the fish had begun. It was a fast fish, he thought, and sneaky. At one point, he lost it until he found it up ahead of him, moving to the surface. Oh no you don't! he thought to himself, putting his tail into full speed, leaving churning bubbles behind in his wake. Though the speed he had put himself in had caused him to shoot past the fish, who was giving him a weird look, and launched himself out of the water and landed in another spot.
And then... he saw someone. He saw... her. The red-haired pae'il that was just like him. Well, she had the tail, and the... wow, look at those hip fins. They're so pretty. Like her. The green seafaunie moved closer, his mohawk swishing in the slight breeze as he moved closely in the water, peering at the other female. "Um..." he blinked, raising an eyebrow at her chanting here crabby over and over. Was she... a seashell short up in the head? "Hi?"

Anne Bonny smiled hugely at the green stranger as tho they had been friends for years and waved at the general splendor around her. "Ahoy there Matey! Wouldna happened to see a crab around here, would ya? The wee lil thing seems to have run off with me map!" she said, before making cajoling noises and hollaring for the crab once more.
"It's about....yay big." She made a circle with her hands about the size of a dinner plate before continuing. "White? Kinda crabby? Has me blasted map on it's back?" She really hoped he wasn't a fellow pirate after her treasure. She'd hate to gut a helper.

Merrill just stared at the.. rather weird speaking female. At least, she is a female... right? He cocked his head sideways in curiosity, swimming a bit closely. "Crab? That big?" the male asked, looking in disbelief. Hrm, he silently thought to himself and then disappeared underneath the wavy surface of the waters, his fins splashing a bit of the water towards Anne Bonny as he tunneled through the waters. After a moment or two under the waters, the green seafaunie came up in front of the red-headed seafaunie with a confused look. "I found... crab?" he suggested, holding out a crab; a rather angry looking snappy crab that he had practically in her face.

She watched the new lackey race off with a satisfied smile. Oh, aye. He'd be a good first mate yet. If he didnt try to steal her map first. Turning back to the under curremt, she continued her search.
A few minutes she heard him return. Turning to see the crab he me tioned, she jumped back, her hand over heart. "Salted scallywags and sea ponies!! What are ye trying to do? Sea's sake. Put that thing down!" she yelled, staring at him as tho he were a few land scribbles short of a masterpiece. "i said white. And i don't recall asking for an angry crab!" She motioned off to the other sode of her. "Throw it away and help me find the true theif."
She didnt spare him another thought as she went back to her search.
