The Forest Kingdom is one of the kingdoms of Serenity outside of the primary kingdom, primarily existing within the forests of the world Serenity once occupied. The kingdom is home mostly to the elf Serenitians, though there are some non-elves who live here as well. The Forest Kingdom has always been particularly standoffish and aloof from the other kingdoms. Though there is peace, it is a tense peace. Those who live within this kingdom are much closer to old customs and teachings, and many dislike how open and accepting the other kingdoms are--particularly with demons and occasionally Reapers. Ever since the demon Jake became King of Serenity, the Forest Kingdom has essentially cut contact and kept their gates firmly shut. Some speculate they intend to go to war, but nothing is certain.
The Forest Kingdom is run by a monarch and a high council. The monarch is a position bound by blood, while seats of the high council are elected every decade. The council's word has weight, but the final decisions always fall upon the monarch.
Currently the only monarch is Queen Althesa. King Aemon was killed years ago trying to defend his people from a Reaper invasion, which some believe to be one reason the kingdom is so close-minded on matters related to Reapers and demons. The heir to the throne was once Princess Alisa, but after an incident involving a Reaper, her birthright was stripped away and she was exiled for the rest of her life in shame. Many outside the kingdom believe this was just an excuse to get rid of her, as Alisa shared many of Unisha's open-minded and accepting viewpoints due to being childhood friends with her and Phoenix.

Artemis Lylatt"Just walk beside me, and be my friend." The gates finally slowly opened--after being shut tight for quite a few years, allowing entry for two demigod High Serenitians. "Quite a process to get in." Artemis noted, as he stepped through the gates with his brother."Yeah, imagine if we DIDN'T have a bunch of important-sounding titles," Balder muttered."The Hearing Chambers are down this street--the largest building. Queen Althesa and the High Council are gathered, and they will see you. You will then leave, and the gates will be shut again." The guard said unpleasantly."Good to see your hospitality is as grand as ever," Balder said sarcastically, walking past the guard dismissively."I've never even been in this kingdom. Have you?""Yeah, once. Years ago, shortly after I first became a High Serenitian. Was asked to come out here to put down a small Reaper invasion. Most of the general public isn't aware that Reapers have been a problem for this kingdom for a while. After the war, they were sealed away, but there's a minor spatial distortion in this kingdom that lets them open temporarily portals around here. The portals are unstable and could accidentally send them to a void or some hellscape instead, but that doesn't matter to Krul..." Reapers would try to flood into the portals anyway. If they could've conquered the Forest Kingdom, it would've given them a foothold within Serenity, and that would've potentially led to another war. "Needless to say, even when they were asking me for help, they had a pretty strict, "get in, do your job and get out" attitude about it. Though they've become even more secluded ever since Jake became king.""Indeed... their contempt for demons and Reapers is well-known. Most Serenitians shared their viewpoint. That's what's led to the problems Jake's family has been having.""Well, it's our family too. Jake's our uncle and all.""Yes..." It was strange. It seemed like their family never really acted like cousins to Jake and Unisha's children. He felt like they weren't really that close, but perhaps that was due to being the children of a god. It was quite a different world.
Artemis glanced around as the two of them walked. The people they passed didn't try to hide their unaccepting stares and glares--all directed towards Artemis. They looked ready to attack at the drop of a hat. "I suppose I didn't expect much different." He muttered to himself."They call Serenitians who've been with a Reaper "Touched" here. Touched by darkness, or something. They can sense it radiating off of people clear as day." Balder chuckled. "Wow Arty, didn't know you had already been there."Artemis smiled innocently. "Well, we've been together for a while... we've been there a few times..."Balder grinned. "Glad to hear it. Not only for your sake, but anything to make these people uncomfortable is something worth celebrating. Wear that "Touched" nature of yours like a badge of honor.""Oh, I intend to," Artemis said simply. "My love for Kana is not something I am ashamed of. And I never will be. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me." Ironic since so many people feared Kana and thought being around her was a nightmare. Being with her was the thing Artemis enjoyed more than anything else in the world.As the two entered the Hearing Chambers, they would look up towards the queen who sat upon an elevated throne, and the high council encircled them within the circular room. There were also guards and soldiers. Quite a few. "Balder. I suppose prince wouldn't be much of a title for you since you're a demigod and a High Serenitian," The queen said as she sat in her throne, leaning her head against her hand. "And I see you intend to insult me. You brought a Touched urchin here with you.""Actually, I brought my also very powerful brother who happens to be a demigod and a High Serenitian. Maybe show him some respect.""If he wants respect he'll find none here." She said condescendingly. "Get this urchin out of my sight." Some of the soldiers began to move towards Artemis."I would advise against this course of action, Queen Althesa."The queen's face contorted into a look of disgust. "Now it dares to speak to me." She said, repulsed. "Balder, the Touched urchin will leave or this meeting will end.""Do you think insulting a son of Phoenix is going to do you any favors?""Your mother's title is unimpressive, and her lover does not scare me. Perhaps if she hadn't raised a filthy animal I would treat him with some dignity, but the Touched should not be looked at as citizens. They don't deserve rights. They are barely even people.""That true of your daughter too?""I have no daughter, only a disgrace that was born inside my body." Althesa responded matter-of-factly. "That worthless disgrace can share a spot in hell with the disgraceful urchin who sullies my Hearing Chambers with his presence.""You should really pick who you talk s**t to. Your little protection wouldn't do much if I had a shorter temper.""Do you mean to incite war? With a filthy demon on your throne it would not take much for me to agree.""Enough." Artemis slammed the holy side of his staff against the ground, sending out a small shockwave and freezing the guards and soldiers in place. "A group of elf Serenitians attacked Jake Wolve outside of the primary kingdom's gates. Were you involved?""..." Althesa's posture didn't change, and her gaze remained fixed upon Balder, as though she refused to even look at Artemis."Answer the question.""I surely hope you do not expect me to keep track of every single elf Serenitian who exists.""This attack was coordinated, and those killed by Jake were wearing soldier uniforms from this kingdom.""Did you only call for this audience to throw wild accusations and conspiracy theories?"Artemis held out his off-hand, a small dagger materializing in it. "This dagger was used in an attempt on Kaden Wolve's life. It was unmistakably crafted here, in the Forest Kingdom. It was created to kill demons and Reapers.""Things can be stolen.""Ah, I see now you can finally hear me.""..." Althesa's eyes narrowed as her face contorted into a contemptuous look."Things can be stolen. Right. I'm sure someone just waltzed into this kingdom with gates that have been sealed shut for years and just took it. Things like that--those aren't just stolen. Especially not from Serenitians. What exactly do you take us for?""I don't appreciate being put on trial in my own kingdom." Althesa said, standing from her throne. "I see now this hearing was a waste of time. Begone from my kingdom and do not return. And my people will kill the Touched urchin on sight if it enters again.""You must really not care for the safety of "your people" to have them attacking demigods.""Its existence is filthy and it does not deserve to exist.""Your viewpoints are sorely outdated.""Filth is filth. It is not a viewpoint, it is fact.""You know....." And suddenly, sitting in his own throne as it just appeared there, Nero. And not just any Nero. This was the Nero from Balder and Artemis' time. "Listening to someone call my children stains on the pages of history can get pretty tiring. You should stop. It's pretty rude.""You think your appearance here will scare me? You are a weak, pitiful god and I have no-""You certainly have a lot of confidence in that, what was it, Godslayer?" Althesa's eyes widened, and she grunted in surprise. "...What, you thought I didn't know?" Nero chuckled condescendingly. "You think those little scraps of paper can actually keep me from seeing what you're doing? You're more foolish than I realized. Especially so if you think a toy like that can kill me." In a flash, Nero was suddenly standing in front of the queen, leaning down to look her dead in the eyes. "You should remember something. You, your little friends, your entire kingdom--it all exists because I allow it to. I could wipe you off the face of the planet like I wipe the dust from my coat if I wanted to. I assure you, no matter how big you think you are, I'm much, much bigger. You're a pathetic ant compared to me." And then he was back, sitting in his throne in the same position, as though nothing had happened. "Back to my original point though, you should treat my kids with respect. You don't have to fear me, but my wife? Oh boy, if she could hear you she would've already cut off your tongue and fed it to you." Phoenix was not one to mess around when it came to her children, that much was certain. "But imagine if Kana heard the way you were talking to him. What I would pay to see what she did to you and your entire city." He chuckled to himself, waving nonchalantly. "Okay, constant reminder of how petty and worthless your existence is in leaving now, bye~" And with that, he vanished once again."...Heh." That was their father, all right."...." It was clear that pure rage was building on Althesa's face, and she wanted to take it out on the two there, but it also seemed clear that the confidence she had had moments before was mostly shattered now. Nero knew about the Godslayer? And Artemis was with Kana? Even she knew her--one of the most powerful Reapers there was. "...Get out of my sight." She muttered, hurrying away and out of the room in anger."Pleasure as always," Balder muttered, turning and walking out of the room alongside Artemis."No straight answers, just dodging," Artemis noted to himself after they left the Hearing Chamber. "This isn't the last we'll hear of this, I fear. At best there's a small group supplying the extremists and attacking those they think should die, and she didn't want to mention it due to the shame associated.""That would be the best case-scenario. However..." Balder shook his head. "Unfortunately, best case-scenarios rarely end up being accurate. And especially if they were creating something to try and kill father.""Godslayer... How unoriginal.""Maybe it's just an early codename.""Since father is with Unisha's sister, it would make sense to try to get him out of the picture before they go into full-scale war, if that is their intent. They can stay on the sidelines until that happens, theoretically, and not be targeted."Balder nodded. It made sense to try to stay out of Nero's sight until the time came to try to deal with him. They just apparently underestimated just how far Nero's sight was at all times. Omniscience was no joke.(( OOC: ))

    It was not until both Artemis and Balder left the Hearing Chambers, and were quite a ways away from it, did an even more unwanted guest...arrive. Oh, and the look on her face? It was no smiles, no amusement, not even that crazy grin she loved to wear in times of causing chaos. No, this was a look of pure rage, the most anger she had felt in possibly, all of her existence! Her deep violet eyes, were now a blood red, the color that would soon match this room.
The Queen there, wouldn't have even a chance to scream for her knights, before she was lifted upward by the throat, against her throne she sat so proudly in. She slammed her back, a few many times, disorientating her further. At the same time, Kana's magical chains appeared, all seeming to form in a strange offensive stance, a blade tipped end stopping directly at each and all of those within the room, a warning that one single, tiny move would very quickly put an end to their pathetic high strung lives. "Oh, Nero was right....So right..I DO want to cut out that tongue of yours. I want to cut it out so badly! You think because you have this position...YOU can talk to MY LOVER that way?! You are nothing compared to him, nothing compared to his family. You are so damn far from nothing, a spec of golden dust and a stuck-up-b***h thinking she has the power to do whatever she wants! And speak to someone with the purest heart you will ever know! You all here are worse then my kind. You sit here in your closed off walls judging everyone that isn't like you. You exile your own daughter, and call her a disgrace! YOU ARE THE DISGRACE! Only YOU! " The more she spoke, the more her rage was growing and showed little signs of stopping. This was a very dangerous situation for Althesa. "I'm going to allow you the gift to know how she felt, the day you kicked her out of her home. I will give you the gift of hating yourself. Then, we'll see as you become the true urchin of this forest kingdom of yours! "
Kana wasn't worried of starting a war, it already had started. With blades still set against the others who would act to protect their Queen, Kana moved in to violently, painfully sink her sharp fangs into Althesa's neck. But she wasn't having a snack, she was injecting the Queen with the 'Reaper Virus" as so many called it. The pain would start instantly the moment Kana released her, but there would be added pain as a bonus, and that was the pain she would feel as she was thrown, completely across the room to slam into the wall at the other side. The impact would normally knock anyone unconscious, but due to her body now taking a dark twist as she became the very thing she hated, a Reaper, she would be in far to much pain to fall into unconsciousness. "I would say, welcome sister but even I won't welcome you. I will enjoy watching your suffering and when they kick you out of your own Kingdom, think of Alisa's heart break when YOU did the same to her, remember that!" It didn't take long for the infection to take over, only minutes, really, but maybe if by some miracle of strength to fight it, it could take longer, but it was nearly impossible once one was bitten to fight against it, and this made Kana a whole lot more confidant that her plan would work. "I can't wait to see your people see their forest loving queen, is nothing more then a cold blooded REAPER!! "
Kana would feel her arm suddenly grabbed from the side, and pulled to great failure. "Mother..! Stop this! You are only making things a whole lot worse! " Probably seriously worse, attacking the Queen, and attempting to turn her into a Reaper? That could really be a terrible, terrible outcome and a very bad choice in Kana's actions."Leave, now! " "Alice...!?" She was a lot like her father, wasn't she? Appearing completely suddenly everytime she did something he deemed was wrong! "Did you not hear the way this filth spoke to your father?! She SHOULD be dead! I want to make that happen! More then anything, I WANT to kill her! " Alice wasn't going to have much luck in making her leave, not in this state of rage. "I would not hesitate...to take out all of these judgmental fools! " As far as she saw it, they were all a threat to the Serenitians, but most of all the Wolve family and every demon kind.

Artemis Lylatt"Just walk beside me, and be my friend."Artemis' head immediately jerked to the side as the familiar presence appeared from within the Hearing Chambers. Oh boy, this would go well. The soldiers around were already starting to mobilize and rush towards the Hearing Chambers."You've got quite the doting lady friend, Arty."Artemis couldn't help but smile despite the situation. "This isn't exactly ideal, but I can't help but appreciate when she gets defensive over me." Could he ever bring himself to really be upset at her? She was just too adorable. In his eyes. Besides, he couldn't exactly blame her in this situation. A lot of people would react like this considering how she spoke to him."Ngh!" Althesa's eyes sharpened towards the new guest. "Intruder." She hissed. "It's been years since we allowed a Reaper to infiltrate our domain, and you just show up here as if it is your right? I heard stories of Fenris' brainless daughter, but I never imagined it would be so serious. You are in a realm full of Serenitians trained to kill your kind, you fool." Unfortunately for Kana, she was far from the first Reaper to attempt to turn Althesa. Right as she began to lean in, the queen's arms snapped onto either side of Kana's skull, beginning to emit a vibrant light. Kana would feel a sudden severe heaviness and painful sensation, as the light magic began to drain away her energy while dealing damage. Against a Reaper, magic like this could be quite deadly if exposed for too long.But it wouldn't be, as a seal appeared around Althesa's arms, forcing them away from Kana and binding them together."Urchin! You dare to side with a Reaper?!""I do dare," Artemis said, his index finger raised towards her as the seal remained. Flicking his finger to the side, Althesa would be sent away from her throne and Kana, coming to a half near her soldiers, as several of them drew bows, firing towards Kana with arrows designed to kill Reapers and demons. Their power wasn't nearly as grand as something like Siegmund or Ivaldi, but they did deal good damage to monster-type enemies. Twirling his staff a bit, Artemis swung, knocking all the arrows away from their course with relative ease. "Stand down," he said with a commanding voice. "I am Artemis Lylatt, a High Serenitian and son of Nero and Phoenix, the Serenitian god and the warrior princess. If you pick a fight with Kana, you will be picking a fight with me. And you will not win.""This means war! I can see the primary kingdom truly cannot be saved if they are willing to make bedfellows of Touched urchins and Reapers.""My actions are my own, and Kana's actions reflect only upon me. I have no affiliation with the primary kingdom. If you wish to start a war, you'll be starting one with my father.""Ngh..." That would be rather one-sided."Stand aside. We are leaving."And that was when Alice would make her appearance. "Another Reaper comes to invade our home! Do you understand our law, urchin? Reapers are not allowed, and especially not your disgusting spawn. The blood of a Touched urchin and a filthy, foolish Reaper. It's no wonder this creature is so vile and disgusting.""..." Artemis smiled warmly....And suddenly, Althesa began to clutch her head. "...Nngh... what is this...?!" She began to breath heavily, starting to hyperventilate. Her eyes were wide--it seemed as though she were in some kind of serious pain."Perhaps you're getting a cold," Artemis said kindly. "I hear that happens quite regularly when you insult my daughter.""Damn, when did Arty get so scary?" Balder wondered to himself."Ghhh... you... you'll pay for this..." And she collapsed forward, losing consciousness."Pay for what? I haven't done a thing." Artemis said with a kind smile. "Now... move." Literally all the soldiers and guards nearly tripped over themselves hurrying out of Artemis' path. "Thank you." He erected a holy barrier around the four of them, just in case, starting to lead the group out towards the gate once again.(( OOC: ))

"Heh. You speak as though you allowed it. You didn't. I allowed it, you're defense is pretty terrible, isn't it? " She grinned at her. "Hmm, oh, those are so hurtful! Those words will be the death of me, what is a Reaper to do?! " Kana rolled her eyes at her. "Right, ugliest witch of them all. Maybe those ears are piercing into you're sorry excuse of a brain, to think you would be any threat to ME! Hahaha! " Unfortunate that her outburst of laughter didn't have the confidence behind it forever, as her failure to turn the 'witch' kind of backfired! Maybe binding her FIRST would have been the smarter idea, silly Kana. Her anger clouded her judgment in this case.As the pain of the light magic began, her first instinct was to teleport away, But just as quickly as the pain began, it also ceased very quickly by the help of a certain special demi-god lover. It would be silly to not expect this to happen, but she did hope to get some pain inflicted into the Queen here before he showed up. One day Kana would have some luck, today just didn't seem to be that day! It was amusing on the other hand, to see Artemis so easily handle both Althesa and the guards with no trouble at all, as expected. "..Heh heh...My insurance packs heat, doesn't he? Hahaha! You're all like tiny little ants, so easily put in place by my cute Artie! Your stupid queen and all of you are nothing compared to him. "
So, she decided to use her mouth again, this time throwing out a few insults toward Alice. "Oh, queenie, do you really value that tongue of yours? " Nero's words would go unforgotten, that was for sure!
With Artemis so discreetly attacking Althesa until she dropped into unconsciousness, Kana stepped forward. "You can't have ALL the fun, Artie!"
And there came the chains, wrapping around the Queen's entire body, twisting into knots, some going into diferent directions, all in to make it living hell to remove the chains from her. "This will take a few hours to untie her from. Have fun! " But she wasn't completely done, It would not be complete without the stamp of approval. That stamp was....her boot. The boot that was now pressed down over Althesa's mouth and face, leaving a bit of a mark there from the dirt of the bottoms of her boot. "Something to remember me by. "
Now satisfied, Kana turned back to Artemis and the other two, a wide grin on her face. With the holy barrier around them, she had little to fear if they did try to open fire with their fancy little arrows. "You know....she's unconscious, I should take this opportunity to successfully turn her, do you not agree?? For all she's said, we shouldn't let her off the hook this easy. "

Althesa "There is hardly defense for teleportation, you insufferable creature," Althesa countered. "At least, not for now. You aren't the only Reaper with this irritating ability." Which might imply they were trying to make countermeasures to teleporting into their city, though it wasn't exactly an easy thing to do. Testing teleportation and how to stop it was quite the undertaking, though that would be just one of many ongoing projects they had.
The "battle" would be short-lived due to a demigod's interloping, though in hindsight Althesa should've expected this. Still, she underestimated him--a costly mistake, it would seem. But this information would serve her well later. This was not the last they would hear of her...
As the chains slid across her body, beginning to wrap around her and bind her, Kana would hear a grunt from her, as she began to struggle a bit. So it seemed she HADN'T gone completely unconscious after all. Artemis seemed rather surprised by this fact--she was extremely mentally powerful to still be conscious after that. "I will... not forget this humiliation..." She said lowly, then came... Kana's boot, pressing down upon her face. The sudden wave of shame and humiliation that washed over Althesa was so significant even Kana would be able to feel it."Y-you... wretch..." To have this teenage Reaper stepping upon her face--HER, the queen of the Forest Kingdom--was the greatest insult she had ever been given. She was almost left speechless with how utterly humiliated she felt. Almost. "You keep talking about my tongue, but you must not value yours, because I will rip it from your dirty mouth personally... I will destroy you, dissect you, rip you into pieces... This is the greatest shame I have ever felt, and at the hands of teenage trash like you... you will remove your foot, or I will make you pay..." Because she was in the position to make demands. "Kill her...!" The guards and soldiers gathered there looked at Kana--her foot perched proudly upon their queen's face--and paused... before bowing their heads. It seemed like a show of submission, as though they realized they didn't have a chance against Kana, and so they couldn't follow through on their queen's orders. "Tch... you Reaper b***h... Remove yourself from my presence NOW...""......" Artemis seemed to be... staring at Kana. Like, really just oogling her without even really realizing it. Or how obvious he was being. Especially for someone who was almost always so calm and composed, it was almost humorous in a way. Kana was always attractive to him, of course, but something about her acting so in-your-face dominant to this queen without a single worry was just so very attractive to him. Of course, Artemis wasn't exactly his father in these sorts of things, but... well... it was just a natural response to this sort of thing. Right? Needless to say, he was getting pretty excited. ...Of course, the fact that Kana's skirt was so short and her foot being perched on Althesa's face revealed quite a bit of her leg wasn't exactly hurting matters. Artemis... was... quite attracted to Kana's legs. ...Very attracted. And she knew this. By the time Kana turned her attention to Artemis and started talking, he may as well have been drooling. He blinked suddenly. "Wh-what?!" Her words to him apparently broke him from his little love-filled trance state. "O-oh, er...." His face flushed. He so rarely ever got caught in such moments it was quite embarrassing. But maybe Kana was so slow she wouldn't even notice! ...Yeah, definitely... "A-ahem... No, Kana, you can't turn her. That could make things very complicated going forward for a variety of reasons. No, you can't do that..." ...But the way he left that off pretty much implied she could do whatever else she felt like doing, if she did want to, so long as it didn't result in Althesa being made a Reaper. The soldiers and guards still had their heads bowed towards Kana, so nothing was really going to be stopping them here."Begone from this place! Both of you! You Reaper b***h, you disgusting, lowly Touched urchin... I will not stand to have you sully my vision any longer!!" (( OOC: ))

 "Hahaha....You are funny.To think you feel so safe and cozy here. The MUCH more dangerous Reapers are always watching everyone in this world. I can promise you that you are dreaming if you think you are really safe. You could try to put up magical barriers to block us out, but it won't happen, you silly, silly crone. " Those words should terrify her, but her stuck up big attitude would probably come into play no matter what Kana said to her.
It wasn't long before the chains would wrap around her body and bind her into a cocoon of twisted chains that would certainly feel like the most complicated puzzle they had to solve in order to free their precious Queen. "Oh? Good, I wouldn't want you to! I want you to remember this moment, this humiliation, and prepare for it each time you screw with Artemis. One foul word from your disgusting mouth will guarantee it never speaks again. You could hate me all you want, you can hunt me, but you will never, ever catch me." Kana's laughing filled the room as she looked down at the pathetic form of the bound queen. She would rest a hand over her head, and pat it as though she were a sad little puppy. "Such big threats, but do you really believe you can pull that off? I'm in pretty good standard's with a God, you know. I think if anyone was to be ripped into pieces, it would be her haggy highness, laying helpless as she's bound by MY chains. You could end up in a eternal loop of being ripped apart for all eternity if something happened to me." She grinned at her. Perks came with being the love of a demi-gods life. She had Nero on her side!
"Yes, kill me...Ahahaha...You...Can't..Do.. ANYTHING! You pawns of this wicked witch here, should probably leave this place.She might just turn on you for cowering like timid little dogs! She threw her own daughter out. What do you think she will do to YOU? "
Then, she turned her attention on to her staring fiancée who she only now, realized was actually practically drooling over her. She grinned at him, winking playfully. "Were you that impressed with me? I can beat her up some more, if you want!" He didn't seem to really be to serious in his denial of Kana turning Althesa, which made it all the more tempting to just DO it and get it over with, but she would refrain from it, for now.
Meanwhile, the entire time since Kana bound Althesa, Alice calmly sat down into...the throne of the wicked Queen, knowing just how terribly it would irritate her to have a Reaper of any kind,even so much as touching her sacred throne must have been some kind of torture. With legs crossed she had her hand resting against her head, and her elbow against the arm of the throne, in a familiar fashion. Watching from here was quite amusing, even for sweet, gentle Alice....
And then, she hopped down. Her sites were set on Althesa, still bound there on the ground near her throne. She leaned down some, her hand coming to rest at the top of her head gently as she whispered something softly.. "Your throne was touched by a Reaper, you're home invaded by many, you aren't quite as scary as you let yourself on to be." She smiled innocently, and then, slammed the back of her head into the floor likely with enough force to knock her out for good. "So sorry! But this is what happens when you insult my father and my mother..." Then, she just..calmly walked away, looking as innocent as ever as she did! Yes, even the gentle Alice had her limits.

Althesa"I am well-aware of how Reapers operate. I've been dealing with them for ages... They come, they try to seize this kingdom, they are dominated by my superior might. You will be no exception, peasant." Althesa's strength was certainly something to be intimidated by to most, especially her magical prowess (though her physical strength was no joke either.) Though that might not be reflected too well on this particular day...
"You think yourself higher than you actually are..." She said lowly "You are a weak Reaper child. I have never been so humiliated... and I will make certain you regret this." Her eyes narrowed dangerously, though Kana might not be able to see that from... under her boot. "You hide behind Nero's power because you realize you are too weak to battle me yourself, I see. Not unsurprising for a skinny, weak whelp like you. You have no strength or spine, only the ability to hide behind those with more power... Pathetic." If you could say anything about Althesa, she certainly knew how to insult. A surprisingly useful skill in actual combat at times."...!" At Kana's wink, Artemis' face flushed even more red, and he seemed to begin to get a bit nervous. This was so strange... usually these roles were a bit more reversed! She was usually the one more open about fawning over him, but.... well... he couldn't seem to help it... "Y-you're a very impressive girl, Kana... I... can't help but be taken with you..." And turned on, too... At her last words, he paused for a moment. "...Well... if you'd like to, I-I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to... that..." Artemis usually preferred less violence when possible, but this might have been a special situation. "But, we can simply leave if you'd prefer..." It was ultimately her decision, but... while he usually reined her in on her sadism with other people... he wouldn't mind if she beat this woman and showed her supremacy a bit more. A little tormenting never hurt anyone. Right? ...Right. Definitely.As Alice apparently seized her throne, Althesa's demeanor seemed to... change. As though her fierce and seemingly unrelenting rage was replaced by a more timid, docile woman... but it only lasted a short time. She seemed to have some connection with the throne, and when it was seized in such a way, perhaps it caused her to lose some of her fighting spirit and willpower. "Remove yourself from my throne, you insect...!" The rage in her voice was apparent. "You will suffer for that... I will make sure of it...!!" She let out a loud, pained yelp as her head was slammed against the flooring. ...That small girl was a lot stronger than she appeared to be. "How dare you... That throne is directly connected to me! It is meant for me and me alone! Anyone else sitting there is a high insult and dishonor to my name, especially a Reaper! No Reaper has ever sat there before... and I vow, no Reaper ever shall again! NEVER!!" She was quite certain she would make sure no other Reaper ever sat there. Ever, apparently.(( OOC: ))

"Whaaat? Ahahaha... What on EARTH are you going on about? Me, hiding behind those with power? Hiding behind Nero?!?! " She couldn't contain her laughter, it was as if her attempted insult of her was the greatest, most amusing thing anyone had ever said to her! "Are you freakin' kidding me,crone!? It is I, who came here on my own with my own intentions of turning you into one of US for talking to Artemis that way. I myself, wanted to make you suffer! I didn't 'HIDE' behind anyone, you stupid fool. It wasn't my plan for everyone to show up here, but it also isn't a big surprise. Artemis is the one who always stops ME from hurting freako's like YOU! Hide behind those with power......You-crack-me-up! Perhaps a feather is stuck in your brain and slowly cutting out your intelligence.." She snickered again, pointing at the crows atop her head. Yes, they were decorations of sorts, which she knew, she was just trying to throw out her own insults back at her!
Rolling her eyes, Kana would return her attention back onto her red-faced lover, causing her grin to widen. He was so darn cute when he became flustered around her. It was quite the entertaining moments between the two, Kana's moods could change in a instant, from her earlier rage to a now beaming smiling face as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "As long as you are impressed by me, I'm happy! It fills me with even more energy, energy to put a true end to miss feather-brain here! "
But would she ever get such a chance? Alice might beat her to it. As Althesa's mouth ran, Alice suddenly stopped herself, turning around swiftly and...hurrying right back to the seat of the throne, crossing one leg over the other, and now just resting the both of her arms on the armrests. "..Then I will happily insult you, and remain here until I feel like leaving. " She said with a small smile. "It may be a while, but you may watch as I remain here, dishonoring your name. "

Althesa"You are painfully delusional if you believe in yourself so much," Althesa remarked coldly. "You are weak. Nothing without that Touched urchin. If not for him, you would be dead now." Whether or not that was true was hard to say. "You could not defeat me in single combat. You would be left licking the bottom of my boots, but even that is too high an honor for a lowly creature such as yourself." Ironic thing to say considering their positions..."N-not too close, Kana..." Artemis said nervously. Though he... hid it well... she would notice what he was referring to if her body pressed close enough to his. "Err, aha, I'm always impressed by you, Kana. And it makes me overjoyed that you enjoy that. I love you so very dearly." And that was true. He certainly had lustful thoughts towards her as well, but the love and affection he had for her were plain as day! Though the same certainly seemed to be true for Kana. They were honestly an adorable couple."N... no!" The sudden desperation in Althesa's voice was obvious as Alice once again took a seat upon her throne, a leg crossed over the other. "N-nghhh..." Her expression was changing, as were the feelings emitting from her. She began to struggle against the chains, she needed room... just enough room...
And a moment later, her form would suddenly... vanish? No, she transformed. And emerging from the mess of chains was a large raven with impressive wings. She let out a loud screech, which would cause Artemis and Kana to be frozen momentarily, and then she shifted back to her regular form. "Y-you... nnh, no..." She began to walk towards the young girl seated so firmly on her throne. "Too... fast... it's happening too... fast... because it's a Reaper, and not just any Reaper... a mere child...! This... disgusting creature should be licking the bottom of my boots! She deserves nothing more than a life in chains! She... nngh..." She stumbled forward, dropping down to her knees. "Nghh... move... p-please..." Her throne was connected directly to her mind, and due to that, she could use it to forcibly indoctrinate people and bend their will to suit her needs. ...But if it was forcibly seized from her in a fashion such as this... it had the opposite effect. And that would become apparent as... Althesa slowly lowered herself to her hands and knees. All her rage, all her hatred, all her defiance--it was all gone. Her pose was entirely, completely subdued. The absolute picture of submission, like a subjugated slave bowing to their master on a throne. She cast submissive eyes up to Alice. "...I... I understand my place now... Master Alice... I exist... only to serve you... I... am... your slave..." ...Well, this was quite the turn, wasn't it? By now, Artemis and Kana would be freed from their brief stun with no harmful side effects, since it was intended only to cause them to pause momentarily.(( OOC: ))

Kana tilted her head, thinking a moment, only to smile as something occurred to her. "Actually..I do, because he believed in me, he seen something even i couldn't see once, something you and your stuck up kind will never see. That is that not all Reaper's are SO horrible as you believe. Even if they are completely sweet, you would turn them away, or slaughter them, wouldn't you? You don't care about if they've changed to live a better life with someone that loved them despite all the bad things said about them. That's pretty clear when you exile your own daughter, who might I add, wasn't even at FAULT for what happened. You dumb-blind-cold-hearted b***h..." Why did it infuriate her so much? Maybe it had something to do with becoming a mother herself, and Kana was far, far from the best mother of the world, but even still, she could never think of doing something so horrible to Alice. She would never disown her, no matter what she did! Yet this woman did it without even a form of remorse or care. "Do you even feel pain for what you did to her? Or is your heart so frozen over the gift of feeling is gone? " Well, Kana certainly had a lot to say. "Anyway, back of that first subject..No, no, that's not exactly right. I wouldn't be dead, I would probably have slaughtered you, and this entire kingdom of yours..by myself. Before Artemis came into my life, that was how I survived, I'm sure this detail is something you wouldn't be to surprised of. I lived to kill and please my father, a father who never really cared about me or my brothers, but we never questioned his methods and we grew up to do as he wanted...Conner was the first to break free and find his own will to stand up against our father. Zenjiro still follows him, but I think MAYBE he toned down his killing too. " He even seemed to stop stalking Teresa, which was even more interesting! "And then I met Artemis. ...It was a struggle, but he never gave up on me. I got to meet his family in time, and even they were all so welcoming of me. It was one of the best feelings I ever felt in my life, to be so excepted into this great family..and here we are now, together forever. Artemis saved me from a terrible life, and you know what? There are plenty more Reapers out there waiting for the same chances, but rarely will get them......Because of people like you. " She finished off with a hand through her hair, as she turned away from Althesa quite proudly, she figured what she said was well enough to possibly open her mind up to possibilities that MAYBE she was wrong about them. About some of them.
Now standing oh-so-close to Artemis, she scooted closer to him, a tiny, playful smirk spreading. "Oh, heehee...Maybe we should go.." She whispered so only he could hear. "I can tell." She snuggled against him in a playful manor. "You sure are overjoyed.." She grinned. " I love you moore~"
"........" Alice sat there, for a moment she was actually watching her two love-bird parents, feeling a little awkward suddenly. They were obviously teasing, judging by the red on her blushing father's face. She shook her head, quickly looking back to Althesa, just at the very moment she thought she vanished, only to turn into that of a large raven! "...? " Uh oh? Was that bad? Should she move? Maybe that would be the best choice, but for whatever reason she didn't move away from the throne at all. She didn't even notice the screech she let out had frozen her parents into a momentary stun. The confusion that followed was quite obvious in Alice's eyes as she just sat there, staring at her with confused eyes as Althesa dropped down to her knees....In front of her! What just happened?! "..I'm very confused..Master ..Alice??? My slave?! .... Wow, did she ever have the opportunity of a life time. This was obviously not her plan, nor did she know something like this would ever happen. ".....Um...." Oh god, what was she to do in this awkward situation? "...Slave....." She said again, this time more so to herself softly, as though she were thinking... "..O-okay, slave....! A-As your master--you will never hurt another Reaper, wait, no...you will....accept any um, nice Reaper who might seek your friendship in the future and not judge them so harshly! You will see the good in them and allow them kindly into your kingdom..." Well, that was at least one small way to handle this. "Is that understood, slave??! "

Althesa"Your words are hollow and your intentions are distorted. No matter what you think you're feeling, it's nothing more than a teenage whimsy. Reapers are not good. They are all black-hearted and pure evil. If not for your kind, Aemon..." She shook her head. "He was a foolish idealist. And Alisa took after him too much. Both wanted this kingdom to be more open, to abandon the old ways... and look what happened to both of them. Aemon is dead and Alisa is a Touched urchin, a fate even worse. At least Aemon could die in honor. Alisa is a disgrace to her bloodline." She shook her head. "There can be no deviation. There is no extreme too great. You and your kind are filthy vermin. You need to be exterminated. You've ruined..." ..Everything about her life. "Your kind deserve no chances. A knife in the back is the best someone could expect for fraternizing with Reapers. I would not be surprised if you are merely using the Touched urchin to enslave him or his father. But that is irrelevant to me--both are fools and would deserve no less." She couldn't seem to accept the idea that a Reaper would ever be more than evil, plotting to enslave the ones they supposedly cared for. The two people closest to her had had their existences ruined by Reapers, and Althesa was a vengeful woman.That smirk on Kana's features certainly didn't do anything to calm down Artemis' excitement. In fact, expressions like that were so attractive on her... "You may only be making the situation worse..." He said sheepishly, considering that expression of hers along with her implications of them going. He let out a soft noise as she snuggled against him in the way she did. Why was she so cute and yet so very hot at the same time? It was a difficult combination to deal with! "To be honest, Kana, I become... overjoyed every time I see you, but... usually I can hide it better..." Her actions towards Althesa made it pretty impossible it seemed! "How in the world was I blessed with such an adorable girlfriend? Truly, I don't deserve you." He put his arms around her. "So cute, and such a perfect body, too..." He said that last one especially quietly so only she would hear. It was funny that he felt undeserving since so many people were baffled at why he loved being with her so much! Considering her less than ladylike tenancies, it made for an interesting pair. "'Though I can guarantee you that your words are untrue--because it's impossible for anyone to love anyone more than I love you." Now was clearly the time and place for their lovey-dovey flirting."Y-yes... of course... I am yours, body and soul..." Althesa had probably never been put in this position before, but she was aware it was possible. That was the risk associated with connecting her mind to her throne so closely as she had. As Alice called out "slave," Althesa's eyes came to attention, as she looked up at her from her prostrated position, her ears perking up. "Yes?!" She asked, the anticipation in her voice clear. She listened to everything Alice had to say, and though part of her raged quietly at this entire situation, her mind could only see Alice as her master for the time being. "Nngh..." She seemed to be trying to get control of herself, until.. Alice's last words. Her demanding voice caused Althesa's mild resistance to break entirely, and she went back to being the picture of pure submission, lowering her face down to the floor as she remained there on her hands and knees. "Yes, Master Alice! I understand! Anything you say, whatever you want--I exist only to serve you! Is there anything else I can possibly do for you? I would happily clean the bottom of your shoes with nothing except my tongue! I would kill anyone you find undesirable! If you tire of sitting on the throne, I would be honored if you used my back as your personal chair...!" Wouldn't that be quite the sight--the intolerant elf queen who hates Reapers, with a Reaper sitting on her back as though she were a chair. How would her people react to that? Not to mention licking a Reaper's shoes... What a scandal! (( OOC: ))

       It was exactly as the sun began to go down, that the youngest of the royal family set down four pure white lily's in front of the large statue of the lost king, Aemon. This was the very spot all of their lives changed forever, where her father was killed. Ever sense that day, Athena had visited at this time, every single day and never once missed it. She was very serious about being here at the same time, and made sure she always had her day planned out that she always get here in time.
She sat down, thinking a moment. "..Today I...um, well, I didn't do very much..! I think my most exciting part of today was on my walk, there was a family of fuzzy, tiny adorable little bunnies. So fluffy they were! I think you would have liked them. I gave them each a tiny hug from all of us! Now it is for certain they will remember you too. I said "This hug is from your great king, Aemon! " How could they forget that, right? " She smiled. Athena was way to adorable for her own good, and she didn't even try to be! "I will be sure that every newly born life here always knows of you, my most wonderful father."
Glancing up as the sky began to darken, she lowered her head a little so that she was looking up at the statue figure of her father. "Just..keep watching out for Alisa and Aeon...Okay? As long as you do that, I know they will be safe. I miss them so very much.." Her smiling face faded into a small frown, something that wasn't often seen on the happy face of the young princess. "I miss you..I miss Alisa and Aeon. " She paused a moment, glancing around her surroundings. She was alone here, but sometimes she felt it better to double check."Can you keep a secret? ...honestly, I feel so alone. My father, my sister and brother have been taking away from me. I can't even see them, though sometimes I think about leaving, If I left just as everyone has gone to sleep, I can do my best to find them, and even if its just for a moment..I think it would be worth it to be able to hug them again! Then I can come back before mother wakes, and no one will have ever known, right? What do you think? Good plan, right? " She knew she wasn't going to get an answer, but that never stopped her from having full conversation with her father, she felt very strongly that he could still hear her. And so long as she had that belief, she would continue to do this. It always made her feel better, too. Who did she really have to talk to? A mother who wanted to have no conversations of her two 'disgraceful' children? Talk about her father, only to hurt her with memories? There was no one here she could talk to, no one but her deceased father.
