So, she had built in some exceptions to her eating out rule. It wasn't that she couldn't, it just had to be worth it. One exception, of course, was pizza. There was no way she was cutting that out. Nothing beat the feeling of a delivered pizza most of the time. Another exception was spending time with friends. One more exception, when she wasn't with friends, was that the place she ate at was local and used fresh ingredients.

That's how she found herself at one of her favorite food stands in the city. It was a meat bun, owned by a husband and wife who moved to the city from Japan. She had come here a bit as Stillwaterite, had chatted to them, when she could. Learned a bit of their story, and how they made their meat buns. They all fell under her new eating out guidelines. It was kosher.

Solas quietly thanked them as the husband handed her a bag filled with the delicious goods, and turned away to start the trek back to a bus stop to head home. The woman paused though, as she caught sight of something small, white and fluffy, and she felt her heart nearly leap. Was that---

The woman moved towards him, waiting until there was a bit more distance between her and the food stand before she called out softly, "Itsuki?"

Seeing the Guardian, she felt something she hadn't expected to feel so soon. A short burst of pure joy. One good unblemished memory from her time as Stillwaterite. Itsuki had been a good pure soul, and not only was she glad to see him because he could change her pen, but because she was just genuinely happy to see him. Solas glanced over her shoulder to make sure she wasn't catching anyone's attention, and then knelt before the Guardian near his hiding spot.

He said something she didn't understand, yet again, but she supposed it was fair to take it as a greeting.

"I'm happy to see you." She said, keeping her voice low. "You know me. We've met before. Tomodachi." The hand that wasn't holding out the bag reached out, but paused before the Mauvian. She had heard that Guardians could tell a senshi by touching them. "I used to be Stillwaterite."

Her lips tilted up, briefly, as she watched him. He was still just as excitable. Even more so now, actually. He wasn't sad at all about what she was now. The woman glanced one way and then the other once more, just keeping an eye on their surroundings, and then focused back on the Mauvian. "Of course." She replied, and placed the bag down to the side of her. She then reached for the Guardian and carefully picked him up, where she cradled his soft and fuzzy body to her chest.

"It's Solas, as I am now." She answered. "My other name is Sedna." It still took some adjusting. Like blowing the dust off of a record that was once frequently played...though she couldn't remember playing it.

Solas put Itsuki back down near his meat bun after a moment, and shook her head a bit. "We don't need to celebrate. Just seeing you is reward enough." Shippu-chan...that was cute. "I have a favor to ask of you as well, if that's alright. Would you be able to change my pen for me?"

She was finding it very hard to not be in a good mood the more time she spent talking to him. "No, it's okay, Itsuki, I don't need a cake or a party." But this raised the question: how exactly did the Mauvian get a cake? "I'm...not into gatherings right now. Coming back, it's been---hard." She'd be honest. "So I'm taking things slow." She smiled softly at him. "So if you want to do something, and it's just you and I, that'd be good. How about that?"

An...APUGUREIDO...an upgrade? Solas' body shook lightly with contained mirth. "Ah...no. More like a downugureido?" She paused for a moment. "Would you know somewhere a little more private nearby?" The woman asked. "I can show you."

Go get sushi with a Mauvian...that more than likely broke a ton of ethical codes when it came to food but...ah, well. "Sounds good." Solas agreed with a nod.

She wasn't surprised that Itsuki was confused by the request. Just from what she could remember talking to Methone about this (and what she had written herself), people like her...they were rare. Those who had been shifted into an opposite side and then brought back. "I'm already downgraded." She informed the Guardian. "So it wouldn't be by your doing." Still, when Itsuki moved, Solas grabbed her bag of meatbuns and followed after him.

The woman glanced around once more, just to make sure they weren't being tailed.

She couldn't help but be amused that Itsuki knew how to slip in but...she wasn't complaining. It was a good place for some privacy, and once they were indeed, by themselves, the woman fished her pen out of her inside jacket pocket. Solas knelt once more before the Guardian, and showed her pen to him. It was her Corrupt Eternal pen. Maroon and black, with bat wings adorning it.

"I was originally an Order Senshi." She told the Mauvian quietly. "But I became too open with someone who I thought I could trust. They ended up being a Corrupt Senshi, and they lured me into a trap and corrupted me as well. I lost all my memories. A few days ago, I purified because I had learned the truth, that I had been forced...but a starseed can't handle the transition from side to side like that so even though I had been an Eternal in the Negaverse, I lost power returning to Order because of the strain on the starseed. I'm back to being a super again."

And as long as her pen was like this, she couldn't power up. Mauvians could swap pens and upgrade them...so...it would seem to make sense that they could swap and downgrade them, too.

Been through a lot...yet couldn't remember a lot of it. Even what she could remember going through, it did feel like too much loss for one life time. There was nothing to be done about it though, but to pick up the pieces and keep going. "It is what it is, Itsuki. You just have to do what you can with what you got." She replied, and brows rose as the Mauvian did...a little cat bow to her?

"Oh, you don't need to do that, and you don't need to thank me. Thank you for doing this to me." She didn't have a doubt that Itsuki could do this. A Chaos Guardian turned her Order pen into a Chaos one. There was no reason that an Order Guardian couldn't turn it back---and to the proper form as well. As he went to work though, eyes cast down to her pen, and---

Ah. There it went. She watched as it transformed, the black wings fading away and the entire form itself shifting to what she remembered seeing after she had been corrupted. An Order pen belonging to a Super senshi. There was some relief upon seeing it. Now she could transform again.

Solas looked at it, and then at Itsuki where she offered him a small smile. "You did it. I knew you could."

She nodded her head. It was what she was going for...well. What she wouldn't do to be an Eternal again, but in the grand scheme of things, she was thankful that she wasn't demoted back to Basic. That right there, would have been incredibly rough.

Solas looked down at the pen for a bit longer before she slid it back into her coat pocket. She remained kneeling, folding her hands on her knees as she looked at the Guardian. "I am going to continue to be a senshi." She replied. "I have a lot of redeeming to do under this mantle, Itsuki."

She still couldn't help but smile a bit at his boundless enthusiasm and energy. His earnestness to what to do what was right and to help. "I appreciate it, and I'll take you up on it as I move forward. Thank you, Itsuki. I truly mean it."

"Usually it is." Solas replied with a quirk of her lips. Would her's be? Only time would tell, but the plan was to make it so.

Well, she couldn't resist how cute he was, so when he rubbed against her knee, she reached to scratch under his chin and at his ears. Her hand paused as he produced his...Mauvian phone? "Ah...!" The woman nodded her head. "That is a good idea." Solas fished out her phone, exchanging numbers with the Guardian, and also made sure to dial him into her senshi phone as well.

It was always good to have allies to trust.
