As the sun began to set, the temperature dropped below freezing again; solidifying all the slush that had accumulated along the sides of the roads covering the concrete in a sheet of ice. Thankfully Phedre had enough common sense to put chains on her tires before leaving the house.

This meeting she had with Zinkenite had been scheduled a few days ago and while it was proposed under the suggestion of training, she really wasn’t sure what to expect from it. For a while now her energy quota had been exceeded especially over the holidays because there were plenty of people who really didn’t like being alone this time of year which made them easy targets.

The place she had been instructed to go to was out along the city limits near the industrial part of town right where snow covered pine trees lined each side of the street before opening up into an area with several warehouses, a mill, and what looked to be an abandoned building with the number of shattered windows along the north side.

There was little evidence that anyone had been out this far in at least a week, if not longer.The snow in the parking lot had built up to a good five inches and looked as if it had been undisturbed since the storm began in December. Surprisingly it seemed that every last employee made it out just in time as there wasn’t even a single abandoned car left in the lot as she put her car into park in the middle of this frozen wonderland.

For several minutes, Phedre held her hands out in front of the heater to soak in some extra warmth before finally resigning herself to powering up to see if Zinkenite had already arrived.
~~~
There was an energy signal, absolutely, and it felt more like a general, or a powerful captain perhaps. Rather like when he had Absinthe there to mask his power and keep them from attracting too much attention.
The signature vanished for a breath, and then reappeared, a few feet away, scuffing his feet in the snow.
“Well?” He called. “You’re not going to stay warmer in there, trust me.I can make sure of that .” He grinned enough to reach his eyes despite the mask, and Abby peered out from the confines of his tall collar, looking rather content with her lot and perch.
“Today, is not just about training you to be stronger, or faster. We’re going to make you more aware of what surrounds you.” He said spreading his hands.
“I’ll go slower for you, I won’t teleport as much as I could, and I certainly won’t knock you top over teacups unless you get a bit reckless. But, we have a lot of things I can do, that should prove every bit as informative, and worth avoiding.” He bowed, more than a little tease in his voice.
~~~

From the other side of the glass Meridiana’s expression looked rather displeased by the way that her lips made an almost perfect rainbow shape with how deep her frown was. Before opening the door she drew in a deep breath then exhaled to fog up the cold glass window. With her index finger she began to write something backwards so at least he could read it.

U SUCK The fog itself didn’t last long with her defrosters running but the point was made nonetheless.

After cutting the engine she opened the door and stepped outside, “This is cruel and unusual punishment you know that right?”
~~~
“Oh no, that happens if you don’t pay attention.” he said and chuckled, reaching up to rub Abby’s ears.
Come on then… Come try and hit me.” He said backing up one slow step, and then another.
“Do try not to hit the cat, She’s rather heedless of my neck.” He added.
~~~

“Hey now, that’s not fair…” She blurted out after actually trying to take a swing at him because it was flippin cold outside only to be evaded as if she was nothing more than a toddler trying to keep up with an adult.

“Just-” She paused and in a huff pointed at him almost scoldingly but with no bite or authority behind the action. “Hold up. Did you-... Is this-... Are we… playing tag? Is that why we’re out here?” Why else would he be challenging her to hit him?
~~~
“No, I mean try and HIT me, Say, that should I turn the tables on you, that I might hurt you, If you don’t succeed before I reach, say, that tree… I’ll start turning the tables on you. If you do, I’ll give you another destination.”
He explained it calmly.
“If you can get through this, we’ll upgrade to things like chalk, it should just be warmer for that, or a space indoors, I think I know someone who could provide it too…”
~~~

“Yeah… sure… if I don’t freeze to death first.” Meridiana muttered under her breath. While a warmer place to train was definitely appealing it really wasn’t enough motivation to get her going quite yet. “What do I get if I do hit you though?” Just like the tic-tac-toe game she wanted a prize.
~~~
“Strike me, say… 8 times, we won’t make it too hard, and I’ll give you one of those stories you like so much. How does that sound? Otherwise, we can negotiate terms after you figure out what my counter attacks are.” he chuckled… a wicked gleam in his eye as he backed towards the tree.
~~~

Meridiana’s eyes narrowed in his direction as she pondered his proposition. Eight times… Seemed a bit much but she highly doubted he’d change the number, at least not in her favor if she put up an argument. That look in his eyes did not bode well for her in any case, there was something he wasn’t saying, something he had planned and while knowing was half the battle that laugh of his still made the hairs stand up on the back of her neck.

Nope…

Without a word she turned her back to her General King so she faced her car and with one hand reached for the handle yet she didn’t open the door. Instead she watched his reflection to see if he would actually stop her from going.
~~~
He sighed, shaking his head and looked askance, before vanishing. He appeared, again for a heart beat, a flicker of movement, like a stutter before he appeared, crouching on the -roof- of her car, with a large, handful, of snow.
“Really, quitting already, That deserves a penalty.”
And then he dumped it on her.
~~~

That… did not go at all how she had planned. “Damn it!” The outburst had nothing to do with the fact he didn’t respond how she had anticipated. Rather it had everything to do with the cold chunks of snow that slid down her backside and clung to her hair.

The arm that had been hanging to her side balled into a fist “You know what?” She looked up at him, that familiar fire burned in her eyes the same way it had when they had first met. “Challenge accepted!” She let go of of the handle and with what strength she had as a senshi shoved her car to the side knowing it would just slide on the compacted snow she had parked on top of.
~~~
He gave a surprised sound, a solid thump of his posterior onto the roof, and then the most visible thing for a moment were his boots as he vanished over the side to the accompaniment of Abby’s undignified squawk, and some swearing.
~~~

“Oh crap! Sorry Abby…” Meridiana winced honestly not meaning to make Zinkenite fall on the little mauvian although if her claws had managed to get him she was half tempted to count that as a first hit.

As she skirted the car, the Senshi of the Succubus paused next to the right headlight and looked down at the General Sovereign, with his coat fanned out around him in an almost undignified fashion. The sight itself felt like instant karma for dumping the snow on her which brought an overly amused look to her face. “I’ll do this training of yours under one condition… If you’re going to have Abby dampen your signature then you agree to be bound by the limitations of your perceived rank. Meaning…” Again she pointed a finger at him, “no infinite teleports.”

“Deal?” Meridiana, in good faith, reached a hand out to help him up.
~~~
He arched an eyebrow at her.
“I’ll agree, to limiting my teleports, but for this time only… heaven help us someday we may find a senshi of portals, or you’ll find yourself offending a Dark Mirror Senshi in a Fun House. We’re going to make sure you’re prepared.” He said and strood up, dusting himself. Off.
“Besides, think on this, the more snow you soak ME with the damper my coat is going to be when I offer it to you at the end of our training. Just a warning.” He smirked.
~~~

“Fair enough.”

Meridiana’s demeanor shifted then to something more relaxed if not self assured or confident that she may actually have a chance. In her right hand a golden ethereal item appeared and as she gripped the handle the full length of the whip appeared, the end of which coiled at her feet. In a fluid motion she swung the magical weapon around and snapped it beside her with a resounding crack that echoed in the empty parking lot. “Look at me.” she said in an almost seductive voice.

Releasing the weapon she brought her hand up and blew a kiss in his direction and added an unnecessary suggestive wink just for good measure.

With an almost feline grace she walked towards him so their toes were nearly touching. “Just as a fair warning in return,” She purred, reaching up to trace his jaw line with her index finger only pausing when she got to his chin. “I have absolutely no intention of returning it to you any time soon. I got dibs on it for the rest of winter.” Not that she had any way to enforce it especially since she knew the moment Zinkenite powered down it too would disappear.

Speaking of which… All he had to do was power down then back up and it would be dry again so what did it matter if it got super wet. As that simple realization dawned on her, Meridiana’s grin grew ever wider.

Knowing that her magic would break the moment she tried to hit him, Meridiana instead pinched the fabric of his mask and pulled it down so it was more like a turtleneck. Much like before she leaned in close enough that their breaths mingled between them yet she did not kiss him. Not on the lips anyway, at least not this time. Instead she rose up on her tippy toes and moved her head to the side to give him a kiss on his other cheek.

“I guess it’s your turn to run.” At her side, her other hand balled into fist which she brought up to punch him in the gut knowing that, despite their proximity, he would get away.
~~~
Abby, chose that -exact- moment, to jump for Zink’s shoulder, which meant a fluffy -ball, suddenly tried to jam itself between the two.
“My Warm spot!!” She protested squirming upward. “I’m WET and COLD and it’s NOT fair!” She huffed.
~~~

“Abby?!” Meridiana blurted out the mauvians name as if she had been betrayed by her intervention.
~~~
“It’s less fun when I’m in the snow!!” A stubby tail tickled the Senshi of the Succubus as it ‘swished’ back and forth the best it could for all her tiny irritation.
“Ohhh… you used magic, ohhhhhdear.” The cat said about half way up blinking wide green eyes.
~~~

“What?!?” She looked up at Zinkenite then back down at Abby. “He…” Again she glanced up into those sky blue eyes. Damn you… “You didn’t say anything about me not being able to use magic.” She huffed. Why is it she felt like more snow was going to be dumped on her for ‘cheating’.

“Are you really going to make me physically run after you? Because- well” She looked around the open parking lot then over to the tree he had pointed to a few moments ago and let out a heavy sigh. Well what? She had nothing to really add to that. “It at least kept you in one place long enough to get close.” Not like he’d allow her that opportunity again but it was worth a shot. “You can’t fault me for that.”

“How much of this property do you actually plan on using anyway? Can’t Abby just stay in my car, I’ll turn the heat on so she’s warm. Or does she-” Meridiana turned her attention to the little mauvian. “Do you need to be attached to him? Because let's be honest that’s two against one and you know I won’t hit her.” She already felt bad enough that her self proclaimed owner had fallen off the back of the car along with Zinkenite with the stunt she had pulled.
~~~
“Oh I’m not faulting you, but just remember, I have my own defences too.” He said wickedly. “And remember, the white moon senshi fight with Chibi’s as well, sometimes side by side. Imagine she’s one of those. Beides, You try and control a guardian cat who’s discovered that the inside of your collar is a ‘toasty’ place to be for… “
“Cold toe beans!” Interjected abby as she settled in and turned to address Zink.
“You really need a scarf, you should ask Metalia.”
~~~

“I think he has enough layers.” Both figuratively and literally which kind of sucked for her. Not only did he not react like she had expected him to when she used her magic, there wasn't even a hint of a faint blush this time which meant that she was obviously losing her touch or he was becoming immune to her flirtatious nature already. But, despite all the clothing he had on, Meridiana knew it wouldn't hinder his movements unless, by chance, he got overheated.

“So seven more hits then?” Meridiana raised a brow at him assuming Zink would contest her number.
~~~
He nodded, agreeing.
“Seven more, but you’ll be working for it. You -can- concede, but then you won’t get your prize.” He grinned.
“... just a suggestion, before we continue. You might want to, power down, take OFF your winter coat, power up and ah, don it again.” He said after a moment.
He was ‘casually’ backing away not quite looking at her.
“You’ll be, warmer, and it’s less likely snow will travel places that you’ll very much, regret.”
~~~

Meridiana stood there blinking a few times before turning her attention to some arbitrary object off to the far left of where they stood with an almost sheepish look on her face. Truth be told that hasn't even crossed her mind as an option despite doing exactly that when she went out on ‘dates’ to gather energy. I'm slipping…

“One moment.” Walking around to the other side of her car the diminutive signature blinked out of existence as she powered down and opened the drivers door. After removing her coat she sat down on the seat and began unlacing her snowshoes as well. “I'll be damned if I'm going to chase you around in heels.” Snow being dropped on her was one thing but a broken ankle was last thing she wanted to deal with.

Once done she powered up again, and removed her senshi shoes in favor of the fur lined boots that sat on the floor of her car, Meridiana put her coat back on and shut the door. It wasn't exactly the warmest thing especially since it lacked a hood but it was better than nothing she supposed.

“Ok.” She resigned herself to participating in this training exercise of his. “Ready when you are I guess.”
~~~
“People often forget that they can do that, just remember to take them off when you power down or they will go heavens knows where.”
He shrugged. “I thankfully, have the opposite problem. Summer is my personal nightmare.” He chuckled, stooping to scoop up a handful of snow.
“Right… So, you’ll have to be good at dodging too, some senshi attacks, you can dodge.” He said and chucked the snowball casually in her direction.
~~~

Rather than stepping out of the way Meridiana simply flinched by turning her body to the side allowing herself to get hit in the hip. Thankfully the snow was loosely compacted and just exploded in a puff of white flakes rather than leaving her feeling like she had been pelted with a baseball.

She crouched down to form two snowballs of her own all the while wishing she had remembered to grab gloves before leaving her house. “Some…” She stood up then, “but what about those you can’t?” Like hers, so long as the target was within range there was no escaping until she picked a victim from the group standing in her area of effect.

Meridiana lobbed the first snowball with her non dominant hand in his direction followed by the one she hoped would actually hit. Zinkenite was no fool though and luck, as per usual in these circumstances, was not on her side as the first one actually, shockingly, came close but the second fell apart before she even had a chance to let it go. Really…?
~~~
“If that was supposed to be an show of an unavoidable attack, you may wish to rethink that.” He said teasingly.
“Remember, I’ve been doing this a long time.”
He tossed again, an all too casual lob of exploding snow.
“Perhaps, I should start keeping a tally, too many hits and you’re out of the game.” He mused.
“Give you more reason to be mindful of what’s around you, more reason to dodge.”
~~~

“Maybe I’m just boosting your ego a bit since, mind you, the last two challenges you lost.” Granted the first he didn’t think she would take him up on the offer while the other she had kind of set him up, then again it was just a simple game of tic-tac-toe.

Again she leaned over to form two more snowballs, this time making sure that each of them were firm enough to not fall apart like the last one had.”Keep adding on these rules, it’s almost as if you want me to fail or give up.”

Meridiana tossed the first one, this time with her good arm, aiming it at his torso - fearing that if she hit his face she’d hit Abby with it too. Despite her conspiring with the ‘enemy’, she was still innocent in her eyes. The second snowball she held onto for a moment as she sprinted towards him to close the gap between them at least a little bit before tossing this one again in his direction.

Both, like the first one she threw were a near miss but at least she was consistent.
~~~
“It would be lovely if fights were fair, but, for example, the last time I stepped out without a cat, we ended up with a prince on my heels, and he wasn’t aiming at me as a specific target. They aren’t going to seek to go toe to toe if they can just grind you into the dirt. It’s a war.”
His voice was firm but not unkind. The exercise might be on the light hearted side, but the purpose was serious.
“As they like to say, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.”
He lobbed another snowball as he twisted, it missed, whistling by.
“Case in point.” He said with a tip of his head.
~~~

“And an object in motion stays in motion.” She smirked, actually somewhat proud that she had dodged that one so effortlessly. However, if she were to be honest with herself that really was just a lazy toss. Nonetheless, as he said, a miss is a miss.

With each stride she took the gap between them became smaller and smaller until she finally paused just a few feet away, brought her leg back, and kicked a flurry of snow in his face; lucky for him it wasn’t sand. “So then,” Meridiana’s movements didn’t stop there though; as he lifted his arms to shield himself she reached out and grabbed ahold of his wrist.

More than anything she would have loved to try and hip throw him but with Abby curled around his neck, that wasn’t really an option nor did she know the technique on how to do such a move. Instead she twirled around in front of him, bring his arm to cross over her shoulders in a manner that might actually be deemed ‘cute’ if it wasn’t for the fact they were sparing. The Senshi of the Succubus leaned her back against him then and in that same motion drove her elbow back aiming for his gut.

With an almost innocent grin she looked up at him and held up two fingers as this was the second hit. “If you’re going to count your hits against me, does that mean if you miss I get those points back?”
~~~
“Hmmm Do you feel less like someone punched you if you punch them?” He teased.
“Let’s settle for I won’t count my hits against you, I’ll just be amused, sound fair enough?” Meri looked up at him warily but conceded just the same.
He swatted snow off his face grinning.
“Well thrown though. Still, I’m glad you didn’t have the same weapon I did when I started.”
He tossed the next snowball as he was swatting snow out of his hair, backing again for the treeline.
~~~

“Honestly, I feel like any weapon would be appreciated,” Meridiana grabbed another handful of snow and packed it together firmly before chasing after him again. “You see… Unlike you agents, once we’re out of magic then what? There’s nothing to defend ourselves with unless we intend to start throwing rocks.”

Bringing her arm back she lobbed the compacted ball at him with a bit too much arc.

“Don’t get me wrong, I love being able to use magic; putting people into a bit of a stupor so I can get close to them,” Something she would have to inquire about later was whether or not it actually worked on him. Zinkenite had stood there obediently for what she assumed to be the full duration but he also could have simply known the effects of her ability and been playing along to lure her into a false sense of security. If it truly didn’t work on him then chances are it wouldn’t work on a Prince or Princess either which meant it wasn’t something she could use as a means of escape.

“Only once has anyone ever broken free of it, a basic White Moon senshi, no stronger than I am. She got me pretty good in the face, not to say I didn’t deserve it.” She rolled her eyes at the memory of the incident and the purple eye she supported for the next four days. “But to this day I have no idea how the hell she did it.”

Running after him was no easy feat and no matter how much she pushed herself there was no gaining ground. He would reach that tree before she did which meant she may as well stop pursuing him and run the opposite way before she found out what punishment he had in mind for failing the first objective.
~~~
What might be interesting was that his current line of backing away from her, was actually going to plant his back against the tree. Which would make it harder to dodge.
“All the more reason to better learn to defend yourself.” He said with a nod.
“You are far stronger than us when it comes to magic, so much stronger, physically we have an advantage, but that doesn't mean you can’t learn to defend yourself better with training.”
~~~

And that’s where the problem was. Meridiana wasn’t a fighter by any means, information gathering was more her speed. Granted what they were doing now was kind of fun, if not at least mildly entertaining but what he was suggesting actually made her feel a bit uneasy.

“It would help if I had a youma of my own that actually obeyed me rather than look at me as if I’m about to be its next meal.” Even agents that were half youma looked at her, and other corrupts that way.

The next snowball was thrown half heartedly and fell several feet short of the longest branch.

“You beat me here before I could hit you,” Meridiana resigned herself to whatever consequence he had to losing this part of the training session. “Now what?”
~~~
“Well remember what I said about… being aware of your surroundings? Some, like Royal senshi, can basically, hide, without a cat. So even when You’re say, Eternal Rank, you might find yourself thinking your footing is even… and then.”
He swung his arm out, and smacked the tree, before ducking hastily to pull his coat over his head, right as the snow came cascading down.
~~~

Meridiana's eyes grew wind with the sudden realization of what he was about to do. “Don't you…” If she was a second rank Senshi then she would have been quick enough to teleport away but as she was there was no dodging the avalanche that fell down upon them pulling a shrill scream from the now buried senshi.

Yet again snow managed to find its way down her backside. “Son-of-a…. Mother…mmmm.” Her lips pursed into a dangerously thin line as she literally fought to keep from finishing either sentence. “Zink!?!”

Not even bothering to dust the snow off her clothes Meridiana clumsily made her way over to the General King, who had shielded himself with the use of his coat, and brought her leg back to kick him where the sun don't shine for that stunt he had pulled.
~~~
He swung an arm down, shedding snow the whole way, laughing and blocked her, thudding his forearm into the side of her leg and turning the direction of it.
“Sometimes, you have to be aware that your enemy is willing to take damage, to do you damage in turn.”
“And, I didn’t teleport, happy?”
~~~

After having been thrown off balance in such a way, Meridiana’s other foot slipped out from under her causing her arms to flail wildly before collapsing in a heap on the uneven mounds of snow. Ow… She groaned while staring up at fluffy clouds that mirrored her temporary bed.

“No, not really.” It meant he still had all of them available to use, which to be honest, though she had no intention of admitting it outloud, Meridiana really had no idea how many a captain or general were actually limited to. Hell it could be ten for all she knew and Zinkenite would get away with it and she would be none the wiser.

Glancing over at the General King, Meridiana couldn’t help but feel taken aback for a moment. His cheeks were stained pink by Jack Frost's wintery kiss but that wasn’t really what caused her to calm down. Rather it was his laughter and that smile, it wasn’t fair. When she had hit the ground, she had assumed Zink was laughing at her expense but now that she actually watched him shaking the snow off his head and coat, she had a feeling it was more so that he was actually just having fun. How could she truly be mad at him for that?

Tired of lying prone on her frozen bed Meridiana rolled over onto her side. Hands, already numb from all the snowballs she had thrown at him, sunk several inches beneath the snow. By this point the cold didn’t even phase her since almost all the feeling had left her fingers probably a good ten minutes ago. However, with her gaze cast downward a smile spread across her face when she felt something that was neither soft nor flat but hopefully had enough reach.

“You have been a fountain of knowledge my King.” She said almost mockingly. “So, perhaps it is my turn to share a bit of advice.”

In a similar fashion as before she scooped a handful of snow and tossed it in the air, not really at him but more like a flurry between them. Her other hand closed around the object and with a slight tug as she lunged towards him, the senshi swung the fallen tree branch that had snapped under the weight of the cascade that had fallen on top of them, aiming for his legs. And if that failed to work she had every intention to tackle him to the ground.
~~~
It might take a moment to realize that there was something too perfect in her attack. Everything, went beautifully, too much so perhaps given his rank, and his experience. Her leg caught at his, she swung snow to his face and it connected with collar and ground into his face as they tipped towards the ground.
And then… there was a flurry. Of motion, tip over teacups and yes, they both landed in the snow, but he was face up, and she, hand been quite neatly flipped over his shoulder, so she’d land face down.
“SO….. did I cover, being careful when your enemy has a significant difference in strength?” He said casually.
~~~

“I hate you right now…” Meridiana muttered into the snow, her tone sounding more defeated than actually angry. It took several moments for her to actually gather her bearings after just having been unceremoniously tossed over his shoulder as if she was nothing more than a waiters cleaning rag after they had just finished bussing a table. “I get it, everyone is stronger than I am.” She did yoga for goodness sake, not weight lifting; toned yet flexible that was her goal. Not some muscle builder, that just didn’t appeal to her at all.

Not quite trusting herself to stand up, the Senshi instead rolled over so her side was against Zink’s and his arm was beneath her “Don’t even think about bench pressing me off you to prove your point…” With an almost mischievous grin she reached over to scoop a pile of snow onto his face. “What I was going to say though, as my piece of advice was that hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn. You’d be wise to keep that in mind!” Oh, in time she would get him back for this.
~~~
He looked thoughtful. “Well, were I not primarily interested in men, I think I might worry about that more.” He teased.
“Is it still a bench press… if I use one hand?” He quirked an eyebrow at her, and then vanished.
~~~

“Ooff..” There was no preparing herself for the second face plant as she fell through the area his body had been. Figures he would pull that now, he could have simply teleported when she lunged at him but no why do that when this would be far more amusing?

At this point the coat she had on was doing absolutely nothing for her. It was soaked through and through since it wasn’t waterproof it felt heavy to wear. Her limbs were so cold that she wasn’t entirely sure she could push herself up at the moment despite all the moving around.

“I’d be impressed if you could do that while not powered up, but as you are…” She rolled her eyes. “That’s just being a show-off”
~~~
“Well, the day I can teleport while still in civilian attire, I will be sure to demonstrate for you.” He quipped, from higher up.
“Besides, that’s not showing off, this is showing off.” He said and leaned his shoulder against the tree, that he was standing in.
“If, you want to concede this particular fight, I’ll celebrate my victory with a hot chai, and you telling me a story. How does that sound?”
~~~

“Ok… I concede. You win this round. Though, I’m not sure I really have anything interesting worth sharing.” Meridiana held her hand out lazily hoping he would at least help her up. “Can I at least borrow your coat until we get to my car please?”
~~~
He pulled down his mask then, a soft expression on his face, a small smile, and nodded.
He vanished once more and appeared a few feet away from her, carefully watching her as he undid his coat and then slid it free, holding it out to her.
“It was a good start. We’ll get you there, I think you’ll very likely prefer my exercises with chalk, though I think I’ll probably give you an oversized shirt for that.”
“Maybe, if you do well enough, I’ll let you see me training with the generals. I have faults of my own.”
~~~

While he took his coat off she shed her own and just set it on the ground for a moment. “Thank you,” Meridiana’s eyes were cast downward as she accepted the coat and shrugged it on. Due to their height difference she was literally swimming in the fabric; the hem, of which, actually touched the ground around her feet.

“I’m honestly surprised you’re not making it mandatory that I show up to watch.” Rather it sounded like it was more of a privilege to see. “It’s probably best I don’t though. Contrary to what you might think after this little training session of yours, I’d rather not watch you actually get hurt.”

For the time being nothing more was said on the topic as they walked back to where she had parked. As he had instructed earlier, Meridiana removed her boots and handed Zinkenite back his coat before powering down and putting her shoes back on and climbing into the car.

My turn to tell a story hmm? She turned the key in the ignition and was actually somewhat pleased that when the heater kicked on it was still mildly warm, well at least warmer than she was. I have no idea what to say… Hopefully he would give her some ideas to work with before they reached the cafe.

So much fun xD
