Collectible card games are life for Jamie. He is always interested in the newest boosters, and is not limited to just one collection. If there is a card game out there that he is not aware of, he does his best to find it and at least learn how to play the basics. Still, his favorite part about cards is not the games themselves, though playing with others is always fun and he frequents the game shops around town to do so, but rather the collecting. He is fastidious in his collections, keeping them organized and numbered, sorted and with sets separated from repeats. Trading is a massive draw for him, and he is always interested in striking up a deal, even across genres. He has a list of his collections on his phone, along with a few card-themed app games. Lately, he’s been looking into trying to make a game of his own.

Jamie has always been interested in the Paranormal, from when he was a much younger child and through his high school years. Now that he is in college, he is taking the opportunity to explore the topic further, taking classes that seem to have focuses in it and finding fellow ghost-friends in campus groups and clubs. He loves to watch the ghost hunting shows on TV, though he finds them a little too staged and longs for a time when he can experience something truly paranormal. Spooky things are his favorite, and he is drawn to abandon places and spooky areas around town, sometimes following strange newspaper stories and hoping to find something paranormal at their roots. As it turns out, there is a lot of unexplained stuff going on here in Destiny City, and thus he is always kept interested and searching.

Try Everything!
Not afraid to try anything new at least once, Jamie has a thirst for experiencing everything there is to offer around him. His adventurous tastes are not just limited to actual experiences, like opting to join a late night hike or enjoying a dare to skinny dip, but to trying new foods and even listening to music, reading books, and watching television recommended by friends, family, and random strangers he bumps into in the streets. He is curious and excited, making him a fun person to fan-flail at. He is always willing to listen, after all, and basks in the happiness others feel in their favorite things.
Just Keep Swimming
Willing to do what is necessary, Jamie puts others and his responsibilities before himself more time than not. He is a very dutiful worker and member of clubs at school, often taking up the tasks that others do not want to do. Either they’re tedious, messy, or just stressful: if it is something Jamie can help out with, then he’ll take the hit for the team. He is very hard to get down, his philosophy in life telling him to just keep doing his best, and the good will follow. Even when things look their worst, he is sure that if he can just keep moving forward, he’ll get past the bad, the difficult, and the gross.

Flighty, inconsistent interests, and a generally hard to understand thought pattern make trying to anticipate Jamie’s actions incredibly difficult. He can easily be seen as an oddball, and is not unused to being ignored or looked over when it comes to the general public. People do not tend to like what they don’t understand, and he is certainly a difficult one to really figure out. Because he is so eager to share in everything, experience everything, it’s hard to know what he actually likes, and how sincere he is with his enthusiasm. He is also prone to suddenly changing his mind about activities and interests, which can derail an encounter with a friend or associate. Terrible at planning things, and following through with said plans, Jamie can feel like a time bomb that may contain fire or confetti. He simply chalks it up to a short attention span.
Out There
Jamie is not wholly oblivious to how the way he lives his life might alienate people. In fact, sometimes he feels very much alone, and wonders if this is how things are supposed to be. When he gets in funks like this, it is hard for him to shake himself out of it, even with his usual mantras of ‘just keep swimming’ and ‘try everything’. Instead, he will try to hyper focus on one project, and become so absorbed in it that it may border on obsessive. All of a sudden, for a few days at least, Mr. Always Everywhere is unreachable, which disrupts whatever activities that may unfortunately coincide with these episodes of doubt. He does not want to burden anyone with his thoughts, though, and rarely offers an explanation for his disappearances or his distraction.
