Swimming - If he could live in the water, he would. Llyr is a creature made for the oceans, rivers and streams and would spend most of his time there if given the chance. When he's not in in class, he's generally either at home or at the local pool in his complex, lazing away his time in the water. He was in the swim team in both middle and high school (500 backstroke was his strength) and now swims for his university team as well.
Sleeping - Sleeping is a habit for Llyr in that he does it constantly, all the time, anywhere and everywhere. If there's a nook or a cranny where he can curl up or a wall he can lean against, he's going to be trying to take a nap. He's one of those annoying people who constantly wakes up refreshed and wide awake no matter how much or how little sleep he gets; the sort of person you just want to pinch because you yourself are the bride of Frankenstein in the mornings.
Art - A fine arts major with an emphasis in watercolors (naturally), Llyr takes great pleasure and comfort in expressing himself through art. He started out with crayons as a child, then those plastic, rainbow watercolor sets every first grader gets, and eventually graduated to actual watercolors. Although he is profoundly disinterested in fame or fortune, his work has been featured in several galleries throughout Destiny City.
Virtues:
Gregarious - He loves people. He loves the noise, the chaos, the laughter, the words of being around people. He's neither loud nor pushy himself; he's extremely content to make someone else do the introductions. But he will happily sit among a group of people and spend an inordinate amount of time just absorbing the presence of others and let it wash over him.
Kindhearted - He is as quiet and gentle as they come; the type of person who would sacrifice their own self in order to make someone else happy. He cares very deeply and very strongly, and will do a great deal to keep the spirits up of those around him. A genuinely loving and good hearted person.
Mild-mannered - Like a duck that water rolls right off of. It's very, very hard to get Llyrendil riled up. He doesn't react to accusations, insinuations, or arguments the way people want. He barely acknowledges when there are attempts at getting him worked up. Everything for Llyr just slides right off; he doesn't have a temper and rarely gets legitimately angry.
Flaws:
Naive - Llyr is the sort of person who keeps himself deliberately ignorant of the negativities or "badness" of the world. He doesn't want to know about anything that could ruin his view of people or things, doesn't want to face all of the wrongness. He doesn't like people breaking that part of his spirit, and so he simply cuts himself off and away from it all. It's a deliberate naivete, but it's also due to fear and anxiety.
Fragile - His heart is easily swayed and easily broken. Llyrendil is the sort that loves very deeply and very fully and this means he is easily let down and easily disappointed. He keeps himself separate from people for this exact reason, but it doesn't always work; he is not the sort of person to handle this sort of thing well, whatever the case may be.
Uncommunicative - In spite of his attempts at remaining neutral, whenever Llyr is faced with something he doesn't like, he immediately shuts down. He is not the clearest on a normal day, sometimes lapsing into periods of aggravating silence or frustrating, muddled thoughts, but add to that any sort of negativity, and Llyr immediately clams up. He dislikes having to face his emotions, so instead he pretends they don't exist.
