Day #3Theme: Penguin Comments: Himari from Mawaru Penguindrum Concept sketches I did while watching the anime to chose what pose I wanted to draw, picked a pose, flushed it out a bit more, then used my sketches and a screenie from the show to make the final piece. I did a lot of under sketching on the final and still had to make a lot of adjustments when doing the final pencil work ><;

Day #5Theme: Steampunk, ShadowsComments: I wanted to clean this up and finish it in marker, but I'm not feeling well tonight so I'll skip it Took a while to find the pose I liked, then more time to research the clothes x.x; (pose inspiration can be found here btw) OC named Samuel Shadows (that was more coincidence, not really trying to fit in with the theme on that one) My head: draw sam in steampunk Me: wait, what? why? Day #7Theme: zendoodle Comments: I felt really burned after working longer than usual yesterday so I tried something relaxing.... this wasn't actually relaxing also don't doodle in pencil it smudges a lot and it's hard to get thicker lines with a mechanical pencil sweatdrop

Day #8Theme: Splash of Color Comments: Shading hair is a pain in my bum. idk how long I spent shading this guy's hair today. Then I made it rainbow. I also just got word that I have another portrait to get done by the end of this week on top of finishing this one and the other one I was about to start. Crunch time?

Day #12Theme: Spirit Challenge (Part 1) Comments: Dress up Kitteh! (click the images to get their full sized versions) So, who needs toes anyways, am I right? Kitteh tends to not like pants....or bras sweatdrop Unless they're comfy baggy pajama pants or palazzo pants (the pants with the really loose legs that tend to look like a skirt at first). Short shorts are also fine, and jeans are sometimes ok if they're sexy. She tends to wear really long shirts to get away with her lack of pants. Likes off the shoulder tops and tanks. Does not like shirts where the collar is too close to her neck, though turtle necks are ok. Also sexy outfits are good~ And she likes kigurumis~ .....or just dress her in whatever sweatdrop

Day #13Theme: Spirit Challenge (Part 2) Comments: So....I had taco bell for breakfast/lunch and I realized that was a bad idea after I felt like I had poisoned myself ><; I might do more of these cuz I wanted to do several but I managed to squeeze these 3 out and idk if I can manage any more sweatdrop

Day #14Theme: medium: acrylic Comments: So I have this book on colors, and it has a bunch of different exercises to kinda loosen up and to teach you, like, not just colors but kinda gives you a better idea of them? Hard to explain. Anyways, these are two of the exercises from the book. The first one I...errr....well I couldn't do the palette knife right and it got really muddy and I got really mad and then just shoved my hand into the mountain of wet paint and smeared it everywhere and oh boy my husband was NOT HAPPY and he told me to clean up and chill out....so then I tried again and it's....ok? idk the next one....omg so mix a color, apply it, take the paint you just mixed and add something else, apply it, continue for idk how long this took but by the end of it I went through about 10 paper plates I used as mixing palettes, a whole bunch of paper towels, there was paint all over the place, my hands were covered, I have some on my forehead somehow? and I'm kinda sweaty (I'm sorry tmi) but I'm so glad hubby told me it was 11:40 when I finished or else I would have missed the deadline sweatdrop
