Winter Moon by Dean Koontz is our book of horror this month. Here is where it shall be discussed.
To tell me, was it terribly terrifying?

MayLafay Just got it.... In the process of reading. I think I go with the alternate.... That scary, huh? I'm still waiting on my copy. But when I get it, I know I'm going to read the whole thing. I don't have a lot of experience with horror, so it should be good for me. 3nodding

If you're having a hard time finding the book, you might want to try a used bookstore. There were several copies of Winter Moon at my used bookstore. 3nodding

I visited Three Libraries. I requested it at the first and found it at the third. When I finish it she's throwing it out because it's falling apart. She had to tape it up for me so it would make it out the door. I also checked out many more books. I'm going to have to stay away from Gaia so I can read them wink Should we post while reading the book or after reading the book?

Ok I'm in Chapter 10 and I think it's gotten to the point where I won't be able to read it at night wink I'm still wondering how the two story lines will come together. Right now Montana is freaking me out and the only thing horror about LA is that it could actually happen like that. Stupid LA people domokun I would have shot the kids domokun

All right I finished the book last night. After chapter 13 it gets pretty intense and your always waiting for when the event is going to manifest itself. I thought the little boy was very brave. I still wonder though if the thing could control animals why it wasn't controlling the dog? Was it just that intent on getting to the people?
