You're out and about doing whatever it is you've got on your agenda for the day when you just so happen to spot a dark patch of color among the snow that lines the side of path you're on. Upon closer inspection, it's a leather wallet, stained from the dampness of the snow. Peeking inside, you find two things: one, a crumpled list of people's first names with random objects scribbled next to them and a collection of dollar bills. A lot of dollar bills. In fact, at first glance, it looks to be well over two hundred dollars.
There are no other items in the wallet - no identification, no credit cards, nothing to help you identify the wallet's owner, just a shopping list and a wad of money. Looking around the area, it's clear that nobody else is around.
What do you do?

Kathryn had been keeping mostly to herself over the holidays. Her parents had both been adamant that their only child accompany them on their winter vacation plans but Kathryn had been unable to secure the time away from her job at the library. Unofficially she was unconcerned about heading out of Destiny City over the winter break but she was careful to keep her 'not disappointed' facade up around her parents. It would do no good to guilt them into changing their plans and staying home when tickets had already been purchased and hotel arrangements made.
With a quiet sigh Kathryn exited the library and started on her way to the closest little tea shop. She was going to grab a bite to eat before catching one of the later available buses home. It was not that she cared to go home to an empty house; no more like it was she wanted to just take in the magical atmosphere that was Destiny City in the winter time. She had already heard a few overheard conversations about strange incidences going on and while she had no desire to power up into Page Irkalla, she had secretly been carrying around the string of ornaments the whole Christmas break. Wrinkling her nose at the thought of needing to power up to save some unfortunate was not high on the list of things to do over Christmas but if it needed to be done she would not shirk her duty.
Pausing as she took in the light snow that began to fall Kathryn yanked up the hood on her jacket before catching sight of a strange dark stain on the ground before her. Ever curious she moved closer to the object and started when she realized that some poor unfortunate soul had lost their wallet. Well there was only one right thing to do and so Kathryn picked up the wallet and began riffling through the contents, looking to find any sort of ID that would make returning the wallet to the right person much much easier. A frown crossed her face as she could not find any sort of credit cards or photo id in the wallet. All that she had managed to pull out was a list of first names and what looked like gift ideas and a wad of cash. Sighing softly Kathryn pondered her quandary. She could take the wallet to the nearest police station but what could they do with a wallet with no identification?
The only logical idea was the right one and although Kathryn knew this in her heart she pocketed the wallet in order to do some research on the names. Perhaps there was something on the list that could point her in the right direction of an owner. If nothing could be found out via research Kathryn would take the wallet down to the police station on the next available day that she had off and explain her plight to the officers. For now though she would keep the wallet safe.
