Getting free Hot Chocolate from that new food truck seemed like a great idea at the time, and the blue sprinkles on top was just the cutest touch!
A few hours later though, you just can’t seem to get warm. Nothing helps. Not a bath, not wrapping in ten blankets and not sitting in front of an open fire. Your skin begins to turn a pale blue starting at your fingertips, and if you were warm enough to remove your socks, you’d see your toes were doing the same thing. As the minutes wear on you begin to sneeze small bunches of snowflakes as the icy blue continues to take over your skin. Perhaps it is a good idea to just go to bed and pile on the blankets.
The cold lasts for about six hours, and the blueish tint fades after you again get warm. Maybe you should think twice the next time someone offers you something for free…

Aislyn wasn't exactly one for sweet, but it was cold enough, and dealing with those little ice goblins, whatever they were, had just left her grumpy enough that she wanted something sweet. Yeah that was yesterday, but today she was still salty about all the poking and prodding. She was going to go get herself something, maybe a new pair of slippers, or something, to lift her spirits. Sense she had become a senshi she felt like she hadent been focused as much on dance, which was understandable, but it was her passion.
She was wrapped in approximately a billion layers. Shirt, comfy sweater, thick jacket, scarf tucked into the jacket, a second scarf wrapped high around her neck so it even covered her mouth, another scarf used to tie up the mounds of lilac curls, leggings, jeans, leg warmers over those, knee high boots, gloves.
She would NOT be cold today, so help her god. Which was probably why, when the alluring scent of hot chocolate hit her nose, she paused, even though she was really more of a coffee girl.
Something about hot chocolate was nostalgic, taking her back to when her dad would make it for her before school as a little girl, and comforting. It was normal. She could do with a dose of normal. So with only a moment's hesitation, she headed to the little food truck, set up with its sandwich boards advertising that they were new. And a special promotion for today, the hot chocolate was free! That would certainly explain the crowd. She considered just going to her normal spot down the street, sure, this time of year and time of day it was probably just as busy, but at least it would be inside and heated….
But her many many layers were doing their job, and she wasnt shivering, in fact that only thing that was cold was her nose and her fingertips, so all in all she was doing pretty good. She joined the crowd and watch several people walk away with little cups of cocoa, whipped topping covered with charming little blue sprinkles. They looked almost like ice, and it was absolutely adorable. Not exactly her style, but she could appreciate it none the less. Attention to detail and aesthetic were always something that could be appreciated.
She blinked lavender eyes at the people around her, there didnt seem to be any clear line, so she just kind of kept shuffling forward into the crowd. Someone far more impatient that herself bumped into the back of her, causing her to bump a young woman infront of her. She turned and glared at the teenage boy who… apparently saw death in her eyes, because she apologised and sort of... left, cocoa forgotten. Aislyn turned back to the young girl infront of her “ Sorry about that, somone jarred me. Are you alright? “
Ash really was not one for small talk, she was rather serious girl, but if nothing else she was polite, and she really did feel bad about basically body checking a complete stranger who just wanted a sweet drink,
