At some point, you notice a present nestled somewhere in your house that you've never seen before. Maybe it's somewhere obvious, maybe it's sitting on a window sill or hidden in the back of your closet. It's decorated very festively, with a cursive script letting you know that the present's owner is none other than yourself but there's no sender listed on the tag. Who in the world could have put it there?
Opening the present reveals an item that you've sorely wanted for some time now but haven't been able to afford or haven't allowed yourself the pleasure of buying. The trouble is that you've never told a soul about wanting it.
Who could have known? And how did it get there?

Vivi had just been cleaning her room, and taking the trash out from it when she noticed by her desk, a very nice present. It was neat, medium sized and wrapped very retro, as if someone was watching those old fifty shows to learn to wrap. and she really did like it, but that was an odd place for a christmas gift to be, and it was after christmas after all. Maybe it was froma relative? Maybe her parents just forgot? She grabbed the present off her desk, deciding to ask her mother first. "Mom? Did you or dad find a present you got me and just forgot to put it under the tree? And then left it on my desk?" Her mother looked up from her reading, frowning. "I don't think we forgot any gifts, you'll have to ask dad, that's very cute wrapping though!" She thanked her mom, deciding to just ask her dad later, since he was out running some errands and getting rid of their recent christmas tree. She text Glen and George if they had gotten it, who both responded no, Glen asking if there was anything weird about it. She didn't answer, because it wasn't really weird, but it had just appeared from nowhere it looked like, but she didn't want to believe it was bad or anything. And anyway, what did Glen know? Did he think some weird guy got it for her? Well, she ended up putting it back on her desk, just staring it, though she did end up sleeping for a bit. She woke up later that evening, to dinner having just finished and ready to go, which meant her dad was home, and so that made it a very good time to ask.
She waited until after dinner, when she was helping her dad clean up, when she asked. He looked just as confused as her mom. "No? Neither of the boys got it for you? " She shook her head, thoughtful. She quickly finished up helping, returining to her room. She looked around quickly, making sure nothing had changed near the present, and sighing in relief when everything was the same. Well, she guessed she might as well open it. She sat down, carefully unwrapping her gift, gasping when she finally cleared away the paper. It was....it was a book on interfering and hijacking radio signals. She hid it quickly, shocked anyone could get such a book, let alone give it to her willingly. And how did anyone even know she began looking into that? Or that she was even interested? It was all very odd, since she knew she hadn't mentioned it to anyone, had never mentioned that to anyone. She gently pulled the book back out, looking for a note to indicate maybe a hint of the givers identity, but found nothing. Damn, maybe this was bad. She'd maybe need to talk to glen later about this, since that was strange he'd ask that question to begin with.
Vivi didn't sleep easy that night, she wasn't happy with the gift at all.
