A close friend or loved one makes a gift of a fuzzy, oversized sweater that they say they've purchased from one of the local merchants. It's not exactly attractive looking but they seem unfortunately very proud of the purchase so you dutifully at least try it on. This proves to be a poor decision on your part as you soon realize that you're unable to remove the fuzzy monstrosity. Even worse, every word that comes out of your mouth... comes out in song! What the heck?

There's some mischievous magic afoot here but as hard as you try to tug it off or stop breaking into song, you're unable to remove the sweater for one full day and any word out of your mouth happens to have a cheerful tune to it.

Hope you didn't have any major plans for the day!

Today was one of those rare days for Lulu when she was spending time with her family. The best thing about it though? Her grandparents weren't around, they had taken a small trip just the two of them. It wasn't that she didn't like them, but they didn't really like her. It was just going to be her father and brother in that big house.

When she arrived she still rang the doorbell and waited for her father to let her in. Even though it was the home she grew up in, she didn't feel like it was a place she could just enter on her own. He was obviously happy to see her and wrapped her up in a big hug. Not far behind him she could hear running feet and after her father let go he was replaced by her little brother.

"Oh man, you're squeezing me too hard there. Ugggh." Lulu was exaggerating of course, but she squeezed him just as hard and ruffled his hair before his giggled and let go. "I brought cookies!" She pulled a tin out of the bag she had over his shoulder and handed it over. "Yay! Cookies!" She stepped inside as Heath ran off toward the kitchen with the cookie tin.

"Merry Christmas, Dad." She gave him another hug as he returned the sentiment and they both headed into the kitchen as she shedded her coat and hung it by the door. Heath had already pulled out three festive glasses and was pouring milk for them all. "Wait here!" He chripped as he pulled out a chair for her and she sat down. "Oh, and close your eyes!" Lulu could only smile and down along. Before long she could hear him return to the kitchen and then a present was placed in her lap.

"Open it, open it!" "Okay, okay~" And so she tore into the wrapping paper, she could tell he had wrapped it himself, and when she opened the box inside was a sweater. Not exactly what she had expected, but Heath seemed so proud of it. "We were out shopping and he insisted it was something you needed." Her father explained, he gave her a look like 'Just roll with it' and she laughed.

"It's perfect, thanks Heath." She wished she had brought more than just cookies over now, but it wasn't Christmas just yet and all of Heath's presents were still wrapped under her tree. "Try it on, try it on!" Apparently Heath was in that stage where he just had to say everything twice to get his point across. He was bouncing up and down, unable to hide the fact that he was so proud of his present for his big sister. Shepulled it out of the box then and realized it was quite big for her, but then again she liked to wear bagging clothes. Dress for comfort, not fashion was a motto she lived by. She had a cardigan on that she pulled off and then pulled the sweater on over her shirt.

"Oh~ It's soo comfy and waarm~" A hand came up quickly to cover her mouth. Why the heck did she just sing? Heath just laughed, but her father looked at her with some concern. "I just felt like singing~" And it happened again, causing her brother to laugh even more and at least now he father just thought it was some sort of game. She let out some nervous laughter as well, and even that had a cheerful tune to it. Leave it to her brother to stumble across of magical sweater in a store and think to give it to her. She tried to pull it off then, but it wouldn't budge.

"E-excuse me for a moment!~" It was still in song as she headed to the bathroom where and epic battle ensued in an attempt to remove the sweater. Some sing-songy curses left her lips as the struggle went on. Eventually she gave up, exhausted form the effort. She was stuck with it for now and she had just gotten to her parent's house, it would be weird if she left now. She needed to come up with some sort of excuse to sing her way through the rest of the day.

And that was how she ended up spending the rest of the day caroling with her brother and father. Next to the huge Christmas Tree in their living room. She had pulled up a Christmas karaoke video on the laptop and they were making their way through countless Christmas classics. At least Heath was having a good time and even after she left they didn't seem too suspicious with her singing goodbyes.
