If the flowers are not kept in freezing temperatures, they melt, but for the duration of their lifespan they are beautiful, fragile things. In such a busy metropolis, isn't it nice to take a moment to take a moment and appreciate nature? Even if there does seem to be something a little magical about this?

It was cold - freezing really. Normally Alexandre wouldn't be out in this cold, the snow had been heavy when they'd left the house, but they had needed to go out. They had to walk the dogs, they couldn't get out into the backyard as there was too much snow piled up outside the backdoor and it wouldn't open. So that meant a proper dog walk, much to his dislike, but with Cadha covered up in something warm, and little booties on his feet, Alexandre was willing to brave the snow for the sake of their dogs bladders....and his carpeting.
With the snowfall having stopped a few minuets ago and the sky clearing he let out a sigh of relief, as he turned to Aiden. "Looks like it'll be an easier walk home." Which was good. The wind and the snow had been tugging at his coat, his hair, and it had been a mess. Winter was pretty, he'd painted pictures of the winter here in this city, but it was also brutal. Nature had a way of being both beautiful, breathtakingly so, but also brutal and violent. At the same time.
Shivering he ducked his head down into his scarf, blowing down his coat to warm himself a bit more. "I can't wait till we get home though. We can get something warm to drink and maybe put the fireplace to use?" It was a nice idea. Maybe even bring some bedding down into the living room and just sleep on the couch? it was wide enough to allow them to sleep together there without difficulty - thankfully.
It would be warm that way, a fireplace but lots of warm bedding and a warm body, and Alexandre was small and got cold easily as he had little body fat to insulate himself with. He tended to get cold easily, have a hard time getting warm, and he tended to suck up whatever heat he could from other people and things. So all those things combined would make for a very nice and warm Alexandre. It was a nice idea - a perfect idea.
