General Summon info:
-You must be at least C rank to learn kuchiyose no jutsu
-Kuchiyose no jutsu can be trained from E to SS, but you may only summon creatures of your kuchiyose no jutsu rank and lower.
-custom Summon creatures must be approved
-You do not have access to creatures which know sage mode through normal training. You must complete a certain event in character for this. You may still sign a contract with Frogs, Snakes, etc. but cannot summon sages of those animals.
-for techniques involving summons, such as toad mouth bind, they must be learned separately. You must already be able to summon the appropriate type of creature to learn them. You don’t need to worry about ranking up your kuchiyose though, as long as the summons are just used as a ninjutsu.
- You may only sign one summoning scroll, unless you are strictly a summoning specialist
- No custom summonings can be too similar to one another
--- Summonings were unique in canon for the most part, however multiple people may be able to access the scroll in some cases
- If someone has a summoning you want, you may apply if there are slots available for it/contact the creator (of custom)
Creating Summons:
-Create a weak SS rank cluster. Unlike normal clusters, your summon cluster techniques need not relate to each other. Each summon will get a cluster equal to its rank, which will be a subset of the SS rank cluster. E rank summons get 1 E rank technique from that cluster. 2 Rank summons get 2 techniques of ranks D or E from that cluster.
-Create as many summons as you like from subsets of this SS rank cluster, though you may only have 1 SS ranked summon living at a time.
-summons remain active for a number of posts based on their rank:
E - 30
D - 20
C - 16
B - 12
A- 8
S - 5
SS- 2
Each summon will be ranked, yes. So if your Kuchiyose no jutsu is C rank, you can’t summon an A ranked summon… I’d put moves like toad mouth bind separately since they would have to be learned separately anyway. I’d treat them as a normal technique with a prerequisite of knowing kuchiyose no jutsu and having the appropriate summon.
Using Summons:
-The total amount of summons you can have active at once is equal in point value to your kuchiyose no jutsu rank. So, if your kuchiyose no jutsu rank is C, you can have 4 points worth of summons. That means 1 C summon, 2 D summons, 4 E summons, or 1 D and 2 E summons.
