 Sui held a large purple kidden plushie to his chest that he had won at the winter festival playing a game of "No I don't want to build a snowman" Where he had to hit white balloons with a dart in order to pop the figure that kinda looked like a snowman. He really didn't understand the game, since he saw nothing wrong with building a snowman unless you were worried about getting your hands cold, which he supposed was reasonable. Then again he had lots of fur to keep him warm, he considered giving the plushie to Ten or Avalon but did they like plushies? They didn't have any infants or freshlings to give toys to and with the holiday season Sui's mind wandered to the thought of imbuing stones with his new family. Would Ten want to?

Avalon had wanted to go to the festival, he really did. But somehow, he ended up not attending. He was pretty sure that Ten had gone though. He wandered out of the woods and meandered towards the academy, thinking about how much fun it could have been. Did Sabera and Felix go? Did Sui? He had a hard time imagining the shade going, but at the same time, the idea of Sui going was really cute.

Sui had been hoping to see Avalon at the festival and was a little disappointed that he hadn't run into anyone he knew at the festival, but he had a little fun and got some neat stuff. So that was a plus and he had to at least try to be a little more outgoing sometimes. He made his way back to the academy to see if he could meet up with Avalon and Ten to show them the plushie he had got at the festival. He got back to his dorm room and texted Avalon with his phone. Another strange thing he was not used to living in the Below so different from the home he had grown up in.

Avalon was also not used to the idea of a phone. Ten had given him one, and one to Sui so they could all stay in contact. So when the crystal phone started to buzz, he had to figure out where he put it. Ah! There it was. He saw the text from Sui and smiled. He was already halfway to Grendel when he got the text. He replied, letting Sui know he was close, and asked if he'd like to meet for lunch. Avalon really wanted to see him since it had been a while. He wondered if he should text Ten as well.
When he got to Grendel, Avalon stood by the gate and texted Sui again to let him know he was outside.

Once Sui got the text message he hurried outside to meet Avalon he was relieved to get the message and was looking forward to spending time with Avalon and Ten if he was coming along to spend time with them as well. Sui hoped they could become a family it would be nice to have the support and comfort of both Ten and Avalon, Sui thought that Ten was very good, but Ten didn't seem to see it that way. Sui waved at Avalon as he drew closer coming out of the Gredel dorm. "Hi Avalon." He said in a soft shy tone. "Umm, I'm ready to go. Is Ten coming along?"

With a smile, Avalon reached out and wrapped his large arms around Suiravi, giving him a loving hug. "It's good to see you again." He really had missed him. "Ten? I hadn't asked him yet. I was going to ask if you would be ok with that. I didn't want to invite him if you didn't want to see him." But since Sui seemed ok with it, he removed one arm from around the shade so he could text the fallen hybrid. "I'm really glad to see you again. It's been too long. Hm. What do you want to eat? I'll have Ten meet us."

Sui smiled a shy smiled at Avalon's greeting "It's very good to see you as well, I have missed you too." He said in his soft nervous tone. Shades were not raised to be brave creatures that was the position of the Chomps. They were big and strong. Shades were little. Sui hoped Ten would agree to come. "I would like Ten to come." He thought a moment and then decided "Umm can we go to that vegan restaurant that Ten likes?" He hoped the suggestion would make Ten more comfortable so the three of them could talk and maybe Sui could ask about imbuing stones. He wondered if it was on Avalon's mind as well.

"Of course! That place is really nice." He texted Ten, asking him to join them there. "So how have you been?" Avalon tucked his phone away, keeping one arm around Sui as they started walking towards the restaurant. "Did you enjoy the solstice? Time sure seemed to be flying by lately." He found himself feeling unusually chatty today. Perhaps because he was happy. Arch had grown so tall now, and Sabera was blossoming... Ah, he loved his family. His phone vibrated, and he took a peek at it. "Ten says he'll be there right away."

Sui smiled he was glad that Avalon liked his suggestion and hope that Ten would feel comfortable with the meeting being in a place he liked. Sui smiled a little "I have been alright, I have been practicing my writing I need to sign up for more writing classes." Sui hoped to graduate sometime in the near future. "I would have rather have spent it with you and Ten, it was a little lonely, I did win a plushie, but I do not have a freshling to give it to." He said in a shy tone. "Do you like infants and freshlings?" Sui smiled and then said, "I'm glad we will be able to spend time with Ten."

"I love children." Avalon replied with a bright smile. "Have I told you before that I really want a large family?" He sort of thought he mentioned it before. Of course, he already had Felix and Sabera, and he'd basically adopted Arch. Actually, Avalon considered it as he'd adopted the imp. He loved him like one of his own. Avalon smiled a little softer. "So, more writing classes?" Now his mind was on babies. "I bet you could write some cute children's books." As they approached the restaurant, someone called out behind them. "Avalon! Sui!" Ten was rounding the corner and spotted them. He still felt... weird about being in a relationship. He honestly didn't know what they saw in him, but he was trying not to let such dark thoughts ruin the time he spent with them. "It's been a while." He fidgeted a little, looking at them before swallowing thickly. He leaned in and gave them each a kiss on the cheek.

Sui smiled at Avalon happy that he liked little ones it would be sad if they couldn't agree on imbuing at some point. Sui blushed "I'm not sure, but ok." He was a little nervous about the idea of a large family. His kind normally had small families, but he wanted Avalon to be happy and if Ten agreed to imbue with them then they would have three parents to help out. Sui nodded "Yes." Sui considered the suggestion wondering what sort of book he could write for freshlings. "Humm." He said softly.
Sui smiled in his shy sweet manner when Ten arrived and sounded rather happy to see them both it made him feel good inside. He blushed brightly when Ten kissed his cheek not expecting the gesture. "Umm, shall we go in??"

"Ten!" Avalon smiled when the fallen hybrid showed up. He smiled at the kisses before the three of them entered and were shown a place to sit. "Sui, can I tell him? Oh, please!"
"Tell me what?" Ten asked in great confusion, head cocking to the side. But Avalon's smile was so bright, he knew whatever it was would be adorable.
"Sui asked about imbuing!" Avalon blurted it out happily, grasping the shade's large hand.
"Uh... what?" Ten was in shock. He hadn't just heard that... had he? What about Sabera and Felix and that kid Avalon adopted? "Avalon... do you think we're ready for more kids?"
"YES!" He barely let Ten finish.

Sui looked hopefully at Ten "I think as a family we could handle it, well if you want to and are ok with it." Sui said in a soft tone.

Ten's green eyes were large and unsure as he looked between Sui and Avalon. He really didn't understand what they saw in him. Both of them were so nice, such kind people... GOOD people, and Avalon was a great dad, and Sui seemed like he would be too. So what did they see in him?
"I won't force you to imbue, Ten." Avalon said softly. "I know your band is starting to get popular. But I would love to have more children with you, and to include Sui in our family."
Damn it, Avalon was too kind! It was so hard to sat no. "I... guess I wouldn't mind. Maybe with you two helping, I'll be a better dad."

Sui smiled and wanted to cry as well they could be a family together, Sui had lost so many family members to fire that his heart had been hurt and frightened for a long time, then the shades and chomps had come to the below where they had a chance to be safe and start new lives. He hoped their kids would be as brave and kind as Avalon and as gentle and pretty as Ten. Sui wiped his eyes and said softly "Thank you Ten."
