Near the outskirts of the clearing is a snow covered pathway leading into the adjacent forest. Couples and clusters of friends disappear into the shaded area, their delight in the beautiful scenery loud enough for any passersby to hear. Deciding to venture in to see what the fuss is all about, you (and perhaps whoever you're with) head towards the marked path. Twenty minutes or so in and you soon realize that you must have fallen distracted at some point because the path is no longer obvious and there's neither sound nor sight of any other people around. The sun begins to set and you can swear you hear quiet whispers among the trees. You'd better find your way back somehow - and fast - before the whispers’ owners find you first.
Mira knew she'd have to patrol on the holidays, but tonight was just so cold. Being Christmas time though she probably should have expected that, she thought as she rubbed her arms. If only she had a little warmer outfit for patrol. Though that she would have to worry about later.
As she looked around she couldn't believe all the people she was seeing out in this weather. Their were couples, friends, and even families looking happy to be in the cold.
Though the closer she looked it was almost as if people were being dragged in by this one area. She could see it seemed so delightful by sound, but by look something was off. She didn't know what but her gut was saying it wasn't what it seemed.
"I better check it out just in case," she thought out loud to herself as she rushed off and quickly entered the area. She was completely unsure where it would really take her, but that was her job. She had to protect those from things that might harm them, even if it put her in dangers path.

Chambersite growled to himself. It was just TOO COLD! And yet here he was, out and about in only his uniform. While he was lucky enough to have pants, it didn't help too much since the "magic" from his "powered" form only took off the harshest parts of the weather. But he still had to freeze apparently!
Currently he was in the forest near the outskirts of the city. Someone had messaged that it might be a good spot for energy draining since it seemed quite a few people were heading in there. It sounded easy, so Chambersite jumped on the chance. Though he was now regretting it considering how cold it was.
But it didn't matter too much. Although the path seemed to have disappeared, since he could stay up in the trees, he could hope down and drain people before they knew what was happening. Which meant he had gathered quite a bit of energy! He had already attacked 5 couples and one large group of friends. It was like shooting fish in a barrel. He would have enough energy hopefully to take the next few weeks. Though he hoped to have enough for the winter months, just so he wouldn't have to go out and collect more when it was still cold.
However, he felt the faint signature of a senshi nearby and he rolled his eyes. Of course one had to be here, of course. Still though, he continued to drain his current victim, their boyfriend unconscious on the ground having been drained already.
Mira was only a few minutes in and she sensed it. A Nega was nearby she was sure of it. While she had only sensed this a few times, the last senshi she met explained to her that even the faintest feeling can be closer than you think. So with that in mind she picked up her pace and raced down the path. With each stride the signature growing and her feeling of being cold disappearing.
"i've gotta hurry," she thought to herself as she ran, who knew what they could be doing. Due to this urgency as she ran she didn't even notice the path was seeming to disappear below her feet into the snow. All she could think of was getting there before anymore harm was done.
After what felt like forever she finally got there. She saw one person on the ground, and they were beginning to drain another victim. Without even thinking for a moment she let her head take control.
"HEY YOU!" she yelled out, "Put them down." Even with no real plan she wasn't about to let them get anymore victims in while she was here.

Chambersite let out a grunt of annoyance, before letting go of the man that he had been draining, annoyed at having been interrupted, letting his victim fall hard onto the ground. If only the Senshi had taken longer! He turned to look at her, a smirk on his face. "Well, seems I'm not the only one out here. What's a little Senshi like you going to do?" Honestly he wasn't sure how powerful the Senshi was. Even if the other was a basic, and he was a lieutenant, she could still be better at fighting than he was.
"Why don't you go back? Though, it seems that the road has been disappearing anyway. Makes it really easy to just go and drain people when they all get lost in the same place." How he was going to get back himself he didn't know, he only hoped that the road would appear again. That or he could remember which was was North so he could just travel in one direction.
He summoned his "weapon" the toy turnip with some weird carved face on it, and threw it at her, not really caring if it hurt her or she caught it. "Come on Senshi, let's see if you can drive me out of here."
Mira watched as the victim hit the ground. Maybe the cold wasn't so bad since it looked like the snow luckily braced their fall. She let out a slight breath of relief and then turned back towards the problem at hand. "A lot more than you think," she replied as she got ready to go at any time she needed too. Then she heard him mention something about a disappearing path. She looked below her to see he was right. The way she came and any way out were completely gone. Looked like she was stuck here for now either way.
She quickly looked up just in time to see a turnip flying at her face. She quickly threw up her hands in front of her and braced herself. She lucky caught the thing. "that the best you got," she said as she threw it down on the ground in front of her and raced towards the nega without a second thought. She knew she needed to get a little closer before she did anything, that way it would lt would almost be a guaranteed hit.

She was confident, Chambersite gave her that at least. He dismissed his "weapon" and then summoned it once again after she had thrown it on the ground. He usually used it as distraction than anything actually dangerous, but this senshi had been too quick, and already she was on the attack!
He growled, once again throwing the turnip at her, though doubting it would do anything other than just bounce off of her. But if it hit her in the face or something, that would have been nice.
Either way, he needed to brace himself for possibly getting hit by the senshi and whatever magic they may have had. He moved to the side, hoping that the senshi wouldn't be able to turn as easily in the snow, but knew he had to brace himself for whatever may happen next.
