Quote:
At some point, you notice a present nestled somewhere in your house that you've never seen before. Maybe it's tucked under the Christmas tree, maybe it's sitting on a window sill or hidden in the back of your closet. It's decorated very festively, with a cursive script letting you know that the present's owner is none other than yourself but there's no sender listed on the tag. Who in the world could have put it there?

Opening the present reveals an item that you've sorely wanted for some time now but haven't been able to afford or haven't allowed yourself the pleasure of buying. The trouble is that you've never told a soul about wanting it.

Who could have known? And how did it get there?

One Knot Halyard was currently sitting at the kitchen table in Dallas' ranch house clad in nothing but a pair of maroon lacy bra and undies.

She was losing at poker.

Her pile of clothes sat at her feet on the floor, as she looked over her pathetic hand. The woman sighed. Dallas had something she wanted in the worst way. A 37 Pacific Seacraft sailboat he had won in a poker game off of some poor cocky sap who had underestimated the man. The man had been in tears when Dallas took him for all he had bet, and when Knot had seen the sail boat, curious about the cowboy's haul from that incredibly lucrative game, she wanted it.

But this was Dallas.

He wouldn't just give it to her. Never mind the fact he never went sailing, much less stepped foot near a pool of water deep enough to warrant such a craft. Knot let her hand of cards fall to the table as she leaned back in her chair.

"I give." She said, while she still had her under layers on. The woman reached for the mug of steaming hot Jack Daniel's Winter cider and took a swig. She put the mug down and stared at the man across the table.

"Come on, Dallas." She said, even though she knew it was futile. "You're not going to do anything with it---and it's Christmas---tis the season for giving." Though as she tried again, the woman was still racking her brain for another game she could play with the man to win the sail boat. She knew how he operated. She knew what she needed to do. She needed to stop trying to be honorable and play him at game at which he was the master and he taught her of...

What could she do though...

Dallas loved the christmas season. It was full of a bunch of idiots trying to make more cash to buy their loved ones, or themselves, expensive things. Or it was the season that people felt particularly giving. He liked playing games with those people, so it was no surprise the man had swindled himself a fancy piece of a boat.

(He had no idea what to do with it, he was a land's man, not a sailor.)

Regardless, it was a man's everything and now it was a something of Dallas's and that was good. He liked that feeling. He liked it even better when his protege, his upcomer, his favorite little minion had demanded it from him. Dallas was a fair man after all, so he told little Miss Knot the only way to get it was to do it like he had....beat him at poker. Worst for Knot though, Jimmy Wayne hardly lost at poker. He knew when to be and when to not.

His companion? Not so much. As she threw the cards down, stripped down to a nice pair, and he always knew she had a nice pair of underwear, he smirked at her.

"Sounds a lot like the last man I was playing with." He gathered cards up. "You can't win it Knot, you can't have it. Dallas Law."

But to make her feel better, "We can change the game. Anything you want. I'll give you that chance."

Knot groaned, leaning forward in her chair. Dallas Law. She was so done hearing those words. As the woman shifted though, her toe nudged her sweater that was on the floor, and it connected with something metallic. Her senshi pen.

She looked up, brows lifting at Dallas' words. "...Well, I take it back, Dallas, you are somewhat in the giving holiday spirit after all." To make an offer like that? That was pretty damn generous of the man. This was an opportunity she couldn't squander, either. Whatever she picked next, she needed it to be good. Good. Knot stared at Dallas intently, thinking. What could she play with the man that he wouldn't have the complete upper hand in. Nothing he excelled at...but it still had to be something he thought he had a chance of winning, or else he wouldn't bite.

She shifted, and her toe nudge her senshi pen again. Wait---

...Dallas Law.

Knot's eyes lit up.

The woman disappeared briefly as she ducked under the table to dig through her layers of clothing for her senshi pen. She resurfaced, and placed the maroon and black winged pen on the table to show Dallas.

"Arm wrestling." She stated. "You and Still." She smiled. "You'd outright crush me right now with those brawny arms, but I get a small strength perk when powered." That was underplaying it a bit, actually. Luckily she had never done any heavy lifting around Dallas as Still to show exactly how much of a boost she got. She used her magic around him, teleported, and star seeded people---but she had never displayed her strength.

Plus---there was one more trick up her sleeve as Stillwaterite.

"You in?"

He loved seeing her squirrelling about. She was almost done to exactly where he wanted her after all. It was only a matter of time before he'd have her on his lap and thinking about the great American again, instead of being a traitor with her russian lover.

He saw the pen come down, and then leaned back.

What a mighty fine challenge that was, now wasn't it. He was a big man, but he'd seen the way she ripped starseeds out of someone. It didn't say something strength wise for her really, just that she had magic.

but it was pretty straightforward, and Dallas Law meant honor, even if there wasn't honor among thieves. She chose the game, now it was down to luck and skill. He wasn't boasting, but he didn't think she'd win either.

"Alright kid." He tilted his head at the gift tucked away, "You win, you get the boat. I win, well..." He gave her a once up and down.

Knot smirked when he agreed.

That smirk was wiped off her face at the very obvious implication of what he wanted as his prize.

Oh.

No.

Her Russian purity was on the line.

"Deal."

It was too late to back out now. She wanted that boat, and besides, she was pretty confident she'd win---even to the point where it was probably unfair she had made this suggestion---but now with such a prize on the line, she was suddenly a wee bit worried. Knot grabbed her pen off the table, and stood, pushing her chair back. She said the words, endured the jig, and soon enough Stillwaterite was standing in her place.

The corrupt grabbed her hat and threw it to the side. She then shucked off her large red coat and black undershirt, so that she was down to her corset, stockings, garters, and boots. She held her arms out, for Dallas to inspect. "Nothing hidden." She told the man, and then pulled her chair back up, reclaiming her spot across from the man.

Still then placed her elbow on the table, hand held up, for the time honored tradition of arm wrestling to begin.

"On the count of three. You can do the countdown."

Stakes were raised, so the cowboy moved over and took his jacket off, rolling up his sleeve. Since she removed her hat, he did the same. It was interesting to see this form of her. She had lost a lot of Knot features, so much so that she looked almost unrecognizable to his eyes. The long hair, the outfit. There was a certain dark allure to her.

Plus the cracks in the forehead and the heart.

"Yo, since you are in that form darlin'...." He tapped his forehead, "What's the cracks for. Legit holes?" He wanted to know before they started. It was damn distracting when was nestled right smack dab in the middle of her breast.

Breast that were pushed up by a corset.

"Okay okay, Countdown." He felt like being fair so he went, "Three." And expected to hear the smack of her hand on the table.

"Metaphorical." Still replied. "Apparently they represent broken ties. You can't stick any fingers in them, if that's what you're wondering."

Brows lifted as Dallas just gunned it, and Still's hand went halfway towards the table top surface before she pushed back against him. Not too hard---just enough to keep him in a deadlock. A corner of her lips pulled up, amused. Leave it to Dallas to just go. Still's free hand slid behind her back, and she held her fingers outstretched.

Slowly---not too quickly, lest she draw attention to what she was doing, she started to drain the man of his energy. Slowly, so that any fatigue he'd start to feel could be attributed to being locked in an arm wrestling match with her. Behind her back, a small orb of energy started to coalesce on her fingertips. With that process starting to go, Still started to tap more into her strength, and started to push the cowboy's hand back towards the starting point.

After a few seconds, they returned to their original position---only for her to then start pushing his hand down to the table's surface.

"Wasn't interested in stickin' my fingin in darlin'." He was a bit creeped out by the idea of just jamming his finger into a hole in her head and finger. Not so creeped out about jamming something else though, but that was adult stuff and once he won, they could do it.

He did expect to win almost immediately, and was surprised to feel resistance against him. Her scrawny arm was keeping up with his and that was concerning. Real concerning.

And now he was feeling tired, like he had started taking way too many shots of whiskey. Something was going on and, in a flash his arm was turning towards her.

Dallas immediately recognized what was happening and he couldn't be prouder or more pissed at the same time.

Dallas Law.

"Clever Girl."

Still smiled at him, and decided to not prolong his suffering. With a firm and decisive action, she pushed his hand down until it gave a satisfying smack against the polished wood of the table's surface. "You went all in without knowing my hand." She said, cheerfully, as she let go of his hand.

The corrupt's other hand came around, and she produced the small orb of energy she had been siphoning off of the man. "This is your's." Her eyes creased in amusement, briefly. "If you consume it, your energy will be restored to you." And she was now the proud owner of a 37 Pacific Seacraft sailboat and she honestly couldn't be more elated.

It meant was her's and it was something to hold onto.

"I'll be taking the keys, and all the paperwork that went with it as well." She told the man.

With the final smack of defeat, Dallas sat back, removing his arm and holding his hand out for the orb. His energy huh?

He reached under the table, pulling out a box that had his cuban cigars and lighting one. There was a small intake of smoke and then a smile.

"Learned some good lessons here girlie." He couldn't believe that she was able to drain his energy and smack his hand down. She had been holding back on her capabilities.

He pointed the cigar over to his makeshift decorated christmas tree. "It's in a gift over there." He had no intention of actually giving it to her really.

Just easier to hide in plain sight, right?

"Should have your name on it kid."

Still powered down, Knot taking her place once more. Now victorious, the woman wasted no time in reclaiming her lost clothes. She pulled her leggings off the floor and slipped them back on, threw her long t-shirt back over her head, and then pulled her sweater back on as well. The woman pulled her long white tresses out of the sweater and brushed them behind her back. Finally, her senshi pen was slid back into her pocket, and the woman cocked a brow at the man's words.

At first she looked dubious. It was in a gift? Under the tree? Knot pushed off of the chair and went to the tree. She knelt, searching, before she found it, and lo and behold, within the box, were the keys to the sailboat, along with the paper work.

She was speechless for a moment, and perhaps a bit dumbfounded but...no. This was Dallas, and he had really wanted to bend her over in the worst way still. Not give her freebies.

Knot looked over her shoulder at him, and smiled. "I found it." She replied. "Right next to your disappointment that this body is still bound to the Motherland."
