Rosie's life had been a blur of wild things happening. To be honest, she was experiencing a lot of things first handed again. She could put names to the things happening, like she knew that when they all gathered for food and games, it was called thanksgiving. She just couldn't remember why or how she knew what it was. She couldn't remember any past thanksgivings.
It was very much the same for Christmas, where she had experienced a lot of the decorations and cheer that spread immediately following thanksgiving. Bright lights went up everywhere, as soon as the weather dropped in degrees. Things called fir tree's started appearing in windows and sometimes, Rosie stopped to look at them.
It was interesting to see all the things, so she had gathered books and everything to learn what it was all about and was even more pleased to know that there was something about GIVING GIFTS. and who else deserved a gift more then Penelope, her amazing general! If the spirit of christmas was giving gifts, then Omorose planned to give her general an amazing gift. So she had went shopping, and texted Pen to ask if she could come over. Even now, she had bounded happily over to the woman's place with two wrapped gifts.
One was a very much stolen winter jacket that she thought would suit the woman and the other was a surprise! Small hands came to knock on the door of Penelopes home and she excitedly bounced in her spot.

Winter was Penelope's favorite season.
There were a myriad of reasons as to why it was specifically winter that was her favorite. They ranged from enjoying the picturesque setting of snow fall outside her winter while the fire place was alit with the glow of a freshly stoke fire to the fact that it was easier to do what she was best at, earning other's attention and devotion, when she could use the excuse of winter's chill to scoot closer, to take their hand, etc.
She also enjoyed the reminiscing that often came with the hustle and bustle of holiday cheer that filled the cities. She, herself, was a practitioner of Christmas and that meant that she'd asked Alrik to help her set up a Christmas tree in the designated corner near the apartment's fireplace, opposite of where the TV tended to sit. It also meant that stockings were hung up across the fireplace's mantle.
Most notably they were for herself and Alrik, and they were empty, but there were still places for others and in this case, as her Rose was on the way, one for the senshi she'd lured into the darkness. Inside it, there were small bottles of scented lotion that Penelope preferred, a turquoise and gold bath bomb, candy, and a gift card for a local cafe. Small, almost generic things that had just enough of Pen's creative touch to make it a personal gift.
Beneath the tree were the various gifts that Pen had acquired, for her parents and her brother, and the ones she'd crafted for her subordinates as well as those that she was coaxing over to her side.
Omorose would find a neatly wrapped, complete with a carefully crafted bow, present box for her as well to be a companion to the stocking that now hung above the lit fire.
Rosie arrived just as Pen set the kettle on the burner for tea and she was greeted with that warm, perfectly crafted Penelope Rey smile. "Come in, come in, I just started some tea."

Once she was beckoned in, Rose was very polite and took her shoes off and then bounced into the home. Eyes went to explore the household cause she didn't have decorations like this set up! Came with not know how to celebrate the holiday after her corruption.
She really like how nice Penelope's house smelled. And even across her vision, she saw the stockings and the names written on them. She even saw one for herself and she got a bit giddy. Penelope had thought of her!

Penelope took note of the fact that Rose had taken her shoes off, something she appreciated given that her brother was quite horrible at making sure he took his shoes off. At the door anyway. And if she cared to, there were a pair of 'visitor' slippers she could have worn or she could have continued barefoot.
The woman's home was always immaculately clean, except when Alrik had been left alone in it too long without her.
"That's very kind of you," Pen said, gesturing towards the coffee table where a pristinely wrapped gift awaited Omorose. The wrapping was crisp, tape clearly there but barely visible and there was ribbon and bows to tie it all together.
When she opened it she'd find a set of hand knit scarf, hat, and gloves in her favorite colors.
"I have a variety, are you looking for a green, black, or herbal tea?" She asked, busying herself with collecting mugs and pulling down her favorite tea tins before she set the kettle on the stove.

The girl kept her feet PRETTY clean, she'd like to think. She had invested in things called pedicures which made her toes really pretty. NOT LIKE SHE WAS TRYING TO IMPRESS PENELOPE WITH HER TOES. She just thought when she was barefoot, it wasn't looking like a hot mess.
She wiggled them now on the carpet, excited about the whole concept of christmas. Even on the table, where she put her own presents, she dropped Penelopes.
"I HAVE ONE FOR YOU TOO!" She bounced and then impishly smiled, "One is from me and one is from surprise!" Actually to be honest, she found the other one in her house tucked away. It wasn't marked for her though, it was marked for Penelope.....
So she wondered if she maybe got a present she forgot about for the blonde?
Hmmm.....
"Do you wanna open it? Can I have some Herbal tea? Do you have peppermint? I heard that is good for the Holidays!" She moved restlessly around the kitchen, much like a hyper kitten.

Penelope's smile was polite, a warm as a manufactured one would get. "We'll open them in a minute okay?" She wanted to get the tea situated before they did any sort of activity that could be a mess if they were distracted.
"Let me get the tea ready first," she said, phrasing it in a way that allowed for potential arguing that she hoped didn't come. "I have an herbal peppermint tea." And now that she knew what kind of tea Omorose was wanting, she could fish it out of the cupboard, despite having to stretch onto her tiptoes to do so.
Next time Alrik was over, she was making help her re-arrange the kitchen so it was more friendly for her height.
"Honey?" She asked, pulling out a bottle of honey from one of the local beehives. "Or sugar? I have white and raw."

Omorose almost made a small sound of impatience but she was in the presence of her general and she should feel blessed enough to have solitary time with the woman.
After all, Penelope made 'special' time for her and that was enough to hold her over. She took a seat, politely nodding her head. "Okay." The voice came out as a squeak and she covered it, blushing. "S...Sorry!"
When she was asked about honey or sugar, her brain was still trying to recover from the fact that she had totally squeaked at her SO because she couldn't hold back the excitement of the gifts that she almost....almost shouted her response at Penelope.
Instead the corrupt tapped the table twice, "I saw this in the movie. Two spoons of sugar please Ma'am!" She smiled at Penelope.
"Sh...should I be doing anything?"

The squeak had certainly caught Pen's attention, the blonde casting an almost coy look over her shoulder as she finished tying the strings of the tea bags to the cup handles. "It's alright," she said in a reassuring tone.
The spoonful of sugar comments had her lips quirking into more of a smirk for a moment before, in a mostly in-key sing-song voice Pen went, "a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down~" The rest of the lyrics had slipped her mind so she hummed the melody instead while she fished out her sugar container and added two healthy spoonfuls to the cup.
"Just sit there and don't you worry about doing anything. The tea is almost done and then we can sit in the living room and do presents." Which, right after she finished talking, the tea kettle went off and she went to retrieve it from the burner.
Once the hot water was poured and sugar mixed, she picked both mugs up and gestured towards the couch sitting before a large TV. "Bring the gifts over to the couch, you can open yours first."

"Yes!" Omorose hummed the song too, joining her general in the song and fondly thinking of one of the few movies that her old self enjoyed. She only knew her old self did, cause there was only a small collection of films. Some of them were really boring but she liked Mary Poppins. It had been sing songy and magical!
She wouldn't tell Penelope, but she thought she was just as magical as Mrs. Poppins.
"I'll bring the presents!" Since the woman had already taken the mugs, Omorose to gather all the presents in her arms before carefully setting them down and scooting them on the couch between them.
Small hands took her mug, taking a sip before setting it where ever Penelope had the space too. With a coaster or makeshift one underneath!
Then she greedily went for her present, only pausing to look at Penelope for the okay to open it.

"You know," Pen began, taking a seat on the couch and tucking her legs beneath her. "A sequel to that movie just came out. Maybe we can go see it sometime." It was a casual suggestion, offered to make sure that Omorose knew that Penelope was 'thinking' of her and keeping her in mind for the future.
She was a master of the game after all.
Her smile was hidden behind the rim of her mug, the blonde sipping at the honey-laced tea, with the fruity-peach blend wafting it's lovely scent up to her. "Go ahead, Rosie," she encouraged, carefully lowering her cup to rest her wrists on her thighs to watch her open her gifts.

"You wanna go see a movie with me?" Rosie's hands froze on her gift, looking over at Penelope, eyes wide. "I...I WANT TOO!" This was even the best gift, the better gift. She loved Mary Poppins and she loved Penelope so seeing the two together would be amazing!
She didn't even think it was a ploy, just that Penelope wanted to spend time with her and that was more then enough for the small senshi.
She carefully unwrapped her present though, as she pulled out a soft set of gloves, hat and scarf. The color was a nice lavender, like her eyes and it was so soft to the touch....and warm!
She immediately put them on and snuggled into the scarf. "I love it!" She bounced and then opened the stocking, spilling its contents all over. Christmas was so amazing!
"Are you gonna open yours too?"

Pen found it fascinating how easily excitable Omorose was, especially compared to the girl she used to be. The memory loss was a fascinating thing when it came to dragging someone to her side, unwillingly, and it made Penelope wonder what happened when someone came of their own volition.
She'd have to take notes and compare to the ones she was keeping on Amazone when she brought someone else over. It would be Paris, hopefully. She had been working on the dear boy for some time now, surely it couldn't be too much longer.
But that was neither here nor there, as Pen's attention was wholly the young woman's.
"I made them, specifically for you," she stated, wanting Rosie to feel particularly special that her general had gone out of her way to make her gifts.
Her attention was drawn to the gift that Rosie had specifically stated she'd picked out and she began to unwrap it, eager to see the contents.

Rosie couldn't believe the care in which Penelope had given her. To make handmade gifts?
It was more then Omorose could ever ask for.
"I got two gifts!" She reminded, the first one had actually been from Rosie, it was a nice cashmere jacket in a dark blue navy color that she had swiped from a department store.
The other gift was a surprise to be honest. She had found it in her house but it had been penned to Penelope. In it well....
It was probably whatever Penelope wanted the most!
