Quote: Fresh snow has fallen over Destiny City for the third time this week; most people seem to have stayed inside today due to a particularly heavy flurry, but you find yourself outside tonight for some reason. The weather has faded, revealing a sparkling night sky. Much of the ground is covered in a crisp layer of snow--but more than that, beautiful flowers in the shape of snowflakes have sprouted in the ground. They grow in small patches and permeate a pleasant, sweet fragrance. If the flowers are not kept in freezing temperatures, they melt, but fur the duration of their lifespan they are beautiful, fragile things. In such a busy metropolis, isn't it nice to take a moment to take a moment and appreciate nature? Even if there does seem to be something a little magical about this?

Lunaria hadn't been out as her senshi form often, so it was interesting that after her walk with Stormy, the girl donned her form. She had brought a shawl just in case, but the senshi didn't think she needed it, her uniform didn't leave much to be desired as far as being dressed.
It was such a clear night that she wished to see the beautiful flowers again, especially to test more things with them. She was a flower senshi after all, perhaps she could use her own magic, if that's how it worked, to preserve the frost decorations.
Her mind was so distracted, she almost didn't feel the gloom of an aura, clearly owned to a negaverse lieutenant. She almost forgot they were even a thing really, as they never seemed to bother her much.
Green eyes scanned the flower frost field and landed on a very dashingly tall handsome blonde. Perhaps he wouldn't be the fighting type and they could just enjoy the winter beauty here.

This time of year seemed to turn everyone into sentimental idiots. Crocoite, considering himself cold blooded at best, was not a big fan of the snow and ice, the cold, and certainly not of the festivities that over took the whole town. So much red and green and tinsel everywhere, with stars and songs and everything that would make a true Grinch throw up.
Bah humbug, indeed.
Unlike the Grinch or Scrooge, however, Crocoite had no intention of learning the true meaning of Christmas. There would be no giant turkeys sent to needy families, or hearts growing three sizes. There would just be one grumpy crocodile hunting through the snow for whatever starseeds and energy he could take. And if he saw any happy Christmas movie moments going on, he would be sure to ruin them.
Sensing a senshi nearby, he followed the aura and came upon the small field of flowers that seemed to have her attention. He stood, waiting, eyes narrowing when she noticed him. It would not take any words to make his intentions clear regarding the snowflake flowers and their magically beautiful impact.
He took a heavy step forward, smashing a patch of them under his boot.

The minute she made eye contact with the man, even regardless of his handsomeness, she felt something off. He was not smiling, or even pleased or even....
He actually looked pretty upset and she wondered if it was her presence that enticed the look on his face. She almost called out that she would leave if he wanted to enjoy the flower field when he took a step forward, crushing the small flowers beneath his heel.
Her normally relaxed face fell and she looked up at him. "Don't. Why would you destroy them? They didn't do anything to you?"

Crocoite tilted his head at her.
"Did you expect them to do something to me? I destroyed them because they were ugly to me, and annoy me by being there. Whatever they are, they reek of White Moon magic, and I've no patience for such garbage."
He took another step forward, not careful of where his boot fell and staring at her as he approached. He called his cane to his hand, the crocodile headed weapon glimmering in the cold air. It was not something he needed to walk, like his brother needed his cane, but it was a strangely fitting representation of who Crocoite was, and the creature lurking in the darkness of his starseed.
"Is that what you do, then, little Senshi? Wait to fight back until someone does something to you?" He grinned, thinking that if it were the case, it would make her easy prey indeed.

She didn't even know they reeked of anything. Their scent had been pleasant and relaxing, and they had been a bright spot in this war that admittedly, she didn't play much of a part in. She was more upset because these were the same flowers she had just walked and shared with Stormy and now it felt like he was stepping all over their good memories.
She knew the nega's weapon as soon as it was summoned, but she refused to move from the spot she was at. The crocodile's head wad intimidating and scary in its own way.
But his intention, the continuing of stepping on the flowers hurt her more.
Her hand came up, as a silver disc formed.
"Lunarian Crescent Coin*"Lithiasaur Lunarian Crescent Coin Lunaria summons a small seed pod of Lunaria and touches it to her lips. It brightens and turns into a small disc shaped like a silver coin (about the size of a salad plate) and throws it forward. The disc can hit an enemy for as strong as a punch and has potential to knock them back away from her. Range: 10 feet in front of her, The disc travels a straight line and disappears upon impact.Uses: 3 Example: [HERE]

Anything upbeat and pretty, christmasy and good natured, was anathema to Crocoite. All this good spirit and magical light garbage was already wearing thin, and there were still two weeks of this stuff until the holiday was over. Not that all the decorations and happiness and drivel would go away in a hurry.
Even then, it would only move on to the next contrived thing to pretend to be happy about. Some distraction from lives most people were unhappy in, and created these holidays to help with. If they were all that unhappy with what they had, Crocoite was all too eager to help them be rid of it all.
All he really wanted for Christmas was a few starseeds.
A senshi's starseed would do very well.
When she called her attack, Crocoite rocked backwards on his heels, snarling and swinging his cane up and holding it in front of him defensively. The coin smashed against it, but he managed to defend against the magical attack just in time. He was surprised that her magic was so straight forward, and actually seemed to be a useful attack.
What he'd seen so far were just little party tricks and annoying distractions.
"By your logic," he said, with a wicked grin, "I'm free to respond. By your leave, then."
He charged, bringing his cane back like a bat and holding it there until he got close enough to swing it.

Whatever was wrong with the man, she didn't know. Her attack had been deflected away and she knew she had two more disc to throw at him. They were her only defense against the weapons that negas carried.
It was almost unfair that they got weapons and she got magic that sometimes hurt. Even more so now, his advance fully destroyed the flowers at her feet. His wicked grin was all but an invite for hurting her and as he flew towards her, she rolled to avoid getting close to him.
If he couldn't get close to her, then she couldn't get hit.
"I decline your response sir." She curtly said, "And would prefer if you took the warning and walked away."

"now why would I walk away when I can smell your fear now? You are not much of a fighter, are you? Or perhaps you just lack the confidence it takes to be truly effective in battle. That one instinct so many of you white moon lack: the instint to kill." He grinned. Merry CHristmas wasnot a phrase in his lexicon, and he hardly cared if he hurt her or even killed her, thus ruining the holiday for anyone close to her. He never thought beyond the person in front of him: to him, senshi were nothing else. Just a problem to be snuffed out, and not a life with connections and loved ones that would mourn them. Though when he did stop to consider such things, it only encouraged him to be more brutal. Grinch was not a strong enough word for him. He charged at her. Like his namesake, the crocodile, he was much more dangerous up close, and moved quickly to close the distance between him and his prey. He took a swing at her with his cane once he thought he was within reach. (sorry if it's short or weird, phone tag at work!)

Apparently this negaverse agent was about killing her tonight, and Lunaria, as much as she loved the snow blooms, was not willing to be killed.
She dodged roll again, summoning the silver disc magic and throwing it at him again, hoping that her magic hit hard enough to stun him enough for her to run away.
The last thing she needed was to get hurt in a battle that she didn't even want to fight. "Because killing is wrong, you pyscho." She needed to get away and she was not letting him get closer to her. No matter what he did to rush at her. If that meant he destroyed the field, then it was better it, then her.
But it was still heartbreaking.
"And unlike you, I don't plan to stay around here for you to try and kill me." Lithiasaur Think she's gonna ditch next post cause omg Crocoite, you come on to strong. Take a lady to dinner first, jeez

Pixie Nyxie (Hahaha sorry! He just has so much hate in him >> ) Crocoite laughed at the simple logic. Just how could someone decide what was right and wrong so easily? He knew the answer: because it suited them. It justified the white moon's 'holier than thou' attitude because they could preach that they knew where they stood. But if he kept pushing, if he kept scaring her, would that resolve waver? When did 'wrong' become okay, when one's own life was in danger? Not that he would allow her to kill him, either. Not because it was wrong, per se, but because he wanted to do the whole staying alive thing a while longer. Opening his mouth to explain his logic thus far, he was caught a little off guard as a magical attack hit him in the head. It was not a brutal blow, but it was enough to rattle his around and stunned him. He shooked his head, trying to clear it, and stumbled a bit. Instead of a monologue about how great killing was and how pathetic senshi were, he just managed to make a gutteral burble. That would at least allow her the chance she wanted to get away from him, and leave him to his pretty snowflake stomping in anger at his letting her escape. At least he could destroy the field and make himself feel a little better about the whole thing.

Lunaria, as soon as the man was off the kilter, turned on her heel and ran. There was no reason for her to stick around and leave herself open to his insane way of attacking.
She powered down once she was far enough away, and didn't bother looking back.
It was just going to remind her....the negaverse destroyed. They destroyed everything.
She sighed and headed home, perhaps to do something to take her mind off the destroyed snow field.
