Winter was settling in at the wolfpacks abode and though they weren't all together all the time, there was a definite air of christmas decorations through the house. Perhaps because Chase's household help took care of it, or perhaps because Prissy or someone snuck some in where they could?
Regan was a fan of winter, and now that she had actual family, of the holiday christmas in general. She could buy people gifts, she had her own spending money. The emotional scars left by her father remained but they were slowly being glazed over. Instead she had Silk, and she had Prissy and even sometimes Trey. She was not really alone.
Even now, she was waiting in the foyer for her pink friend, who she knew was dressing herself up to a T for their winter date. Regan had chosen a navy blue dark sweater, with a zipped up jacket with a white fur lined collar. Her normal ponytail hair was braided down her back and pinned back so it wouldn't go all over. She wore thick black fleece leggings and knee high brown boots. It was really an outfit meant for the shopping they were about to do.
She, regardless of the stoic face, was actually very excited to spend some time out in the city with Prissy. She was promised hot chocolate...perhaps sweets and other joys. She knew Prissy never disappointed.

It wasn't terribly often that Priscilla Stratford had a companion to shop with that wasn't furry little Theodore, the sweetest candy prince to ever grace her handbag. Most other women tended to be viewed as potential competition as opposed to companions and if they weren't worthy enough to be considered potential competition, generally weren't worth her time. Suri and Regan were two very different exceptions to this way of thinking, however. Suri was neither competition nor companion, in Prissy's mind. She was some outdated, fussy, one-legged prude who could cook like no one's business but could also sour a party by simply presenting her face. Regan, on the other hand, was a quiet, humble pretty thing who had absolutely no idea how gorgeous she really was -- or how to use that beauty to her advantage. Not exactly competition, definitely companion material. Which was why Prissy was putting the finishing touches on her outfit, leaving her looking an array of white and pink as she made her way down the spiral staircase and towards the girl waiting for her in the foyer. Bright, pink colored lips grew into a grin as her purse was fastened higher on her shoulder, free arm moving out to collect Regan's as the older girl ushered her towards the door. "We're going to have so much fun, you and I," she started in, barely getting in a greeting before bulldozing her way into the conversation, "Now, do you have your shopping list written out or are we playing this by ear?"

Regan always thought of the slogan for Vogue when Prissy came down. She's grace, she's beauty, she's vogue. She felt absolutely rougish to the woman but Prissy didn't often mind. She was holding up her hand as a greeting when the pink whirlwind took hold and they were bustling through doors, car doors, into cars and talking as they drove.
It was enough to make a girl spin, but Regan caught wind quick and started patting her pockets around in her jacket.
"I...I thought I had a list." Regan was pretty sure she made a list to keep herself in check, because Prissy did have a way about her and the last time they went shopping, Regan had spent a large amount of money (because Chase did keep them well financed) that she had never even imagined having.
Even now, her room was more full of things. She was not afraid to collect or have nice things. She was still humble about it, but she had nice things and it was nice.
"Did you bring a list?" Street lights passed them, and with winter causing the sun to fall at 4ish, holiday lights started to stand out the darker it got. "We could also play by ear." Regan sheepishly said.

"I have a general idea in mind~" she chimed back smugly, manicured nails curling around the steering wheel. Pedestrians and animals alike whirled by in blurs as her pink convertible (top up, of course) zoomed through the streets of Destiny City and towards the shopping district she preferred over all of the others. Prissy did have a small list, tucked away in the confines of her purse. Mostly for all the other people that didn't make the top five in her head - the important ones got priority when it came to her shopping spree, the others tending to get whatever she felt like getting them, when she even remembered to get them anything. "I figure we'll tackle the main ones first, then worry about everything else -- and cocoa in between, yeah?" Her question was more rhetorical than anything else, the car zipping into a nearby open spot and cutting off the poor person who'd attempted to signal for the almost-free spot for five minutes prior. Prissy didn't seem to pay any attention to the angry honking or the waving the driver did as they drove off, brushing her hair over her shoulder as she collected her purse before shutting the door behind her. "I could just die for a pedicure too - did you want to get your nails done for the holidays too, sweetie?" Pixie Nyxie It's beginning to look a lot like Prissmas

"Cocoa sounds good." Regan was still holding her seat when they whipped into the spot which earned some angry shouts, yells, waving and some fingers. Her eyebrow rose at them before she joined Prissy at her side.
Besides, she didn't think the pinkette would be bothered, but she didn't want someone coming for her because she was quicker. What was the saying, snooze you lose?
"Pedicure is the feet right?" A small guilty pleasure was thinking of doing something girly like that. Working on cars meant she couldn't get much with her hands done. After all nails would break within the first day.
But her toes were never used and perhaps it'd be nice to have some that were cute to look at.
"That'd be nice. I've never had one." She had seen them, escorted former friends when she had been too poor to pay, and once she lost those friends, never went back again.
"We'll have to stop to get the guardians something too...." She had no idea what to give both Silk and The Candy King. Since there was two guardian cats, both of them equally deserved gifts.
Ahh she never had so many people to plan for before.

"Yes, for the feet," she said absentmindedly as she threw open the door to the mall, pausing for a brief second to flash a pitying smile in Regan's direction before ushering the other woman inside the warm building. " Really? Never ever?" She shouldn't have been surprised, considering Regan liked to play in garages and look like some sort of grease monster instead of playing dress up but still. Who didn't ever get pedicures when they had a chance??? "We'll definitely put that on the list then." Her head shook, ashamed for her friend's behalf and the horrible upbringing she must have had to be denied such a simple pleasure. A human right, as far as Priscilla was concerned. "But presents first. And yes, something for precious Teddy and... Silk, I suppose." Her lips pursed, face looking pained at just saying his name. It was the holiday season, however, so Prissy knew she should be more generous, even if it was to overgrown furry rat-Mau. Maybe she'd get him some ugly sweater. "Where to, first?" If she cared to hear the answer it wasn't apparent, pink eyes scanning their surroundings and Prissy soon linking arms with Regan and taking off in the direction of the closest department store. It was time to shop. Pixie Nyxie Feel free to fast forward through some details, lord knows this woman could spend hours shopping LMAO cries

"It's considered a luxury from where I was before." Regan only stopped to run a hand through her hair, mussing the white bangs before catching up to the pinkette. She did smirk just a bit though, at the pained expression that Silk brought to Prissy's face.
She was now quite aware of the twos animosity, and it something she didn't plan to change or stop. After all, neither of them asked her to do so. It would be meddling either way. "I apologize though, for anything he did in the past...." Regan didn't know exactly what it was, but might as well say sorry for it. She was. Silk most certainly was not.
Shopping is exactly what they did, as Regan came out of many shops, mostly dazed and weighted down with bags of items she wasn't even sure were for her, or her friends anymore. She needed a moment to process and looked around to see a small cafe nestled in the mall, outlooking the outside with its pretty lights.
"It's snowing." She said first, as she could see some white fluffs falling from the sky. Thick but slow in its descent. She didn't think it would affect the roads but her gaze looked over to Prissy.
"Do you want some hot chocolate?" It just seemed fitting to drink it, and take a moment to sit and look out. Maybe it wasn't Prissy's speed, but maybe the pinkette would want a break too. "My treat?"
Well more Chase's treat then anything else but....

" Ugh," she moaned dramatically when the other girl pointed out the snow. As pretty as snow was, it wasn't pretty to drive through. "Maybe we'll get a Lyft back to the house - we can have one of the boys or someone come and pick up the car later, so we don't have to drive out in the snow." The sound of hot cocoa was appealing though, especially as her arms continued to get bogged down with bag after new bag full of presents in need of wrapping. Unless she could convince one of Chase's staff members to do the wrapping, she'd have to endure at least an hour of actually wrapping things herself --- and goodness knows that would take a lot of energy out of her too. "That sounds delightful, actually." Steering them both towards the cafe that Regan pointed out, Prissy made a beeline to one of the nearby booths, depositing her mountain of bags into the booth before sliding in after them. "I want mine with marshmallows!!" She called after, glancing back towards the white haired woman almost expectantly. ... because it wasn't as if Priscilla Stratford was going to stand in line unless she absolutely had to, of course.

"Could always teleport." Regan offered instead, though she didn't know what lyft was. Assumed it was similar to the uber app.
"I can grab it." She didn't really say anything else, as she joined the line for it. After 10 minutes or so, Regan returned with two hot chocolates, one with marshmallows, small pink hearts and white snow men for Prissy.
The other piled with whipped cream for herself. "I got cookies too." She offered a oatmeal and raisin one to Prissy, biting into a blue sugar icing one.
"Do you not like snow?"

While Regan waited diligently in line, Prissy occupied her time at the booth by scrolling through her favorite Instagram and Pinterest sites. She had a lot of reblogging to do if she wanted to catch up on getting followers -- she could always use those sites to purchase more but there was just such a nice feeling of collecting people without the help of Daddy's money. When the drink arrived, she was quick to snap a shot of it, adding it to her accounts before tucking her phone away. It was delicious looking... unlike the cookie that Regan so kindly had offered to her. The other girl had gotten herself an icing one --- and had the audacity to give Prissy the one with raisins in it? Didn't she know that raisins ruined everything? Despite the wrinkled nose she gave the cookie upon seeing it, Prissy decided to be the better person and begin breaking the cookie in pieces, picking out the raisins one by one and eating around the rest of it. "Thank you," she said, only a little bit forced, before glancing up at the window. "I don't mind snow - I've got plenty of cute coats and boots to wear in it. Driving in it, though, is simply atrocious. Have you ever tried??"

Regan could tell when someone's attitude changed.
It was her only way to defend against her father, the subtle changes when he would flip from okay to beating her. It was the way body changed, and expressions and how they reacted. While she had time, sometimes, to stop his assault more then he wanted....
Unlike her father though, Prissy didn't go into a wild rage. Every drop of raisin off to the side was a bitter reminder that she had done something wrong. She almost said something but there was....
She wasn't being hit and Prissy wasn't punishing her. "You like sweets." She broke off half of her cookie and passed it over, "I thought with your perfect figure, you'd be on a diet. That was rude of me." She cocked her head, "I haven't ever drove."
She looked out. "Chase said he would teach me someday, and maybe he will." She studied the white snow, "But I never got to drive in snow, or rain, or anything." She looked back.
"Are we still gonna get those...foot things?" She pointed down, "That's a first too. Does it tickle?"

Eyebrows rose at the mention of a diet before pink eyes darted their way over to Regan and saw the iced cookie being offered in her direction. On one hand, she'd complimented her on her figure. On the other hand, she assumed Prissy needed to diet. There was a slow blink, her lips pursing for a half second and then... Prissy graciously received the iced cookie half and bit into it, offering Regan a smile afterwards while the sugary confection began to melt away in her mouth. "You didn't know - I should have specified." (Ignoring the fact the cookies had been a surprise and a gift, no less). Moving on, however, Prissy washed down the half eaten cookie with some of the cocoa, nodding her head as pink curls bounced from the effect. "Chase would be a good teacher - just make sure to get him on a good day, those moods can be harsh." Toes wiggled at being reminded of their later appointment, Prissy finding herself giddy at the thought of having her nails touched up on. "Of course we will. Manis and pedis for both of us -- do you know what sort of color you want? And it shouldn't tickle... unless you're really ticklish, down there."

It was a bit fascinating to watch Prissy's face. It changed, even if she didn't think it did. Regan held bated breath as she held the cookie offering out....
When the cookie was taken, she let it out and might've laughed, just in the slightest. "I'll keep it in mind for the future." Because she hoped there would be future outings.
"Would you teach me? He said motorcycle, but you have a car so..." She waited, "I wouldn't mind trading. I can tune it up, make sure it runs clean?" She stopped, "If that sounds interesting enough?"
She tilted her head. "Blue." and then before Prissy could suggest, "You have more pink, I think blue is nice. or Teal...." She thought about it. "Maybe both? Can they do that?" She thought even harder....."I don't think I am? There isn't much that makes me react physically I think." It's why she made a good warrior. She could take hits. She sipped her cocoa though, and for the first time, tried to imagine her toes painted in cute colors.

"They can do whatever you want them to do -- that's what we pay them for. If they want a good tip, they'll know better than to argue." Her hand waved flippantly in the air, as if dismissing the mere thought of being told no to any of her color choices. "I'll probably go with a shade of pink - or maybe something festive for the holidays. A sparkly red, even?" It would look cute for the few shifts she had still at the Sugar Cube, before Christmastime hit. Then again, she tried to look cute in everything she did - who knew who could be watching at any given moment? "You'll get your fingernails done too - we'll do a gel nail polish so it won't come off while you play with all the dirty cars and whatnot." The prospect of teaching someone how to drive... never had occurred to Prissy before but as she saw herself as an ideal driver (god help the other people on the street, honestly), the thought brought a smile to her face as she linked arms and gave Regan's a squeeze. "And of course I'll teach you. It'll be more girl bonding time for the both of us. I can see it now - cute blue and teal on the wheel. Ha -- it even rhymes!" Pixie Nyxie regan is precious, just so you know.

Regan also knew better than to argue with Prissy, folding hands comfortably. Her fingers wiggled thinking of them being painted.
"Red would look good too." She agreed, and because it was Christmas, why shouldn't she get red? She imagined that, regardless of what Prissy though, she would be decked out in a Christmas themed outfit. Thankfully not the...sweaters of last year that Chase had given them. It almost brought a small smirk to the normally unchanging face.
"Didn't know they made polish strong enough to handle grease and oil." She examined her hands. They weren't damaged but they were no where near the softness of Prissy's. It was a odd vast difference in their physcialities. Something she felt she compared often, but it mostly because she wanted to be worthy of her friend.
Arms linked and Regan relaxed, "If I get good enough, do you think I could get a blue convertible like yours?" Regan pinked at the though, "Best we take one of Chase's cars though, so I don't ruin yours. Though I could fix it up...."
