___The Mugen Tale:
The Mugen clan originated from the great mountain heights of the Land of Lightning, noted as an established family prior to the formation of the national ninja villages. Their golden eyes enable the clan to virtually read the natural chakra in the air around them; allowing them to view movements at various angles, and granting them the ability to focus chakra to push and bend the air in any direction their golden eyes are fixated. Of all the elegant simplicities they practiced, the young Mugen were most drawn to archery—boasting their powerful sight, and wind controlling abilities to deliver what would be utterly impossible shots by others. By refining and manipulating their abilities, the Mugen quickly rose from infancy to become a powerful and feared clan throughout the country.
Even though the Mugen were one of many families responsible for helping concrete Kumogakure's strength as a national power, they were still utterly against the idea of "mass producing" ninja in order to turn them into tools of war, rather than weapons of espionage and assassination. It was in fact the Mugen's blatant and open detest toward the ideas of "ninja wars," that caused them to deny a seat in Kumogakure's council, and slowly began the scrubbing of their name from the public. The denial of the Raikage's offer also marked the clan's descent from the mountain peaks, like a dripping spill, separating the Mugen from a mass collective into various small groups and subfamilies; most of which today no longer practice the original clan's tradition of isolationism. They do, however, all hoist the one, same, and true family crest—the symbol for cyclical infinity—the draconian Ouroboros.
___The Kinmukugan:
The Kinmukugan ( "Pure gold eye" ) is a doujutsu that originally developed from an unnatural focus of chakra in the eyes, much like any other doujutsu, which morphed because of its incubation in the climate of the Land of Lightning's mountain peaks. This intense buildup of uniquely developed chakra allows the Mugen to do several things; such as control air to an extent, visually snuff out natural chakra, and even explore the interaction of a subject's personal chakra with the chakra of its environment. They cannot, however, view the chakra workings of any subject, such as a human's chakra circulatory system. Those with the Kinmukugan are, in essence, chakra-color blind; seeing instead of personal colors, generalizations and signatures / styles of chakra drift. To a Mugen with their doujutsu active, ambient chakra—the chakra of the world—appears as a green outline; the chakra of living creatures appears as a blue aura; all of which bear different thickness and patterns of flow, allowing one subject to be differentiated from another. Thanks to these colors and patterns, the Kinmukugan owner is able to effectively track specific targets; and usage of "focus" techniques allows them to further increase their surveillance. Additionally, the focal points created can be manipulated by the other major characteristic of the Kinmukugan, allowing them to be bent into projectile redirecting spheres, or burst into concussive blasts.

Unlike other doujutsu, the Kinmukugan is an eye which is almost completely dependent on their owner's determination and hard work to strengthen. A strengthened Kinmukugan is capable of inducing powerful air pressure blasts and slipstreams via visual Fuuton; using Focus Points to create virtual surveillance systems; and even seeing past genjutsu, as the chakra their eyes detect would be entirely blue, as it is the user's personal chakra, not ambient green chakra.

Description: The Mugen focuses chakra into an item—typically a projectile—causing it to become an additional, camera-style set of Kinmukugan eyes. The newly enhanced item can be mentally linked to by the user, allowing him/her to see from it, although only one set of eyes can be seen through at a time. The creation and manipulation of various vantage points allows the Mugen to widen their chakra sight by incredible amounts, granting immense surveillance. It should be noted that because these additional eyes function almost entirely the same as the Mugen's real eyes, any techniques that would affect the real person directly ( such as sight based genjutsu ), will subsequently affect them indirectly. The number and time duration of Focus Points is strictly determined and detailed by the number of developed Ouroboros within one's eyes.
Torakkingu Mokushi [ Tracking Sight ]

Description: The Mugen focuses chakra into their eyes, allowing them to view the personal chakra trail ( blue ) of a body left behind in ambient chakra ( green ). These chakra trails are often stable for only half a day ( 12 hours ) before dissipating. It should be noted that only one particular chakra can be tracked at once. Duration: six (6) posts or until dismissed.

Description: The Mugen focuses their chakra along their line of sight, creating a sort of "preemptive slipstream" just in front of a projectile or medium sized object. This slipstream cuts the wind resistance almost entirely from the target, typically increasing its aerodynamic properties, and thusly its overall speed and trajectory. Because of its style of performance, this technique can only be maintained while sight with the target is possible; however, thanks to the manipulation of Focus Points, this is often easier done than said.
Kamikaze Seiryoku [ Divine Wind Force ]

Description: By holding a pair of handsigns and focusing the power of their kekkei genkai to a specific area, the Mugen is able to create a cannonball sized bubble of compressed air pressure within their range of sight. Once the user breaks their handsigns, the bubble will explode, disorienting and knocking the wind from those within its range. Blast range: half (1/2) of blast range detailed by Ouroboros count.
Kussetsu Zendou [ Bending Path of Virtue ]

Description: By sacrificing its viewing properties, the Mugen is able to transform a Focus Point from a surveillance unit, to a redirection unit. While active, the altered Focus Point causes anything that enters its radius to be thrown around as if it just dove into a twisting vortex. Although typically unpredictable, if a Kinmukugan owner with ability focuses their sight on the object within the vortex, they can control the trajectory of their target, causing it to be expelled like a bullet. Radius: equal to blast range detailed by Ouroboros count.
Katsu Torakkingu [ Split Tracking ]

Description: This technique—better labeled a method—allows a Mugen to make use of two (2) Focus Points simultaneously. By surrendering only one eye to each Focus Point, the user is able to survey from different points at the same time. Unfortunately, while making use of this method, the user's range of sight is reduced roughly by half.
Fūjin no Nageku [ Fūjin's Sigh ]
Rank: B — Chakra
Description: The user focuses their doujutsu's power on a wide area in order to create a large compression of air. Anything within this compressed area will suddenly begin to feel light-headed, due to the shift in air pressure. This is not the major aim of the technique, however; after performing a trio of handsigns, the user forces the previously compressed air to burst, causing anything within the blast to become unbalanced, and applicable targets within to be breathless for a short period of time (1 post). Nyoronyoro Zendou [ Slithering Path of Virtue ]

Description: The Mugen focuses their sight and chakra in order to better materialize the slipstream that is created by movement, typically behind a running individual. This manifested stream allows a thrown projectile to trace that pattern of movement, homing on whatever it was that made such a trail. This slipstream also cuts the wind resistance almost entirely from the target, typically increasing its aerodynamic properties, and thusly its overall speed and trajectory. Because of its style of performance, this technique can only be maintained while sight with the target is possible; however, thanks to the manipulation of Focus Points, this is often easier done than said.
Koshouten [ Great Focus ]

Description: By straining their mind and focus, this method allows the Mugen to double the effective range of a chosen Focus Point. Of course, this also heavily distracts the user, causing them to be left open, should they be in the middle of the fray.
Hayai Shouten [ Quick Focus ]

Description: This technique allows the user to create and release their maximum total of Focus Points in a single moment. The maximum number of Focus Points which one can have active is dictated by their number of developed Ouroboros.
Fūjin no Hoeru [ Fūjin's Roar ]
Rank: A — Chakra
Description: The Mugen creates a single, powerful point of compressed air on a target within their line of sight, one that can actually be felt as a harsh pressure. Moments after its creation, this sphere will begin to spin like a drill, digging itself into the target's body. Although the sphere is incapable of directly piercing through most targets, the rotation causes an immense amount of pain as it tries to cut through the obstacle. At any point during its rotation, the user is able to send out a mental signal, causing the focused bulb to explode, severely damaging and tossing its target. Although the blast range of this technique is incredibly small, the blast itself holds incredible power; typically able to throw large boulders over long distances. Blast range: equal to one-fourth (1/4) of blast range detailed by Ouroboros count, rounded up.
Fūjin no Iki [ Fūjin's Breath ]
Rank: S — Chakra
Description: The user places a hand in front of one of their eyes, simultaneously performing a long string of handsigns with the other. While the Mugen is forming these handsigns they are actually focusing and spreading their chakra like air waves, enveloping certain areas within their range of sight. Once the string has been completed, they will finish with and hold the Tori - Bird sign. While holding this sign, the user signifies that he/she is ready to begin the final act of Fūjin's Breath, the creation of powerful explosive vortexes. By merely blinking, the Mugen manifests compact spheres of warped air; spheres which not long after formation explode into bursts capable of uplifting, disorienting, and leaving breathless those caught within them. Because the spheres can be created anywhere within the user's field of vision, this technique holds incredible potential. Unfortunately, only six (6) spheres can be created at once, lest the Mugen suffer tremendous mental strain. Blast range: equal to blast range detailed by Ouroboros count. Duration: three (3) posts; or until dismissed; or the user is interrupted.
Shouten Shiten [ Focus Point ]
Rank: D — Chakra
