

Tatiana treaded carefully down the halls of the Academy, holding tight to a book she'd just gotten from the Library on some of the constellations. Orion had begun to teach her how to identify some, but already she was noticing how busy he tended to be with his studies. If she could learn some on her own and identify them to him... a smile spread across her lips at the very thought that continued to pop in and out of her head. It'd be a lovely surprise, right?
Everywhere signs of the Winter Festival and Solstice festivities were peering about. Different ornaments, lights, and garlands made or put up by kids. Figures made out of sticks or clay or paper acting out little scenes from holiday stories. The pale purple Hallow shivered slightly at all the depictions of snow and hurried onward till she found a spot near a heat vent she could occupy. Immediately she sat with her back against wall, one of her ears and tail flicking near the vent to soak up the warmth. The book was cracked open shortly and spread out in her lap. Now and then though, she'd look up at the sounds of passing staff or faculty, or other students.
One in particular, caught her attention, all three eyes open and peering towards the other kid before recognition settled and she lifted a hand to wave. "Marion! Hello!"
