Tessa's breath obscured her vision as it fogged the biting cold air in front of her, briefly turning the bare trees of the surrounding forest into twisted dark shapes before returning to their natural, nonthreatening visage. As she stepped the rhino smiled at the sound of snow crunching under her boot as it gave way and allowed her to find purchase on the hard frozen ground below. "Keep up now" Tessa called over her shoulder to her companions, before continuing trudging forward. The powder was practically ideal, perhaps for her anyway, at being barely up to her ankles and not quite wet enough to cling to the leg of her pants. Yes, surprisingly the giant faunus had opted to wear trousers rather than her usual skintight shorts beneath her long sweater, even a comfy thick scarf she kept wrapped around her neck to keep in more heat. Casually slung over her back was her large canvas bag holding all of her essentials, save for her weapons and ammo, which were worn on the outsides of her sleeves and on her belts respectively.
Tessa continued trudging her way forward, using her size to clear the way of excess snow for her followers along the uneven path that evidently only she could follow, whether through memory or through just tells in the fresh snow was unclear.
Brrr...... An invite in the mountains with the adventure and celebration together in harmony. The miracle of birth and a baby shower of interests. Sasselia had been surprised the day she was invited and honored, there was no reason to say no. Sadly she had been unable to invite a plus one alongside her, though she had managed to find a gift. With her heavy winter coat and thermal socks and tights, she was grateful Vale had many stores. She was indeed all prepared for the trip, keeping her face warm best she could under the layer of a hat and scarf, with Tessa leading making the journey easier to maneuver. Though it was cold and there was blistering white all around, what mattered most was pushing out of her comfort zone to meet Tessa's family. It was Tessa's' sister who had given birth, but to walk alongside her teammate, it was support and respect for Tessa to accompany.
Under her arm she was carrying a black and white present, its contents a gift she had spent a good few days thinking over. It was something simple, but hopefully practical enough to help in some way, shape, or form. Clutching it protectively, Sass could merely only see the figure of her tall teammate in the midst of the weather, not daring to glance at the others with them. The cold was keeping herself barred from trying to expose her face too much, despite the warmth she had possessed already. "Do...Doing j-just fine." She called back in her usual soft voice, handling the environment decently. The weapon of hers on her back was no help in the matter, and the snow was pretty but all around in a world of white... Excitement was on high key. The arriving to a new location... Who knew how long the trip would be or how long they were already at it. All she knew.... Tessa was fantastic maneuvering around in this cold weather.

It was cold. Very cold. Too cold. "Tess - I'm not sure how you survived such harsh conditions..."Narx said in a quaking voice. He wore a large jacket that had faux animal hair around the rim of his cloak, making him look like a bandit king of sorts. His one eye glowed in the darkness of the forest. "I know I wouldn't survive more than a week here." Though he did have to admit that he enjoyed the crunching of the snow underneath his feet. He was an utter failure at sneaking, but so did everyone else in this sort of weather which made him feel good. Well, some patches of snow actually made his footsteps land more softly, so maybe he was wrong. Someone who was used to this kind of terrain would know how to navigate it properly. That was for sure.
Narx held his shoulders with his arms to keep warm. His large hammer was strung up on his back. He didn't want to bring it to a party, but as this one required some traveling he felt it appropriate. He also had a humongous box strapped to his back with his present inside. Knowing how large Tess was he could only imagine this baby being massive as well. Though he might have overdid it. Narx noticed someone he hadn't met before. She had long blue hair and red eyes. A very unusual look, but she was pretty and seemed nice. Maybe Danaë would like her? Narx sped his pace up until he was beside her. "You are Sasselia right?"He said extending a hand to her to shake with a bright smile. "I overheard someone saying it, I'm Narx. It's nice to meet you."He looked back to see where Danaë was but he had lost her in the group it seems. She'd likely find him sometime soon. She always seemed to find her way back. "So how do you know Tess?"He made sure to say this very loudly to let Tess know he was talking about her. If she noticed he'd shoot a friendly wink at her.

Danaë was covered in snow. despite her best efforts, she knew that she would be cold. She wore a pair of dark blue leggings, and snow boots to keep her feet warm. On her top, she wore a jacket. She hated the feeling it had on her feathers, but even she knew that she would be cold. She honestly had no idea as to why they were going to a baby shower for someone that they didn't know. She would much rather be in the hospital, taking care of her brother. However, Narx wanted to go to this, and she wasn't going to let him go alone. Not when there could be other people that could try to take him for themselves.
She started falling behind. The snow was getting in places that she didn't like. It was then that she fell in the snow. She lost sight of Narx. She was tempted to try and get a bird's eye view of where they were, and fly to catch up, however, she didn't know what it would do if her arms were contained. She would get up, and then try to sprint in this weather...She couldn't help but think that this was the reason why birds flew south in the winter. She wanted to go south...to warmth.
She would finally catch up with Narx and the group, snow in her feathers. "I hate this weather." She would grab onto Narx's arm. She didn't want to get separated again.

"This is soooooo boring! yelled a high pitched, melodic voice from the group. Koryn had taken up the invitation to join the party, but this wasn't what she was expecting in the slightest, she expected to evidently just be teleported to the place, and not have to walk/hover for what seemed like forever. She had been told to dress a little more warm than usual, so instead of making an extremely bare outfit, she had made sure to make it cover up her stomach.. wow. Koryn wasn't one for moaning about things that actually mattered, and the cold wasn't something she enjoyed, but she certainly wasn't going to complain. The faunus girl flew around the group, attempting to keep herself entertained as she aimed a stupid face towards her team leader, Sasselia, following it up with a giggle. Koryn landed back beside Sass, and placed her bare arms out and hovered above the cold ground with her huge, monarch wings. Koryn began to make the noise of an aeroplane, as she flew a circle around Sasselia, "Sasselia, when will we get there?!" she said, before she looked at the others who were joining them on this visit.
Koryn hovered closer to them, as the young male spoke to Sasselia she was examining him a bit too closely, but that was just a Koryn thing to do. "How does someone so not large, wield a hammer so large..." she thought to herself, her head tilting as she was evidently intrigued. Her eyes then moved towards the female beside him, clutching his arm. Koryn gave her a massive grin if they made eye contact, and she moved closer to her. "You are small..." she said, eyeing the girl up and down, Koryn shook her head. "But not as small as a four year old.. so your cheeks are perfectly adult!" she said, almost as though they would completely understand what she was talking about.
Koryn continued to examine the girl, most likely making her feel very uncomfortable. She was mesmerized by the feathers, and reached her hand out to touch one before she could heard Eira and Sasselia's voices in her head, "Don't just assume everyone wants to be touched! Ask first!" she heard in her head, as she stopped her hand before it reached the girl. Koryn then changed it to a point at the girls face, "You are absolutely beautiful!" she yelled, going for the non-contact approach that she had been taught by her team. "My name is Koryn, but you can call me Princess K!" she said, placing her hands on her hips as she striked a pose, bursting into laughter as she could no longer contain her own joke that nobody else would find quite as 'hilarious'.
Koryn opened up her wings and gave them a good shake, removing the snow that had began to fall onto them. She looked at her feet that were practically bare, and chuckled. "I've lost the feeling in my feet! This is a fun sensation!!" she yelled, continuing to laugh as she examined them.
"My generation grew up in this climate" Tessa said simply "I'm used to this weather, also don't cover your mouth and nose with a scarf or the moisture will freeze and you'll get frostbite" Narrowign her eyes the giant faunus turned and pointed her finger at her teammate "And you too Koryn, get out of the damn snow! If your circulation stops your toes will turn black and I'll have to pull them off!" The rhino girl began stamping her way toward the butterfly girl but stopped quite suddenly as a wind whistled over a nearby hill, carrying with it wisps of frosty air dancing over the powdered ground. She sniffed several times, turning her body to face the direction the wind blew from and taking a few cautious steps as she continued sniffing like a dog. "s**t. . . you smell that?" Tessa leaned into the air ad sniffed again before suddenly taking off toward the incline, digging her fingers into the snow when it became too steep to simply walk up. Tessa hissed at the burning sensation of snow on her bare hands as she ascended the hill, every step leaving behind a small shelf for the others to use as a handhold before she disappeared over the crest and stopped at the sight of a large patch of crimson painting the snow little more than a hundred feet ahead.
Silent save for the crunch of snow under her boots, Tessa approached the scene of an unlucky individual strung up between two posts, skin on his back split and stretched out with twine while their ribs had been sliced and pried away from their spine, evident by the shadows they cast through the stretched skin from the light of the sun behind them, giving the poor individual the appearance of having a twisted set of wings. "Don't touch it" Tessa said as she sighed and crossed her arms beneath her chest "This is my family sending a message. This is someone who offended the clan and was forced into a duel" she pointed at spots of torn flesh where visible gouges in the bone were present "They lost obviously, but this display here. . . this is an insult and a message, otherwise they would be buried properly. They've been denied their right to lie next to their family in their graves and entrance into Valhalla. . . and now they act as a scarecrow for anyone who would entertain the idea of attacking the settlement. You strike at us and we won't hesitate to kill you. . . . " the rhino girl uncrossed her arms and turned to look at her group "I need to warn you all, do your best not to offend anyone because my protection only goes so far. This-" she jabbed her thumb toward the lightly swaying corpse "Was all done while they were still alive, and it will likely have been the single most painful thing they ever experienced." With a huff Tessa turned and began marching once again "Keep your weapons away too. We're in my family's territory now, and I have no doubt we're being watched." Tessa continued to walk in silence for the next several minutes, occasionally pushing a tree over if it blocked their way through a heavily forested area, or using her semblance to make a land bridge over a still moving stream. Eventually the group would make their way to the sight of a small mountain that looked to have been cleaved in two to make a sort of canyon. As Tessa continued leading the group up yet another hill she held her hand up to signal the group to stop as she noticed several figures approaching. Four larger ones evidently carrying weapons, and three smaller ones topped with bright orange hair and moving much faster ahead of them toward the group, shouting apparently as the sound of children's voices grew louder as they drew closer. "-ere, she's here! Send for the cart! They're here!"

Keeping focused and ahead, Sasselia shuffled around the scarf upon her face, trying to adjust to comfort. Her red eyes would shift direction to a male's voice coming closer. Asking about her name, she was definitely hearing correctly. Turning her head to make proper eye contact, she was surprised the voice had appeared by a male who looked around her age, handsome, and carrying a giant weapon on his back. How he was managing to maneuver through the snow with such a heavy weapon on his back was a complete mystery. Though the man wore an eye patch he was still easy to read, the vibe of pure friendliness clear as day. "Y-yes I am. H-hello~." Her gaze would drop to his hand, shaking it in formal greeting. Since she was wearing mittens she did not feel the direct contact, this was easy for ehr to handle. Introducing himself as Narx, she remembered him then from the ball awhile ago when Richard had once pointed him and his girlfriend out to her. Richard... Smiling softly, it was nice to finally be able to meet his teammates in this way. "I-it is nice to meet you as well. There is no better time th-then a celebration of joy to meet new people no?" Adjusting the hat on her head, she took note of him scanning the others near them. Did the pretty owl from the ball come as well? Having been so nervous before the walk up she had made no notice at the time of recognizing any facial features no realizing who people aside from her team were. Realizing he had been speaking to her once more, Sass had been a little surprised he was unsure of the teamship her and Tessa had possessed. She still answered this no problem, rubbing her hands together. "I know Tessa from my team actually. Sh-she and I are teammates. I take it she and you are friends as well?" Curious for an answer, the question about it became on hold for the most part, as Danae had arrived, finally finding Narx. Watching the owl grabbing his arm, the woman was unable to hide her smile. "How lovely~. N-nice to meet you Miss. I take it y-you two are together? How long have you been together for?"
Before Sasselia could really ask anything else or better yet introduce herself, Koryn's familiar voice had spoken up among the ground. Watching her without any shoes in the snow made her feel cold just by looking at her! The butterfly's enthusiasm despite the weather and lack of layers she had on was contagious and impossible to ignore. Sass would giggle by her question, a casual rise to her right shoulder as part of the answer. "I-I am honestly in the d-dark as much as you Koryn~. That is more of a question f-for Tessa as I do not know myself~." Bowing her head apologetically, she relaxed among the group, listening to the adorable quippings of Koryn examining their companions. It wasn't before long that Tessa finally would look back, quickly removing the scarf down from her face to under her chin. After the scolding to the butterfly by their rhino escorter, Tessa's sudden shift of mood unnerved. Watching her sniffing the air, Sass could only detect the faint smell of decay with her own try, but unable to really properly use her tracking skills due to the direction of the wind and the unknown territory. The most she could do is follow suite behind Tessa like everyone else, remaining silent til they were finally nearing their destination. A lovely first impression... The sarcasm hung in her mind quick, eyeing the corpse hanging in it's disgusting display. Tessa had no worries about her approaching the nasty display. It was no way to treat any sort of life whether traitorous or not. It was not her place to question tribal life or pry into it. Let them keep their traditions with no one to stick their noses into it. She would keep her opinions to herself. The details Tessa had went into explaining the process of traitors... That was all unnecessary imagery... Ick. At least they made it to their destination? She obliged to the weapons rule, no plans to really wield Gravityflux out around like a bull in a china shop in the first place. The thought of being watched though sent a shiver down her spine. True hunters and true tribesman... This unknown territory would surely help her maneuver her knowledge to father heights past grass and sunshine. for this she would force to remain calm, and continue to follow with the rest, though soon enough they had managed to deal long enough to meet with other members of her tribe. The welcome wagon had arrived and the all the snow maneuvering would seem to be at a finish at long last. Ooc:

Narx didn't expect Sasselia to be so kind. That much was obvious from his somewhat surprised look when she finally took his hand and spoke. "You're right, there is no better time than something like this, though, I can't wait to get into the warmth!" He said with a glint of hope in his eye. They would walk on for a bit before she revealed that Tess was one of her teammates This sparked interest, as Tess used to be his teammate."She is one of my former teammates actually! so I guess we have that in common!"
Narx couldn't help but don a charming smile of youthful bliss when Danaë caught up and grabbed his hand. His otherwise calm and relaxed demeanor would suddenly be a bit more warm and friendly in the stark and bitter cold atmosphere. Sasselia seemed to know about them already, whether it was her sharp intuition, or other he did not know, but she was kind hearted. "The weather is rough here." He would admit to her as she arrived.
A newcomer pushed up to their side. He noticed the fairy faunus eyeing his hammer. A lot of people thought it was a cool weapon. Some were just surprised he could wield it, others just wanted to hold it, but usually it would slam to the ground like hammers of legend. Tess was likely the only other person in this group who could even lift it. She would swing it comfortably, he thought just before the fairy girl started to make strange comments. He leaned in and whispered to Danaë. "I don't know if that one is quite right in the head..." She had a cute and friendly aura about her, but something definitely seemed a bit off. He wouldn't trust her to fight along side him, not without getting to know her at least. Maybe they would talk later and he'd get a chance to probe her on basic combat strategy.
Narx couldn't help, but go wide eye at the sight of the scarecrow. Tess went about explaining it, but he had a hard time following what she said due to the horrible nature of the body before them. Who knew how fresh it was, but it was nasty and terrible. He couldn't help but wonder what the poor soul did to deserve this, but it must have been rotten to the core for such a punishment. "I didn't know her family was so brutal..."He gulped as he calmed his heart rate. It was odd, but the sight of such brutality tickled his mind as if to bring up a thousand different memories, yet he couldn't envision a single one. Had he seen such sights many times before? Was his past that rotten? And more importantly, was he involved? He wanted to talk to Ora again, but he also didn't, what truths did she know about his past? Did he even want to know? Probably not. "Let's keep walking..."He said to Danaë looking back at her with a faux smile of strength. His hand quivered ever so slightly. "Is that your family?"He asked when they topped the hill to see people coming towards them. It was likely just guards, but they were too far for him to see in detail with his one eye, but before he knew it she was gone. Where did she go?! and more importantly why? He couldn't smell anything?

Danaë's eyes had to focus a bit. A butterfly girl came up, almost directly in her face. It took her a moment to step back. Her face would then flush with bright red. Sure, she knew that she was good looking, but a total stranger was telling her that she was absolutely beautiful. Danaë was absolutely speechless. "Ho-oh, thank you." Her voice was low. She didn't know what else to say. She did see the girl reaching to touch her feathers.
Then Tessa started speaking. Saying something about the butterfly woman wearing shoes, and something about frost bite. "Except this is what most butterflies wear when in the cold. You have to be very specific with what you want them to wear. Also...Narx can probably heal frostbite." Danaë would look up to Narx for a confirmation.
Then the scene on the body came into view. Danaë's eyes narrowed. A tribe was only as good as they treated their worst members, and if this was how they treated one person, they would have to be their toes. They would have to be hyper-vigilant while here. She didn't know if Narx could be that. She would have to be it for the both of them. As they passed, the body would disintegrate, turning into dust.
She would then turn to the blue haired woman. There was no way that was real right? Right? She had only seen hair like that in faunus. Wait, was she a faunus? Danaë would tilt her head in confusion. She didn't see any marks on her that would show that she was a faunus. Then again, some faunus didn't have visible signs though. Oh, she was asking how long they had been together. "We've been together since the start of the school year. He saved me from a bully that was trying to molest my feathers." Her feathers would poof up as she remembered that day.
Then children would start to come for them, asking for a cart for them. Did they really need a cart?

Eira trudged through the snow up a steeper slope than most of the trip had been over. She followed the tracks left by the others as they made their way up it. At the very least it cut down on the resistance her feet felt with every step. So far the platinum blonde, or white depending on how the viewer interrupted the color, had been hanging back from the group a little ways. Wandering off to the sides and enjoying the trip. She had traded her usual jacket out with a heavier coat since Tessa said this trip would be going up into mountains. She came from a colder region of Vale to begin with so while a little on the chilly side she was probably fairing better with this level of cold than the others. Her coat itself was a slight off white and reached down to thighs. The only other color to be seen on it was a midnight blue fur like lining around the cuffs and hood. She also had her weapon out in the form of a spear. It was arguably for group defense in case a grimm showed up while they were making their way out here. The trip had been peaceful though so it was serving more as a walking staff today. It certainly was helpful for avoiding the real deep snow and any bad footing.
She caught up with the others while the group was stopped in front of a scarecrow. A rather distasteful one. Eira's eyes widened like saucers when she came to a stop beside Sassy and saw it. She turned her head to look at the others to see how they were handling seeing it. Which also gave her reason to just flat out look away from it. Hey eyes deliberately avoiding looking back towards the scarecrow once they left it. Tessa said that they were in her family's territory now so they wouldn't need their weapons out anymore. It made sense. Eira figured they likely patrolled the area and made sure to keep the grimm away. What few grimm that actually bothers to climb the mountain that is. Eira collapsed the spear until its form became that of a short sword. She returned it to its sheath under her coat and then fell in with the others as they started to walk again. She moved up from her spot a couple steps behind Sassy to stand beside her on the opposite side Narx had been walking on.

Koryn continued to hover above the snow, she looked to Tessa who threatened to pull her toes off. Koryn stuck her tongue out and lifted her toes towards the Rhino's direction, "Gotta catch them first big bubbies!" she yelled, as she watched her stomp towards her, and stop whilst she was half way towards her. Koryn lifted her head up and sniffed, she could definitely smell something however was unsure what it was, following the rest of the group she saw the body that had been completely destroyed. Koryn flew right up beside the body and stared at it, "Where's the message Tessa? I see no letters on the body!!?" she yelled, as she examined it up and down, floating in the air. Koryn was right at the body, too close for comfort as she flew around it now, wondering why someone would leave it here. She listened to Tessa explain what happened, and waited until she had moved ahead of the group to guide them.
Koryn squinted as she still continued to stare at the body, she looked to the rest of the group who were catching up to Tessa and then back at the body. "I'll come back and bury you, but right now, I have to be a little bit more careful than normal!" she said to the body, almost expecting it to speak back to her. For a brief moment, Koryn became very low and sad inside, she imagined back to the war between her tribe and the moths, and how still to this day it caused deaths. Of course, the butterfly tribe never did such disgusting acts to the moths, they still caused so much bloodshed. Koryn bit her lip, almost wishing for peace between the tribes. She still didn't touch the body, but wanted to know who this individual once was. "Did they have a family too? Maybe they just wanted peace..." she said quietly to herself.
A little bit had passed, and Koryn almost lost sight of the rest of the others. She scrambled in the air, kicking her legs and arms as she then flew towards them all, eventually arriving beside Eira and Sassy. Koryn was a little unsure of how to feel right now, her tribe were protective of their kind and values, however she was worried that she would cause trouble in Tessa's homeland, if she witnessed anything else like that body, it was a vile attempt at showing strength. Koryn evidently appeared confused about things, which wasn't like her, she had become more of an individual during her time at Beacon, learning things about herself that she didn't know before.
Koryn then heard the sound of younger voices, she looked up and saw that there were more people, ready to meet the group.
three small figures clad in white hopped through the snow toward the troupe finally stopping a little over two meters away, smiling as they looked up at the students.
The trio were just barely three feet tall, obviously young (perhaps eight) and capped with a crop of bright orange hair in which nestled a pair of twitching feline ears. "Welcome!" Cheered the middle one as she hopped forward, the bells in her braids jingling "We are your welcoming committal!" "Committee" one of the others corrected "Committee!" she corrected herself and cleared her throat before opening her arms, parting her heavy looking poncho and giving a clumsy looking curtsy."We bid you welcome to our home and ask for you a fry-" "To abide" "To abide by our rules! Number one!" she held up and finger "Be receptive-" "Respectful" the tired looking sibling twitched his ear in annoyance "Respectful of our people. Two! Fighting is encouraged as long as neither party dies. Three! Do not enter a home without permission! Four! Do not disrespect the chieftain and her family!" "That's not a rule, just advice" The tired looking sibling stepped forward and gestured to the cart being pulled toward them "You'll be pulled to the village with our honor guard while we announce your arrival. There will be a procession and you'll meet the chieftain, after that we take you to your roo-GAK!" He was interrupted by his sister as she gasped loudly and nearly ran him over as she tore through the snow and stopped in front of Koryn. "Omigosh it's a flutterfly faunus! We don't see you here much! Are you on Tessa's team? Are you older? Why is your chest so small? Your wings are so pretty!" she spoke at lightning pace as she hopped all around and felt Koryn all over, even nuzzling between her wings before gasping again and leaping over to Narx and Danae "Another bird person! There's an aviary for you up the hills with all other kinds! WHat kind are you? Your wings aren't very big. Why are you so small? Are these flying feathers? Can you fly? Papa says not all bird people can fly and WOOOOOOW! That's a big present! Did you bring that for the baby? Did you know it's not even her birthday? You're really tall! Are you Tessa's b-" "Enough!" Tessa grabbed the child by the back of her poncho and placed her next to her brothers where she crossed her arms and pouted . "Spoilsport" she grumbled before turning to gesture to the cart and the positively enormous bull like creature that pulled it. "If you'll board please, we'll be off!" The triplets quickly hopped onto the cart and stopped suddenly before turning around. "We almost forgot to introduce ourselves. We are the lion triplets. . .
"Church!" The tired looking sibling perked up his ears "Temple" The quieter sibling bowed his head politely "Gospel!" the sister cheered before they each pulled a pair of pale metallic sticks capped with ornate gold carvings at either end and scrambled to take their place seated on or behind part of what was evidently a large handmade drum set. Tesa sighed and stepped aboard the cart where she sat on a loose cushion that smelled suspiciously of hay and watched the others board before giving the bull a pat on the rump to encourage it to move along. Once the cart was in motion the triplets clacked their sticks together three times and set about laying down a rhythmic drumline as they entered the path between the canyon walls toward the other end where they would finally come to a place that offered warmth and food. The ride however would not be a pleasant one. The cart rattled as it hit every bump and dip on the path, the guards on either side growled any time eyes were put on them, and exposed roots and rusted weapons jutted out from the canyon walls while the drumbeat echoed all around. All in all, it looked quite sinister and was not helped by the pair of large figures standing at the end of the canyon, weapons in hand and each easily larger than Tessa was.

Well, that's the first time Sasselia had ever seen someone look surprised by something she had perhaps spoken or whatever other reason being. Even with Danae looking at her.... Was that confusion or wonderment? Looking at her as well. Her own eyes would widen like saucers, almost about to ask if she had said something wrong. Did she perhaps sound a little too optimistic about this? She had no idea why Danae would have been staring either, unless she had accidentally crossed a line about asking them about how they met. Only when Narx had replied had she relaxed, slowly exhaling a breath she had been holding in for but a moment. How she could have commented on the cold, but Koryn saved her that trouble as the butterflies interjection saved them all from further commentary on the weather. With Tessa speaking on the matter of frostbite, she was surprised to hear from Danae how Narx could heal such a status issue. That was a curious mystery semblance the man possessed. To even save the trouble, she could have easily spoken up to say she could help a little with first aid treatment for frostbite as well, but her voice would catch in throat, her skills in first aid treatments on silent regard.
How strange things were becoming at least, enough to cut the subject away for a moment's time. This corpse hanging above them causing a mix of different reactions. Most were obvious. Eira aside her looking away even. The longer they would stand around it, the more mix of wonderment and slight nervousness would occur. Tessa had claimed this as tribal customs, Koryn's commentary the only thing keeping Sasselia sane. She managed to ignore the corpse from the back of her mind enough to pay attention to Danae. Heroic, romantic, and sweet on both of their behalfs, Sasselia was mildly envious but delighted to see them together by such a turnout. Saving Danae in such a matter sounded a little like a fairy tale. One she would have loved to ask more about. The arrival of Tessa's tribe mates and the disintegrated corpse cut off all further questions. It was especially true once three little faunus children had stepped forward among the others to present as the welcoming committee. "So darling~..." The words said before she could stop them, shaking her head quick before she could say anything else foolish. Considering they were speaking of the tribes rules, it was a better choice to focus on memorizing them. "So one is of common sense and courtesy regarding respect... If I am understanding the second right it meant this tribe loved a good fight as long as the result was no where near deathly aspects... The third I would never dare to do... The fourth rule though... As I am meeting them for the first time ever... Ah!! What if I accidentally say something offensive of or do something frown upon by the tribe!?"
For what felt like an eternity, Sasselia had almost caved into her thoughts. Thankfully for the twin who introduced themselves as "Gospel," she was saved from this happening. It did nothing to hide the surprise on her face by their actions as both Danae and Koryn were receiving what felt like the game twenty questions thrown at them. "Heeheehee~..." All of this going on before her made it impossible to resist giggling in the slightest. Precious little ones~!!! Her red irises would fill with warmth by all of it, and would have loved to hear more. When Tessa had cut in for crowd control, her interference would make the wave of their excitement settle to get ready to head for the tribe. She herself would board into the the cart, taking a nice middle seat. "Well this is very convenient~... S-saves us from the snow w-walking... " Until everyone else had joined into the cart, with so many people close to her she kept her gaze down towards her lap, keeping silent with shyness towards the present she had brought. Hopefully the woman of the hour would find this gift useful! Of course the rattling of the cart made things even more awkward, Sasselia constantly apologizing to those on both sides of her everytime she did so much as brush against them and resisting to go red in the face as best as she could muster. A-Aaaaaahh!! B-b-b-bumpy...."

Narx couldn't help but be amused at the butterfly making Danaë blush. It was a cute scene. He brushed a hand through his hair. His strong jaw tight from the cold. He still wasn't sure about her; Koryn, she just seemed so lighthearted. Too lighthearted. That was when Danaë volunteered him to heal frostbite. "Ouch! That doesn't sound pleasant to heal whatsoever, then again, cold does numb, maybe it wouldn't hurt so bad?" He put a finger up to his mouth as he thought about the healing of frostbite."She is one of my former teammates actually! so I guess we have that in common!"
Narx noticed someone else he had also not met before. He knew her name was Eiri or Eiro or something of the sort, but wasn't sure for a fact he was about to introduce himself when Koryn started talking to the corpse. "Ok. - I - I don't know how to react to that..." He would say with wide eyes. He was a little eccentric at times, but this girl was on another level. When she came back to the group Narx noticeably distanced himself from the butterfly girl.
The three family members, or so Narx assumed, were just children, and they were pretty cute by all means. He never really thought of himself as the type who liked kids, but adorable children were adorable. What else could be said? He listened to the rules and advice. Things were simple around here. The kids soon flocked to the butterfly girl named Koryn. She would probably enjoy them more than most. One of them quickly took interest in Narx and Danaë. One suggested they visit the aviary, or rather that Danaë belonged there? He wasn't sure, but when they brought up the fact that he had a massive present box on his back he smiled and made a grandiose gesture showing how proud he was of it. "I know right!? It's going to be the BEST present EVER! Its a secret though. So you will have to wait and see!" She then started to ask another question referring to Tessa when they were halted. He reached a hand out and ruffled the hair of the nearest one.
Narx was already starting to have fun. He grabbed Danaë's hand tighter as they boarded the cart that would take them the rest of the way."I don't like this..."He whispered as the cart hit every single boulder it could possibly hit. He happened to sit next to Sasseslia who apologized profusely with each bump. Narx found this amusing so he naturally said, 'I forgive you.' Every. Single. Time.
