Dolly: - Kai loves Dolly Parton and likes listening to her records and watching her movies. He is saving to go to Dollywood. Her music has been soothing for him and he finds her voice and personality uplifting. Her music and appearances in television have been ways for him to find more strength in the face of hardship. He looks for memorbilia and records in local shops when he has free time.
Drawing: - Kai aspires to be a tattoo artist and practices whenever he has free time. Drawing was a cheap exercise he could do in his room and many people in juvie either wanted or had tattoos he admired. It became a new way to extend a new way to view himself and he had practiced and gotten himself tattooed all over. Right now he just has his back and upper arms. When able, he goes to cafes or art supply places to get supplies or art jam with other people.
Working Out August doesn't work out to be stronger. He works out to feel good about his body and because he likes the feeling after a good sweat. When bored or restless, he will either go for a jog or head to the local gym.

Supportive: -- With a hard slap to your back and a thumb way up, Kai wants to see you succeed in life and feels that happiness and good things should be coming your way? Why? Because you're his friend and be damned if anyone says differently. If you need a hug, a extra pair of hands, or just someone in the bleachers for your game, just say the word and he'll hold the banner.
Hard Working: -- Since leaving juvie, Kai had no support and was trust into the world at 18years of age and told to figure it all out. He never expected handouts and doesn't like begging. While pay may be cheap, he will still work his knuckles bare to get whatever extra cash or job he can which means he grew used to having several part time jobs. Currently he works at a tattoo parlor among running errands for places when he can as he works to do whatever is expected of him as an officer. Just because he doesn't expect to rely on someone doesn't mean he doesn't want others to know they can rely on hi.
Flaws:
Repressed: -- Smiling and optimistic on the outside, Kai is constantly aware of how intimidating he can be and makes every effort to appear approachable and kind. Any negative emotion that might frighten others from him or have them feel right in assuming the worse are traits he'd rather swallow down and let fester inside. This means he won't share what might be bugging him or might anger him and he'll instead wait for privacy to beat himself up over it.
Belittled: -- While Kai likes to be there to help those around him get up and get from point A to point B in their goals, he has little faith in himself to do the same. If given a criticism or light observation, he agrees without argument and internalizes it, thinking he was the reason something ******** up and that he didn't work hard enough. The biggest culprit is himself, and he will mentally justify why he shouldn't attempt something or why his life is a certain way as being his fault. This can make Kai complacent with his lot in life and rarely going after anything, instead diverting his attention to others and their projects. He sees others are more able to reach higher while he has accepted that there is only so high he is going to be able to go.

Body:Tattoos on his arm and chest. He sands very tall at 6'1 with wide shoulders his appearance is large, muscular, but with soft features that tend to hide them from looking too firm and rigid. Dark skinned.
