Nereid, since becoming a super, felt so much more comfortable in her attire and powers. She felt more confident that she was doing well and that she was attaining levels and exp at a quick rate.
It was odd, but her social life was keeping her busy too! She was making people skills and raising her charm level and even had a consitent pair of lovers which was odd for the gamer because she wasn't the type to keep people interested. She was a gamer, who chose to play games over going out....how Austin and Cass didn't mind that, she didn't know.
So her charm had gone up and she was becoming a well rounded powerhouse! Or so she thought, she didn't really know. She had yet to use her super magic on someone and that was probably not good.
When she felt the aura of chaos flare up, the waterfall senshi beelined to it and gasped.
"It's you!" She looked at the green haired corrupt and sighed, "Aw man, we're the same level too! This is gonna be a tough battle!"

It had been around a year since Citrine had stepped into the mantle of _super_ and she hadn't exactly made any progress towards 'leveling up' but she hadn't not made any progress. Mostly because senshi-y things weren't really her priority and she'd been more or less on her own save for the times when her boyfriends patrolled with her.
Lack of 'guidance' didn't bother Citrine, s**t happened and she was very much used to be in charge of herself anyway.
She didn't do the orders thing, nah, if she did it was strictly out of respect and there weren't many that got that from her these days.
That being said, she made her rounds to fill in most of her quota, because even if was always fulfilled, even when she slacked, she had to do something. It was a good time killer and she kept leaving with starseeds when she got bored of the people she was playing with.
Of course some goody goody decided that they wanted to get in her way.
"You sure it's gotta be a battle babe? I can think of so many more fun things to do~"
Nereid smiled at the woman before holding out her hands, immediately calling her magic to her. She had fought Citrine before and she wasn't going to hold back on the super senshi before she got her hands. "I'd say that but I think your fun and my fun are kind of different!"
She threw her hands out, "Waterfalls Barrier!*" If anything, she was gonna capture the painful stinging senshi before she got her hands on her. And if Citrine got caught in her waterfall, the girl was going to take a moment to look around for a weapon to keep those hands off her.
Her eyes looked over at a trash can lid longingly. She would love to use that handy little piece of work there. Cause that would be amazing.
But only if Citrine got caught in her waterfall.

Waterfalls Barrier! Nereid calls the name of her attack, and holds out her arms. A thick circle of 8 feet water appears over her intended target's head and then comes crashing down. It acts as a wall between the target and everyone else, and last for 35 seconds. Anyone in the circle of 8 feet cannot move outside of it until the attack is over, and vice versa, anyone outside the circle cannot force themselves in. She can use this attack twice.

Recognition was there, but Citrine didn't seem to care that they'd gone toe to toe before. In fact, she didn't care to remember people who annoyed her much if she didn't have to. No, her memory and care were reserved for those that she had 'fun' with.
Unfortunately, there was a downside to her magic and that was that she had to get nice, close, and personal with whomever she wanted to use it on and that meant putting herself directly on the line and yet--
Citrine was almost always willing. She was reckless like that sometimes.
And she'd been moving forward, teleportation on her mind when the water crashed over her. Muffled curse could be heard and her eyes had narrowed, but for the moment. Citrine was effectively stuck.
OKAY WELL, that was good. She had a very limited amount of time to get what she wanted so she jumped roll and retrieved the garbage can lid, using it as a make shift shield.
She didn't really believe in armoring herself with weapons, if she was a mage character, because mage's relied on magic. Though she might settle for a pipe or something to keep the corrupt away.
"Don't be mad at me for leaving you in there!" She called out as the roaring waterfalls came to an end and she could see the green haired woman again.
"Just you know....flexing the magic as a warning!"

There was a slow exhale as Citrine shifted in the circle of water magic that kept her in place. Acidic green eyes followed the movements of the white moon super and she had to curb the snarl that was starting to bubble in her throat.
Fingers flexed at her side, curling in and out of fists and she continued to basically shuffle back and forth like a caged animal ready to launch herself at the senshi the minute the spell ended.
Most of the time, it was difficult to get under her skin, but with the string of being stuck in ******** place, the super's patience was running thin and her aggression was starting to bubble to the surface.
Magic timed out for Nereid and Citrine had decided to launch herself, her hands alight with green.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Lime Squeeze
Verdi's hands glow lime green and she grabs at an opponent. Area of contact begins to feel like mild burning sensation that seeps bone deep, like you got lime juice in an open wound. It aches and stings, giving the sensation that it's traveling through the skin around the area of contact.
Last 20 seconds and must retain contact for effects to be felt.
*It is at player discretion if there are any lasting damage ie rashes, irritated skin, mild acid burns, etc
Nereid didn't pretend not to notice the way Citrine paced the water like prison, like a lion waiting for her prey. She could SEE the annoyance on the senshi's face, and how it called for retribution. She could practically taste the lime like pain she was about to be inflicted on.
The garbage can lid was brought up to block any body shots on her midsection, even though her uniform clearly covered it up.
The minute the water barrier went down, the corrupt was launching herself with adept speed granted to supers like themselves and she barely had enough time to shift her body so the green hands grazed at her shoulders.
Of course it hit the only bare spot on her arms, causing her to his in pain and the skin turn immediately red.
"Man, that....really really stings." She tried to throw the garbage can at Citrine, just to fend her away.

Nereid's reactions were better than Citrine would have liked and the stupid trash can lid prevented her from really being able to get a grip on anything but the girl's shoulders and even then...She was shoved back, soft metal pushing into her chest and keeping her at bay.
A snarl was spilling from her lips when she stumbled backwards, heels catching on her hair and sending her tumbling backwards and away. Loose locks where shoved backwards when she climbed to her feet, breath escaping in little white puff of air.
"I'll show you what stings," she snapped, concentrating long enough to teleport into the space before the waterfall senshi. While it would have been smarter to shove her hand in her chest, she opted for a nice, attempted punch to the face, or whatever part she could hit.
Oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t. Nereid had thrown away her only defense against the green senshi. The trash can lid was gone, and she barely had time to register that she was weaponless when Citrine was tripping up.
Literally, over her long hair. That had to suck. She couldn't imagine being a senshi with so much hair and all over the place and....
"Please no thank you!" The waterfall senshi eeped, her hand coming out to bat the glowing green ones away from her. Citrine was clearly going for the face and Nereid couldn't let that happen. Her shoulder was really red from the last attack and stung in a way that she only ever felt when like.....lemon juice got in a tiny cut. Except it smelled like limes.
The teleportation freaked her out though. How come they got to teleport. "Whoa! WHOA. SO NOT FAIR." She didn't get hit in the face, but the glowing green hand hit right in her neck area, seeping through the thin collar and soaking into her skin.
"Jesus Jesus." She pushed Citrine away and rubbed at the burning area. She needed to get a weapon or else Citrine was just gonna lime her down. She needed to think. Think. Think. Her neck literally burned though, and it was distracting.

As her magic started to fade, the bright green glow of her hands dissipated but Citrine's irritation stayed, hot, as she stared down Nereid. Her hands dropped to her sides, chest heaving as she decided what to do, the space between the women small but still there.
She could just step forward, take the starseed and end everything but she needed to move quickly before she was outpaced. Fingers twitched and she was striding forward again, something dark in her eyes.
"Maybe you shouldn't have mess with things past your skillset," she sneered, a leg lifting and kicking out when she was close enough.
Nereid magic wasn't offensive enough, and that was an issue in itself. Citrine's hands stung and were painful and left marks. It was any wonder when she got stronger that her magic would take a turn to even more painful...possibly lethal!
And here Nereid's was....she could trap people. There was no way to win. There was only retreat. The leg lifted, kicking her back just as she called her magic again. The only choice she had was to run.
"Waterfalls Barrier!" She heard the crash of water and turned on her heel immediately, running with the speed granted to supers. Once she was far enough away, she powered down and reached a hand up to the sore and burned spot on her neck.
If any lesson was to be learned here....it was she needed offensive magic...or someone who had that.

Citrine was so ******** sick of entrapment magic.
It felt like a cheap trick used by cowards and she was forced to remain relatively immobile as her opponent turned on her heel and ran. Curses spilled from her mouth and her hands clenched into fists.
By the time the magic had ended, the aura was no longer something she could feel on her senses and, irritated, she took the opportunity to teleport as close to home as she felt comfortable and called it a night.
