Location: The ArenaTime of Day: Afternoon - Evening ╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Stipulations have been made for this match and will be addressed as such:
1. We adhere to the Combat Rules and will be roleplaying it out upon agreed terms. However, for sake of convenience, we will be stating what our current post count is before the fight, as combat in the combat forums will not increase our Post count.
2. No Weapons are Allowed, only bare-handed and Semblance will be used.
3. Dismemberments are plausible, but not impossible, should a limb come off, battle will cease.
4. Most important, will be a stated case of how the characters are AFTER Survival Training Class. This will be important for how the start of the fight will be directly after class, there may have been a visit to the nurse but it will not fully revitilize their body to perfect conditions.. ╚═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Surival class was definitely more hectic than he had thought, a grimm encounter just in one class was more than he could handle, if he was alone. His team with another had managed to quell the foul beast, but not without some harm still being done. His left arm was still feeling numb after the battle, but he had regained movement of it after taking a hard strike to it. His aura levels weren't even close to half, but it had still taken quite alot to even just manage the pain. He upheld his end of the deal, and was there at the Arena, standing on the center stage with his weapon. He unbuckled the sheathe belt and tossed the Reiterpallasch to the side as he stood up, staring at the direction where Tessa would emerge. His aura itself already started to glow as the temperature of the room slowly began to drop at a slow and steady rate.
When Tessa finally appeared, he spoke out loud, "Tell me! Why do you even want to become a huntress?" He asked of her, using a prodding question to get a look into her state of mind, as his own was currently full of adrenaline and some of the numbing agents they had to use to help him calm the pain and to help prevent his Black Ice from running rampant. He knew Azura was already sitting in the stands to watch, a reminder of his humanity and why he has to focus on training himself to protect her. What he was surprised with, was the Survival Teacher named Rachel had chosen to stay and supervise the match, to ensure the fight didn't go too far past maybe bifurication of a limb. He had seen how her semblance was used, and with the panels on the arena's center stage, it would be a good mitigator against her semblance for the starting match... the same sadly couldn't be said about the dirt and earth surrounding the Arena itself. He couldn't make a solid plan, so he knew he would have to make a small strategy and adapt it on the fly during their fight.

So far she liked her new team, the leader had a good head on her shoulders and they meshed well for a new composition. Her only complaint had to be the overly hyper butterfly, that was going to get really annoying really quickly. She regarded her opponent with a tilt of her head while she unbuckled her ammo belts and carefully placed them on the ground outside the arena before unfastening her bracers and doing the same. "I don't" she said simply, stepping into the arena "I've never wanted to be a hunter because I already am one. Everyone in my clan is because we train for it from the day we can walk. Fighting grimm is fun for us so..honestly I don't want to be a hunter in the usual sense because there's no reason for me to be one when my real calling is to take my mama's place as leader of our family. That's why I'm here" As she spoke Tessa looked around the arena and debated internally hat would happen. Unless the panels would give them a new kind of terrain Tessa would need to keep to the outer edge of the arena , otherwise the short stack had an advantage over her with his semblance. She'd need to keep this short if that was the case and put him in a submission pin....or break a limb, that was an option too...probably ◢ "I'll show you what a real Faunus can do..."...

Cecil heard her response as he shook his head, he cracked his knuckles and brought his right foot behind him. "But you're not a licensed Hunter..." He reported at her response, his eyes as cold as the night before he continued. "As such, any damages you do could land you in trouble without that license as your saving grace." He told her as his eyes stayed focus. While he was in the far side of the inner ring, she remained outside it... Predictable in the case the panels hadn't changed. His Aura became more prominent as he continued to speak. "To take your mother's place as leader? You're not even the leader of your own group from how it looked... What do you know about leadership?" He asked, this time it was an agitating question to see how she'd react. He didn't know if she was or wasn't the leader of her current team, but he knew it could get under her skin.

Saying that because I'm not the leader here and cant lead my family is like saying because you're a leader you can lead it. You know nothing about it, guess you're mind's as small as you are." Tessa's mouth split into a grin as she took a low horse stance and brought one arm up in front, perpendicular to the ground, and the other close to her tummy. Her response was as expected, she was cocky and full of herself. He exhaled a calm but shaky sigh as his eyes closed the temperature had reached where he needed as she fell for his trap. She wanted him to fight... So be it. He brought his left arm up and in the next instant, the bow had spawned as he brought his right hand back. The sound of the ice Crystal's forming echoing in the air before he pulled back an arrow and let it fly towards her as he shouted. "Then prove me wrong, if you know how to keep your family in line, try to keep me in line!" He shouted as the arrow was aimed directly at her right knee.
He knew it could be dodged with the distance they had, but his mind was beginning to run as to what she would do next... Left, right, jump? Tank? What could she do that he wasn't thinking of at all!? He had to play smart and his plan was distance for the moment .

'Bored.... Figures.' He thought as he pulled back on the string of his bow, spawning in another arrow of ice. "Then that will make things easy seeing as how you lack to take things seriously... Have you even killed a Grimm by yourself?" He asked as he fired another arrow at her, aimed for her chest before he loaded up another, standing still in the arena as she was within his own range. "Or even thought about those who could challenge and kill you without no one ever knowing?" He asked as he fired again, this time aiming for her neck after her next movement.

She hopped back and to the side once more to dodge the arrow aimed for her chest and smiled as she felt herself drop and land with a familiar crunch of her boot on the earthen floor below the arena. The rhino faunus slid her right leg back bringing her clenched hands to her hips as she settled into a low horse stance. She took a deep calming breath , closed her eyes momentarily, then in a sudden snap she extended her rear leg while turning her torso and leaning forward and bringing her hands up in front of her. Almost immediately the ground in front of her erupted in large stone spikes, jutting over the edge of the arena and piercing up through the panels. "If you're playing that game boy, then I'll bring my semblance in seeing as you're too scared to fight like a real man." Tessa hopped up onto the frontmost spikes and repeated the motion causing a fresh eruption of earthen pikes to punch through the panels. "Unless you plan on throwing a punch I'll start with the ranged game too." ◢ "I'll show you what a real Faunus can do..."...

He watched her move to avoid as the one heading for her neck was broken by her summoned spoke, breaking underneath the ring. He kept his nerves as she seemed to finally take the offensive as she was hopping onto the first spike. His eyes focused as he took another pot shot at her as she brought out another earthen spike, noting her bodies movements. He soon started to run towards her when she jumped, her height greater than his. He remained quiet as his right hand seemed to be covered in ice. As he got closer he brought his hand back, removing the ice from his limb as he flung out a sword towards her jumping form. It was spinning rather quickly in a diagonal direction towards her chest..

"Huh" she mused "So it isn't as strong as blue ice...." she glanced at Cecil as he closed the distance between them and brought her arms up in a shallow defensive position , keeping on the balls of her feet. ◢ "I'll show you what a real Faunus can do..."...

Cecil heard the shattering and nodded his head as he slid on the steel plates a bit, pulling and firing two arrows at her. At that time, his Aura glowed once and his arrows we're strengthened as she held a defensive position. He stopped his slide to roll back as her high height was a bit problematic, but he was thinking of something about the Earth and her.

She seemed to be focusing her Aura heavily on defense as she blocked the arrows using her aura. It was alright, his aimed attacks were dealing damage, not physical.... but they were forcing her to use her aura and each direct hit drained it. He saw her pick up the stone as she threw it, he brought up his bow and side-stepped, using the brunt and center of the bow's frame to hit the tip, smacking it back at her as his bow shattered, only to be immediately recalled into it's form once again as he hopped away from her.

She counted off in her head all she'd done thus far with her semblance,which amounted to two large scale moves, she still had plenty more but preferred not to use them so blatantly, she needed to make sure he couldn't run away like he had been or at least force him to eat away at his aura like he'd been trying to force her to. The rhino faunus kept her eyes trained on the ice wielding student as she hopped from spike to spike, pressing down and snapping the ends and several good sized chunks off with strength alone before hopping down. Tessa took a hunk of stone in each hand and threw them, fastball style, at Cecil, making a relentless barrage of jagged and heavy stones while kicking more stones forward as she distracted him, pressing forward and bringing her ammo with her. ◢ "I'll show you what a real Faunus can do..."...
