Mintaka didn't often involve herself with her husbands negaverse affairs. It made it less complicated and troublesome for him if he didn't have to answer for her actions, being part of the Dark Mirrors.
She was a rare creature in the war that could walk either path of light or dark, and she most often chose to walk Negaverse for their....lesser evil actions. Perhaps it was self preservation or perhaps not.
It was rare though he would confide that he was worried about one of their recruits, and his concern showed mostly for the fact he worried Still faced tribulations. She was privvy to know that Still had been forced, unlike her, and so she worried the woman suffered from Memory....gains.
Perhaps it was her meddling, but Mintaka couldn't leave the woman alone so she had sent a small call to the corrupt to meet her. She had promised the woman a visit to mirrorspace, and she planned to use it as a way to comfort the woman.

She didn't ever think herself to be paranoid, but when she had received the call from Mintaka, it was an immediate reaction to assume they knew something was amiss with her. Like how Nadia had warned. Still knew that, though. When someone deviated from their normal pattern of behavior, that was the first indicator something was wrong. Keeping that in mind, she had been very careful to not slip on her quota. While she wasn't overzealous like she once was, she wasn't slacking either...just what she needed to do to get by... This was Mintaka though, of the Dark Mirror, not the Negaverse, and she did remember that the woman had promised her a visit to Mirror Space. But still...she was not quite so foolish as to dismiss that the woman was probably astute when she wanted to be. Not someone to be underestimated. She couldn't be married to Aurostibite and be anything less. Still answered the call. She had no reason not to. She was curious, and...well. Mintaka hadn't been anything but kind to her. The corrupt arrived at the arranged meeting place, trying to brush off how moving about in this skin of chaos didn't feel...quite as comfortable as it usually did.

It was not long that Mintaka had to wait for the corrupt, and that was particularly amazing in itself. It wasn't like Negaverse rushed to the calls of a Dark Mirror, so she had expected the same of the corrupt. Foolish of her.
Once the corrupt arrived, Mintaka rose from her seat and smiled at the other woman. "Good evening Still." She came over and took her hands, raising them up. Red eyes looking up into the taller woman's.
"I hope you have been well and I am sorry that this trip is long overdue." She let hands go and then stepped closer to the mirror. "I've been very excited to take someone else with me, even with the madness that still clings to me." It had been so much less since Auro and Hydrus's drainings and that was what made her the happiest. She was almost, so very close to being normal again.
"Once we are in, you'll just have to stay close to me! If you ever feel uncomfortable and want to leave, please give me the word!" Mintaka smiled and held her hand out again. "Trust me with yourself tonight?"

"Good evening, Mintaka." Still greeted in return, and was somewhat surprised when the woman took her hands. She was very earnest and open, even more so than their first meeting. "Yes, I've been fine." A cover up of a statement. "And I hope you have been as well." The corrupt shook her head. "No need to apologize. Life happens, and I understand." Still followed after Mintaka as she moved, a brow quirking. "...Madness?" She asked. "What is that?" It seemed like a very surreal word to apply to the calm and collected paradigm of eternal gracefulness that was Mintaka, as well. "Ah, yes. I understand and I will...I'll let you know as well." It just made her even more curious about this place. She looked down at the offered hand, and the words made a corner of her lips quirk up briefly. Trusting someone with herself for a short period of time had drastically altered her life already. She took Mintaka's hand, gently. "I'm ready."

"As well as I can be." And that wasn't a lie. She had been mostly busy with working on the house and turning rooms into more livable situations for anyone that wished to stay in the mansion. After all, 5 years ago she had seen a totally different future then the one she had now with her husband. The only thing that remained was their love for each other.
She smiled at Still, the serene face turning for a second sad. "Madness is what Pandora's box inflicted on me. It was a deep dark type of chaos that emitted from this item...." She held up her personal item, the small box attached to her waist now and then dropped it, "When I ventured too far into Mirrorspace and saw a place that not many would know."
She rose a brow, "It was like a disease and infected many for awhile...but for myself, I suffered the worst. I was captive in the mirrorspace, holding it back for too long and so it rooted itself." She waved her hand, "But it has been awhile and with every burst of madness, it was drained away." She could not tell Still that it physically ached and tired her whenever the madness came, as it destroyed her but...."It was quite a fiasco for me and my husband and brother for awhile." She smiled back at the ship senshi.
Once her hand was taken, she pulled her into the mirror and soon they were in the fogged hallways of the kingdom of mirrors. At least that's what she called it. The castle of the mirror-realm was always shifting. It was gray and foggy and the objects seemed faded, old and classic. Like they were bright spots in an old noir film.
"Welcome to Mirrorspace." She came over a chair and plopped in it for a second. "It's like an old movie you see on the black and whites." She laughed, "We can explore if you like, but I know where we can't go and where we can."

Still listened quietly, and intently, to Mintaka's explanation. She was surprised, but she kept it internalized. There were so many layers to Chaos. So many. Just when she thought she had a grasp on things, something came along to show exactly just how deep the well went. The corrupt eyed the item, and hoped that it wouldn't be a threat now. She wasn't in a position where she needed even more turmoil..."I'm sorry to hear that." She murmured. "But I'm...glad you're still here, and that you were able to pull through." That was said in earnest. She did not wish the woman any ill will, and was glad that she had been able to recover and be here still. Being taken through a mirror though was something else. Ever curious, Still was soaking in the surroundings of this new and fascinating space. Wary, of course, respectful, after what Mintaka had told her. The Dark Mirror was a veteran, and even she had been caught unaware when she ventured too far. This was something else...she wasn't sure she would ever look at a mirror the same way again. "...This is amazing." She breathed, and did kept standing, even as the senshi took a seat. "And you can access this realm from any mirror?" She questioned, and then nodded her head. "Yes,please, I would like to explore, if that would be alright. Wherever and whatever you are willing to show me."

She hadn't meant to scare Still, but she could see the hesitation on her face and the way her gaze dropped to the box. There was something there and then Mintaka smiled again, a lot softer. "The only danger it presents is for me and my own. You don't have to worry." She paused again, "It was a trial but it made me and my husband stronger. We are much better people then we thought we could be." Mags....Aurostibite continued to surprise her. No matter how long she had been dating him, she couldn't help but always be surprised by his commitment. A commitment he once only held for the negaverse.
"If you get sick, let me know. I know travelling between spaces can be a bit daunting and exhaustive to others." But she always felt at home in mirrorspace. As if it was the other piece of her. "I can access with any mirror that is the same size as me. Sadly I cannot use smaller mirrors because we can't fit our bodies through." She tilted her head, "Once the mirror is used though, it becomes a mirror for travelling always. Of course only Dark mirrors can sense this but it remains an open door for us." She smiled, "I plan to drop off us at my home, once we are done wandering through here."
She rose from the seat, moving down the hallway where groans of rooms shifting could be heard. She chose a door at random and opened it for Still. Inside was a mirror copy of a baby's room, only grayer.
"Mirrorspace makes copies of some of the real life objects we see, and then leave them here." She smiled, "I've heard that some mirrorsenshi have found mirrorrealms.....they are suppose to be the versions of our worlds we would've had, had we been allowed access to space and our wonders."
She paused.
"I've been to mine, and it was nothing special. Overgrown bamboo and forestry. Nothing but desolate emptiness and stillness. There isn't a sound of life on it." She tilted her head, "It's nothing I missed when I corrupted."
She looked away. "How are you doing Still?" The question almost came from left field, but it was a leeway she hoped, for if Still wished to share anything.

Still gave Mintaka something of a wry smile. Ah. Had she been that obvious? She really needed to mind herself and her tics that gave her away. Despite chastising herself for displaying her emotions, she immediately couldn't help but soften right after as Mintaka spoke of her bond with her husband. "How wonderful." She murmured. "To know that there is someone with you, who wants to grow with you." Her heart ached. "I shall." She hoped she wouldn't though. To get ill now would ruin this fascinating trip. "And I see." She did love teleporting. It was probably her favorite power perk...Mirror travel seemed fun and interesting, but she felt that teleporting was by far the superior way to travel. Still, each skill set was clearly valuable if you had the access to it. The corrupt followed after Mintaka down the hall, and poked her head into the door the woman opened. It was somewhat startling. To see something so normal cast in monochrome. Though, how normal was it really? Seeing the baby's room made Still realize she hadn't come into much contact with babies since she had woken up. Hadn't been around...and for some reason, it stirred something in her. Which she shelved for the time being, as Mintaka spoke about home worlds. She turned to the other eternal curiously. She was really interested to hear her speak about her world. Her experiences. Mintaka was fascinating to Still for a variety of reasons, but mainly because she had chosen to be here and--- Her thoughts derailed as Mintaka suddenly shifted focus. "Oh, still fine." She replied with a small smile. "No nausea or anything of the like." There was a small pause. "If I may ask...why did you choose Dark Mirror, Mintaka?" She had inquired about the woman's scale of memory loss before, but had never asked why she had done it in the first place.

"It wasn't always that way." She looked over at Still, "I had to make a choice. I couldn't stay with him as order, and he couldn't give up the negaverse for me. I wanted him." Mintaka stared off, "So I chose to throw away everything else for him. It helped I didn't like order as much. They are...and can be, very violent and cruel...even to senshi of their own order."
Her eyes darkened a bit as she remember Megiddo and others that had mocked her for wanting peace.
She saw the deflection and rose a pale eyebrow at the woman, choosing to pick and choose her battle with this one. She knew Still knew what she had meant, and turning it around on her only served to fuel that something was indeed wrong with the corrupt. Perhaps second guessing?
"There was actually many reasons." She brought a hand up and brushed it through her hair, flipping it over her shoulder. "5 years ago, we suffered a lapse in time where we were forced to relieve a future much different then now. I was still white moon, and the dark mirrors had chose to fight along side us in this war. It would end in our demise." She brought her hand down, "The fear of that future had me rethink my future. I did not want to stay order, only to be hunted down and killed. Then Aurostibite and I....we fell in love, but I could not bring myself to be corrupted." She waited, "It felt wrong to me, to rip something out like that. Unlike negaverse corrupting, Mirrors are painless." She kind of laughed.
"Ironic isn't it? I had family that was over here, and they welcomed me as one of their own. All I had to do was step through a mirror?" She tilted...."I don't remember much of my civilian life, just so you know. That was the price. I remember a lot of my powered life and it's why I continue to be the way I am."
She stopped.
"Are you having second thoughts about your corruption, Still?"

Wow. Didn't that sound terribly familiar? Too familiar. It hit her in a way she wasn't expecting. Still was already very interested, now she was just even more so, when some of the woman's circumstances seemed to mirror her own. Still didn't comment, though, especially not about her perception of Order. It was war. Each side committed their own atrocities. Each side thought they were right. When Mintaka went on to explain the why of it, Still listened intently. Once again, something crazy happened. A lapse in time where they lived a possible future? It seemed like something out of a sci-fi novel or movie but...she didn't doubt it, especially not from Mintaka's lips. A possible future where...the Negaverse took over? "How fortunate you are, that things worked out, when you made the choice." Still replied, her tone neutral, but as the Eternal surprised her, yet again, with her next question, Still knew that the ice under her was now thin, and what she said next, needed to be careful. She did not delay in answering, because a silence would be confirmation. A yes would be confirmation. A no would be lying. "What prompts you to ask that, Mintaka?" The corrupt asked, her tone politely curious as a brow rose. Careful. This woman was connected to Aurostibite, who was involved with it all.

"Do you always answer a question with a question?" Mintaka smiled at Still.
It was honestly incentive as the white haired women continued to look around. "I don't play that game. It's a simple question Still, and you are...." She pursued her lips, "safe with your words in mirrorspace."
She opened another door, wandering in and peering at even smaller mirrors that were lined up on shelves. Though their reflections did not peer back at them.

Still was glad Mintaka had turned from her, briefly. She couldn't help the flash of irritation that caused her brows to knit, even if only briefly. It wasn't at the question to her question, or the admonishment that followed about playing a game. "It's not just a simple question." The corrupt replied, "And I am not safe here." The woman followed after the other regardless, because she kept in mind Mintaka's warnings about not becoming separated from her as they moved through mirror space. "And as kind as you have been, it does not mean you are trustworthy." It wasn't an accusation though. Simply a truth. Especially not when she was married to Aurostibite.

"Because I'm married to someone in the Negaverse." Mintaka laughed.
"I think you're the one being Naive here." She tilted her head away and then exited the room. "If you didn't have second thoughts about the negaverse, I would be more concerned."
She turned on her heel though, "But don't think for a second Still, that I am your enemy. I am not. I do not answer to them, and I do not answer to my husband. What I choose to share with him is myself, not other people." Eyes flashed with irritation as well.
"Now tell me the truth Still....." Mintaka looked at her, "Did you find out the truth of your corruption?"

She wasn't sure how Mintaka managed it. She hadn't had anyone press her like this, so quickly, since she had waken up. Hadn't felt irritation just shoot through her like this before. "It's not naive to be careful, and I won't be lectured by someone who had the luxury of choice." After the saying that, she felt something jolt through her. Dredges of fragments. That Olga had been nothing but naive. Naive and stupid, and that's why she--- Still kept on Mintaka's heels. The situation was ironic. She didn't exactly want to be following her when she was being pressed, but knew she didn't have a choice when she needed to stay close. Her mind was racing through, processing the woman's words. Yes. Dark Mirror was separate, and she remembered what Mintaka had said when they had first met. How even though both sides were Chaos, there was much hostility between the two. The corrupt paused as Mintaka turned on her heel, and she stared down at the woman she towered over. There was a long moment of silence on Still's part. It would seem that she had been thoroughly sussed out by the woman, and she wondered how. Felt a bit of panic edge in at the thought she might be set up to--- "I don't have one hundred percent certainty but---" She finally said, after a moment, "But enough memories from others to cross reference to form a solid enough truth." She hoped they weren't damning words. Didn't think they were. As long as she still performed her duties, and didn't speak publicly about it then...

"It is when you weren't careful before...." Mintaka let the irritation fade out of her, because she hadn't come here to intimidate the woman. It seemed though, that it was required because Still didn't know who she trusted. How could she blame her.
"Choice is a relative term, now isn't it?" She cocked her head, "Choice implies that you think I had one. But perhaps my choice would be better termed as 'forced within reason' now wouldn't it? I lost memories too." She rose her brow at Still. "I don't tell you everything about myself Still, and I do not expect the same, but do not disrespect me in my own space." She lifted her chin, "As I have done nothing disrespectful to you."
She moved to another room, this time one filled with odd trinkets. It looked, honestly like an old pawn shop and it was the most objects she had seen in a room forever.
"It's enough to question and pursue a line of truth." Mintaka nodded her head, "You were corrupted Still, and by your own words-" Because she said Mintaka had a choice, "Forcibly. I will not pretend that I didn't know, I did. Why do you think I offered my hand in friendship?" She sighed and came over to the woman, who tried to tower over her and reached up. "Stillwaterite, I am a dark mirror senshi, and all I want is happiness for my fellow senshi. Nothing breaks my heart more then corruption. Do you think I could be happy being forced? I could ask no one to make the best of what little remains they are given." She brushed some of the bangs away from Still's face.
"So you have found enough of the truth." She waited and then scrunched her nose. "I cannot apologize for my husband. He is a man who follows the orders of others. I cannot give what he has taken away from you...." But she held out her arms, "But if you seek to punish or retribute some anger, let it come to me and here."
