Lilacmoon yawned as she came back from her unsuccessful hunt. She had been so very tired lately with no clear reason why other than the lack of food. It could also be attributed to her trying to bring back as much nesting supplies as she could for the clan. She paused as she thought of the talk surrounding Goldenleaf lately. It had been a surprise when the she-cat had announced the pregnancy. She didn't know if Goldenleaf had also spoke of the father of the kits as she hadn't had time to seek out the other female as hunting patrols and material gathering were needed in this woefully harsh time. She thought of Goldenleaf with her litter playing in the sun and smiled. She remembered the queens of the past and how they would complain all through their pregnancy, but change their minds completely once they saw their tiny faces. She loved helping out the queens, even when they got to the point that moving was a strain for them, she also loved babysitting the kittens. She sighed happily at the thought. Kittens would always be her passion, she loved watching them grow and explore. She wondered if Goldenleaf would allow her to babysit for her after they were born. She quickly padded off to Goldenleaf's nest to see if she would like to have some company for the rest of the afternoon.
