 Lin, while a solitary cat when it came to his own home (he shuddered at the thought of having to share his domain with another), was rather social when it came to the outside world. Often he would strike up a conversation with his fellow felines on the other side of the fence. He was accustomed to sharing gossip with Bell, a tomcat he knew well. With gossip came rumors of the beyond. Of cats that were feral and untamed. Lin had often disregarded such fanciful notions. Cats were meant to be praised by their housefolk and waited on paw and tail. The thought of a cat living outside indefinitely, catching birds to sustain itself... It was unthinkable. Lin would often huff away such commentary in his presence and return inside.
Yet, as of late, there was one such rumor that held a particular interest to Lin. Rumors of a mysterious and beautiful she-cat, who roamed the wilderness and occasionally passed through the houses where house cats like himself would spy her. Thus far, there had only been brief sightings, but no one had ever spoken to her. Lin had decided that if there was such a ravishing she-cat to be had, that he would have to be the first in the neighborhood to speak to her and perhaps, invite her to sit and talk with him a while.
So, he had been staying outside for longer periods of time as the days went by. It was late in the afternoon then, so late that the colors off the sky began to change, signaling dusk's approach. Rather than admire the changing sky as he might have on a separate day, Lin sat on his fence top, staring out at the trees and wild grasses. Would he see the mysterious she-cat that evening? Or was she just a phantom rumor that some kit created in attempts to gain popularity? He supposed he would have to find out for himself, one way or another.

 Zoey waited in the bushes. The twolegs just wouldnt give up looking for her. And here she had thought that they were simple creatures with simple minds. She had assumed they would get bored and go back about their lives. She was was wrong. But tonight she heard them turn in earlier than usual and she made her way out in the fading light, her pelt glowed golden and she looked majestic with her size and glimmering pelt. She turned her firey eyes to the fence and sniffed. Something was off? She tilted her head up, for such a tall cat, looking up wasnt really ingrained in her. Sh spotted the kittypet there and tipped her head. Her long Serval ears flicking curiously.
There were so many cats around here.... She had been trying to avoid most of them, running into Thomas that first day just made her see how different she was. It was hard to explain her differences to the other cats. But here she was, staring at a cat with a pale blue collar, waiting to see if he would sound an alarm or if she was going to be on her way..

Lin's gaze had been searching the bushes, his mouth hanging slightly open to taste any unfamiliar scents nearby. He was starting to debate going inside for that evening, he didn't want his housefolk to worry after needlessly and he had a tendency to occasionally curl up with them in their beds. However, with a change of a breeze and a slight movement, he saw an outline, tall and mysterious, move through the bushes and then take pause. He narrowed his eyes, leaned forward slightly, hoping to catch a better glimpse, when his bright blue eyes met orange ones.
He stared at her with awe in his gaze and let out a soft purr of delight. He'd found this mysterious cat that the rumors were about! Not wanting to let her walk on without trying to speak with her, the quiet mew fell clumsily out of his mouth.
"Wait! Don't go, please. I've heard a bit about you, but... who are you, if I may ask?" He inquired, ears perked and eyes round.
