Stellarite had sent her another message to meet in the castle and Amazone was THRILLED. She didn't want to talk about the debacle that was the manor and she felt so bad that Izzy had gotten dragged in too because....because well honestly it just sucked.

BUT INSTEAD, She was being called down to see her mistress and that made her so excited! Especially since she wanted to report she was making friends with other people! Corrupts that weren't under Stella.

"Helloooooo General!!!" She burst in and immediately went to her generals side. "Thank you so much for calling on me again!" Her gaze cut around, looking for Peri before relaxing. "Are we going to be doing something together, mistress Stella?"

Stellerite didn't miss the apprehension in Amazone's demeanor when she looked around and it took some work to keep the amusement from twisting her lips up. Periclase was no where to be found, because, while the general enjoyed watching people fight over her...constantly putting her subordinates in situations against each other when there was an undercurrent of dislike could have consequences she didn't care to deal with.

Besides, it would serve her lieutenants well to be exposed to magic before they stumbled upon it on the field.

"Well--" the blonde had started, but Argelite arrived and was tossed a warm smile. "It takes some time to get used to, we'll take a tour later. How does that sound?"

Ushering both girls in, and taking the time to shut the door behind them, she took the time to introduce them. "Argelite, this is Amazone. I believe you two have met, as civilians. I was hoping to run some training simulations, get you both used to potentially fighting with members of the other factions. Ideally, we focus on turning our enemies into our allies, but sometimes physical confrontation cannot be avoided and I would rather prepare you for the worst."

A tour around the castle sounded like a great idea, but what caught Argellite's attention more was the fact that she and the corrupt standing opposite her had actually met before. For a second or two the lieutenant looked puzzled, brows creased and lips twisted as she looked the senshi over. Then Amazone made the logical leap. "Oh! That's right!" God, that'd been an evening...

But, she had enjoyed the other girl's company. She was nice, and out going enough to have made the party, before s**t had hit the fan, fun. "Yeah, I mean, danger aside it was great," she agreed easily.

So she'd been right to assume they'd be sparring. That had Argellite smiling proudly up at their general before turning back to Amazone. "I'm totally game." She really didn't have the first clue about effective fighting, so any sort of experience was valuable. And with Stella there with them to help, it'd make this experience all the more enriching.

Agrellite looked across at the other girl with a small frown tiring at her lips. Treat each other as threats, it was easy to say, but harder to act on. Especially because she knew this girl, had hung out with her outside of the uniform. That made it harder to compartmentalize the person from the exercise.

Harder, but not impossible.

The frown faded, replaced by a look of quiet determination, and the lieutenant darted in with aquick jabbing punch to the abdomen.

If she was going to be Chrysie's partner she needed to be all to not just defend herself, but be capable of protecting the other girl as well. That meant being stronger, training, working. That meant listening to their general and completing any and all tasks placed before her.

Agrellite's jab didn't quite connect, but it had brought her into range of the senshi's magic, and all at once the lieutenant knew exactly what their general had been talking about when she'd warned to keep on her toes. Lesson learned

She got a face of wet sand that knocked her back and damn near off balance, but she managed to cling to her balance as she coughed and rubbed at the sand coating her face. It was a good attack, distracting and debilitating, the realization of that had the girl dropping her arm again despite the slight sting of sand still in her eyes. She had to remain focused.

With teeth grit she charged a second time, and this time when she pulled her fist back it was the other girl's chest she was aiming at.

It connected!

Truthfully Agrellite was as surprised as her senshi teammate, but delightfully so. She had no real training in combat, and it wasn't as if gym class really prepared you for this sort of thing.

"I, uh. I kinda just go for it?" Which she did again, bouncing forward and half turning to throw her elbow at the other girl's chest.

She wasn't looking for openings because she didn't know how to do that just yet, and her strikes, while effective, lacked proper form. She was trying to mimic the sort of fighting she saw in movies and shows and hoping for the best.
