Murder mysteries - Probably the strangest hobby of someone who is mostly made up of sunshine and rainbows, Teddi’s enjoyment of murder mysteries, true crime, and other morbid curiosities comes as kind of a shock to those who knew her as the sort of person who likes cats and Lisa Frank stickers. Teddi, on the other hand, finds it all fascinating on a morbid sort of level - she doesn't romanticize any of it, but a rainy day will find her sitting at home watching true crime documentaries with a cup of hot chocolate.
Wikipedia and obscure knowledge - Need to know what extra was in an episode of Bones but also in House? Want to know which mammal was first on the endangered list? Have no fear, Teddi is here with possibly the most useless and random assortment of knowledge one could possibly have. She's forgetful and easily lost, but she can tell you who started Daylight Savings Time and what a group of ravens is called because Teddi spends way way too much time on Wikipedia.
Baking - Cookies!! Pies!! Croissants!! Teddi will make them for you and make them with a smile, although she does tend to stress bake - meaning that you'll find her at two in the morning trying to make sure that her second batch of mini lemon meringue pies is absolutely perfect. If it's not, she's just going to start all over again (but she won't waste the first batch, because that's no good, either).
Virtues:
Cheerful - She loves you! She loves you and you and you and you! Positivity is always key to a good day, and Teddi is one of those people who just wants you to know what a great day it is and how awesome all of you are. She is endlessly buoyant, fascinated by everything, and genuinely interested in how you are and what your day has been like so far.
Gregarious - The sort of person to easily make friends, Teddi will Friend You until you Friend Her back. She is determined to make everyone happy and to show that you can be happy and excited and eager to talk to people, and the best thing about it is that it's one hundred percent genuine. Teddi wants to be your friend, and not just for show, and that makes it easy for her to talk to a lot of different people without being self-conscious about it.
Kind-hearted - If you need someone to come and pick you up from a party in the middle of the night, Teddi is your girl. If you need someone to talk to after a bad breakup, Teddi will bring you ice cream and let you sit with your head in her lap while she tells you how amazing you are and how shitty your ex is. She will go out of her way to do nice things for everyone and anyone she can.
Flaws:
Loyal to a fault - Loyalty can be good, but at the same time, it means that Teddi has a very hard time accepting that people can also be bad and do bad things. She doesn't want to admit or believe that people she cares about have negative aspects to them; she would much rather try and convince everyone else that they're either mistaken or not seeing things clearly instead of facing the facts.
Bottled up - As kind as Teddi is, she is not the sort of person to freely say how she's feeling. Everything is positive; everything is good, and any negative feelings or upset or anger or irritation is all buried down deep inside of her. She doesn't want people to see her at her lowest, or at a place where she feels she isn't the bubbly, outgoing person she is most of the time. Instead, she continues to suppress every negativity in an unhealthy and almost obsessive manner, to the point where it will consume her if she lets it get too far.
Soft-hearted - Her deeply nurturing and sweet nature gives Teddi a kind and soft heart - but one that is easily manipulated. Her inability and unwillingness to see the bad in people means that it can be quite easily taken advantage of or stepped on; and her lack of admitting this means that people can push and push and take and take without Teddi ever standing up for herself.
