As the title says this is an open RP. That being said it is an upscale tea party at a wealthy family estate.

I made this primarily for people who have "royalty" characters and nothing to do with them in everyday life.

If you do not have any "noble" or well dressed characters you are more than welcome to participate but

know you have to play them as if they are in fancy attire as there is a dress code for such a formal gathering.

For sanity's sake please follow along with what is occurring.

Overtime I will post an updated situation, for instance serving lunch or having tea!

The date of the party is finally here. It seems as if you have been waiting for this day to come for ages. By following the directions provided you have arrived at the mansion fashionably early. Before you stands a large iron gate bearing the familiar three candied crest. The symbol perfectly matches the seal on the invitation and assures you that this is indeed the place. As you ascend up a multicolored path you can't help but note how plain the exterior seems. Upon reaching the large double doors you are met by the staff of the house. They greet you by name and inform you that your hostess awaits you in the ballroom. As they escort you through the grand foyer you feel as though you have stepped onto the pages of a storybook. You never would've guessed such treasures had awaited you from outside. The sweet aroma of sugar and fruits floats faintly through the air however a part of your intuition tells you not everything is as it seems. Had you not known better you would assume the manor was made entirely of various hard candies. Everything from the architecture down to the details of the furniture mimicked whimsical confectionary patterns. One could easily believe the Von Schweetz Estate was something straight out of a fairytale.

The ballroom was a rather straight shot from the lavish foyer where you stand currently. Surprisingly the manor is quiet, the click of your footsteps echoing down the halls. Overhead were handcrafted arches with large sloping curves or smooth spirals at the bases like spun sugar, all vividly hued to show a mastery of color and form. As you approach the doors made of vivid stained glass you feel as though you must be dreaming. The scents of sweets still tempting your senses, you for a moment forget whats real and instead wonder what they must taste like. When you push past the doors you finally lay your eyes on the true masterpiece where the festivities are being held. Looking at the floor you notice its a massive mosaic of the family's best selling treats with a heavy layer of real glass separating the eatable treats from the world above. Due to this large glass sheet laying on the floor, it would appear as though one is floating. It is disorienting at first but then fills you with a feeling thats almost magical as you walk across. Along the sides of the room you note what seems to be massive columns of pepper mint. The swirling stripes guide your eyes the ceiling where a massive chandelier hangs over head. Dozens of arms cradle small lights which blanket the room in a glow that shimmers softly. Upon closer inspection you realize the piece is a blown sugar creation that only a master craftsman could've designed. You are so entranced by the decor you don't even notice the many tables that are set up around the room. Each table seemed to have its own theme with a centerpiece inspired by a well known candy.

The car had left the two of them just outside of the gates, and Albert took his wife's arm and entwined it with his, looking at the mansion. "Well my dear, I hope that this is as interesting as it's supposed to be. I'm surprised that it took so long for us to be invited here." It had been too long. For quite a while Albert had been trying to get invited to a party at the mansion, if only to acquire more business acquaintances, but had been unsuccessful so far. Less because he couldn't do it, and more because it seemed as though they hardly ever hosted any parties!

It was a bit absurd in his mind. A large mansion always seemed to be begging to have more people in it, if only for a little while.

He walked with his wife up to the front door, making sure that neither of them tripped or fell along the way and were let inside. Immediately Albert smelled the sweet aroma coming from the mansion and could almost feel the diabetes as it crept it's way from his feet all the way to his mouth. He liked sweets, even if he wasn't supposed to have any, but the smell was overwhelming. "Er well... I suppose it certainly does follow it's theme doesn't it dear?" He hoped that they had something strong such as Earl Gray tea to keep the sweet taste away from his mouth. They were quickly led into the ballroom, and Albert couldn't help but look at the style. Certainly not one he would have picked, but then again, he didn't have the Von Schweetz attached to his name, and he wasn't known for making confectionery.
