I was in charge of the customer support team.
Flynn is still a thing, I was actually supposed to be updating it but got really busy. I'm handing that responsibility off to someone else who can hopefully take better care of it than me.

You guys are awesome and I appreciate all of you.
Hey regular Gaians, I know a lot of you like to throw smoke at the mod team for the s**t they have to do. But I've been part of this team for 12 years. These guys are ******** incredible and the stuff they have to deal with and work on you would never be able to dream of. I know stuff seems a bit freaky sometimes, but this team is the best mod team I have ever seen in community websites I have been on and visited. Their work is tiring and thankless, and even though they volunteer for it it's coming from a place of passion and dedication for the site to give you all a better experience.
If you think you're better than the team and know better, then put your money where your mouth is and apply. Doing the job is a lot harder than you would actually think and the trials and tribulations you go through as a team member are immense. Bring it.

1. The mod and internal team here. Without them we couldn't run this site and we couldn't provide you guys the experiences you love (and love to hate).

When will lake kindred and zomg get updated for platinum conversion rates? Zomg gets 1 plat per kill which is kinda low I'd hope it'd be alteast 5 plat per kill, and on lake kindred its 1 plat no matter what when gold you can get 1 bill 2 bill and so forth.
That's on my to do list, hope I'll get to it after the server move.

I just came back to gaia recently after a 7 year hiatus. And i cannot seem to find monster Galaxy on gaia or Facebook games. Is there still a way to Play Monster Galaxy?
The best way is to play the iphone or android app, but it should still be on Facebook last time I check.

Well, the most exciting thing I'm working on is the new Towns system. We will be starting with Rally. This is a remake of the flash spaces into HTML5. This means we will be able to have virtual spaces on mobile devices.
I miss towns events too. Maybe we can have them in the future.

Sorry we had bee super busy with the server migration since 3 months ago, but Codemonkey is busy with the Towns 3 and we should be able to add event activities in Towns after it's completed.

Are the item bugs, when making avatars related to the server changes? I tried changing to a saved avatar and it said items were missing and other items were things they are, my part time job mood bubble appears as a collar or just not at all

Monday's don't work so well due to our being back after a weekend and playing catch up. Friday's don't work because at the end of the week we are usually wrapping things up. Wednesday and Thursday just seem to be late in the week, so Tuesday gets it smile

Last ATS, I was told by Lanzer that we'd be able to do the Trick or Treating in Barton Town to get the two badges 'Jack O'Smasher' and 'Pumpkin Kin'. However, before the server migration, there weren't any pumpkins by the NPCs to click on to even be able to do the trick or treating. Will this problem be rectified, so we can be able to work towards claiming our badges?

Is there a reason I get this error "502 Bad Gateway" if I try to reach Gaia in a regular browser but I can get there if I use an incognito browser?
Some servers seem to get nasty errors randomly, we're trying to put in monitoring systems to quickly identify them and remove those servers.

When I do quick reply and prfor9the captcha, other just check or select picture, it will be successful but when o clock reply, it won't post

I've been away for 10 long years and glade to be back. I notice the site hasn't change much, I guess if it isn't broken don't fix it right. Anyways my question is, do you guys see yourself updating the site for modern times? A lot of time site still run on flash. I'm studying Game Design at Full Sail University, when I graduate maybe I can work you guys 3nodding or just do some networking with you guys because I know for a fact networking is important.

Sadly, I just got home the other day from the hospital & I tried to buy the Animal item that was in there for the Halloween sale. It didn't have a timer listed on it, so I tried buying it. I got a receipt, but didn't get the item ;_; I guess its time was up in the shop...(at least from what I had read about a diff item purchase someone made & posted about in the bug forums)

Ahhh the stores were suffering Leaving Lag big time once migration started, items should leave the store once the time is up, but we were experiencing strange bugs. If Gcash was deducted from your account, please file a billing ticket! Sorry about that

Who's smart idea was it to keep the site up during the "big server migration" anyway?
Would it not have been better if was shut down for a few days to squash any annoying bug that would eventually appear.

We actually tested whatever we can for a week before the switch over, but the whole site is so complex with so may unforeseen issues that many issues either doesn't show up until the system is under heavy load or when new file systems were put online. We had a lot of technologies that were built more than 10 years ago that were migrating to new technologies. It's been a tough ride.

I don't even know where that feature is anymore.
However, in towns 2, back in 2015 when I knew I was leaving Gaia the first time, I coded Halloween and Christmas to turn on automatically, so it should be there.
