"I think that it might be fun, what do you think Vorel?" He asked as he looked down at the surface of the water that was the pool in his father's classroom. He'd been told once that he should learn at least the basics of swimming so as he would be able to take care of himself were he to ever fall in or something.
He fluffed his wings up and looked over at the Frost Dragon that was currently stalking around the edge of the pool, reaching out now and again to slap at the surface giving excited sounds when it splashed up into the air on impact, "Arawr!" He told Ligeian looking over at him and smirked.
"I'm taking that as a yes." He murmured then knelt down next to it and reached a hand out to the touch the surface, it wasn't as if he were never near water he DID bath after all but that was mostly showers and the water was warmer then this. Not that the cold bothered him or anything like that...
He looked over as the dragon started to amble around towards him, "Ah! Ah! Vorel... wait slow dow..."
There was an impact and the two of them falling in. There was a moment where Ligeia paniced, flailing his limbs in all directions before he realized he was both in the shallow end and that Vorel had hold of his shirt so he'd never once gone under, "Oh... ahh... this isn't so bad I guess." He murmured, then pushed up to his feet, the water seeming to only come up to his waist in this area, "Not to bad at all."
Vorel released his friend then went pouncing around through the shallow end seeming to only make bigger and bigger waves as he went, no doubt that was the point of all the splashing.
(( Orpheus is present, no doubt planning a class or something. ^_^ So there IS a good lifeguard ))

Class had finished some time before, and no one was there to take her home, so she decided to find something else to do, if she could manage to find anything. On and on they went, the doors never ended, and the worse part of it was that they were all shut! Why did everyone have to shut and lock all the doors, anyways? It didn't seem at all logical to her, although doors were nice, well, they made to nice of blockages. It seemed like she had been navigating her way through the halls for hours, even though it had probably been less than ten minutes, Sahra felt as if she would been wandering about forever.
Maybe she would die trekking in the halls? Maybe someday someone would find her skeleton jammed in a floor board or a box or something. She needed to make an effort to escape! Yes, because the walls were closing in and-- oh light, and lots of it, pouring out into the hall just ahead. Someone was there? She would certainly have to see.
Approaching the ajar door, cautiously and curiously, the small spotted being slipped her head around the door corner. Oh, it was a familiar room, none the less, one she had been in many times before. But who was there? Was anyone even in here? She wandered inward, gazing around; she didn't spot a single soul anywhere, what a let down! Folding her arms behind her neck, tapping her clawed foot impatiently on the ground, she took a few moments to think over what she would do next.

Vorel ceased his splashings and looked around a moment, lifting his head to sniff at the air. Did he smell something new? Someting different? Something... Ah! "Ararrrr?!" And he was up and out of the pool and on his back legs, trying to be taller so that he may spot the origin of this new scent.
"Whatca doing Vorel?" Ligiea asked, climbing out of the water and shook off his wings before going to stand next to the frosty one.
"Marawrrawr!" As if Ligeia could fully understand not only Dragon Speak but BABY dragon speak which was far more complicated.
"Erm..."
And then Vorel was off and the owl gave a squeak as he chased after him, "Wait! Vorel! Careful, careful, careful!" He called after him. Oh please don't let him eat anyone or something equally as bad!

What to do, what to do? She couldn't decide, how indecisive she had grown, it was nearly a fault. But Sahra didn't associate herself with such matters, she much rather be doing something exciting than thinking about her own weaknesses. Maybe she could just stay in here and do something? Climb a tree or just scavenge around, yeah, that sounded okay, hopefully it wouldn't get her in trouble.
Sahra began to hum a song to herself, something her sister had gotten stuck in her head earlier that morning; she had a bad habit of doing that. But it gave her something to think about besides boredom, which was nice. "Huh?" She turned quickly on one heel, feeling like she was being stalked, Sahra peered about, looking from one side of the room to the other, but in all the wrong directions. Was she just paranoid? Or was something really...out there?
"Wait a second, I thou--" Then as she turned once more, she spotted a blur of blue charging at her. "WAH!" She jumped, hair on end, she didn't know what the thing was, and didn't want to know! But where could she go!? She looked around frantically, trying to find a place-- oh up a tree! That would have to work, but the nearest tree was to far away! And then the instincts kicked in, she darted quickly over to a patch of bushes, and dove underneath them. Nearly getting her black shirt caught up on the branches, she shivered, trying to stop herself from breathing to loudly. What was that thing? And what did it want with her?

Vorel gave chase as far as the bushes that she went to hide in and merely set to running in circles around them giving sounds of excitement! He'd found it! Found the pretty smell! It was from a kitty!
Ligeia gave a squeak and ran over, wrapping his arms around Vorel's middle, "No! No Vorel we do not chase other students!" He said, pulling him away from the bushes that the girl had ducked into, "I'm sorry!" He called, "Very, very sorry! He's just overly enthusiastic about somethings."
Vorel gave what was the dragon equivilent to a pout as he was pulled back away from where the kitty was, how dull... and it was looking it was gonna be a fun game too!

After twitching and taking a few moments to let her heart stop feeling like it would jump out of her chest, Sahra edged out away from her cover. She wasn't to quick to expose herself, though, feeling slightly threatened, since she didn't know what or who she was up against. "Uh..." She blinked, stopping while she was still half covered by branches, she stopped. Looking up, she smirked, laughing embarrassedly, "It's fine, I, I just, well, I'm a bit jumpy."
Yanking herself out, her shirt had gotten stuck after all, and it had taken some effort to escape from the wrath of the bush. It sent her tumbling forward, landing on her side, she darted to her feet. "Oh, I'm sorry if I interrupted something! Didn't mean to barge in or anything, I was just trying to find something to do." Sah wasn't sure about this situation, nope, didn't feel quite right. The person that stood before her of course looked slightly familiar, and it seemed the blue thing wasn't going to hurt her, so, why did she feel so out of place? She quickly shrugged it off, realizing that the two creatures where wet, she grinned. "Swimming or something?" She asked curiously.

Ligeia released Vorel who set back to his circling of the catgirl, looking her over closely with his gem like blue eyes then gave another sound of interest before crouching down and making his way towards her, slowly this time so as not to scare her away.
"Yeah, swimming... well... no. It was more lik-Eeeee... well that I was standing in the shallow end trying to work up the courage for swimming and Vorel... h-Eeee was just trying to make bigger and bigger waves." He said, flapping his wings a bit then turned to watch the Frost Dragon, hoping that he wouldn't get himself into any more trouble.
"His name is Vorel. H-Eeee won't hurt you. Your just new so hes wanting to get a closer look I think." He told Sahra.

Eyeing the odd creature that was circling her; he didn't seem so bad at all, at least not bad enough to be life threatening. But he did make her feel a bit uneasy, not knowing what he was, or why he was so intent on coming so close. She turned about, following the dragon, she grinned, stopping a moment later and turning back to face the other. "Oh, I see." Swinging her tail about, Sahra was surely beginning to feel a lot more at ease, seemed they had something in common! "I am afraid of water, never really been able to get very good at swimming because of it." She shrugged, amused by her own response.
She tilted her head, orange and red hair flipping up over her face. "Pfft! Ack." She quickly swatted it away, annoyed by its devious intentions! She needed to remember to get a hair cut sometime soon; the length was just getting out of control! "Vorel, huh? So he's your dragon? That's nice. I still don't really know what a dragon is, but I do know a little bit about mine." She shrugged, not minding the dragon creature he called Vorel so much anymore, she plopped back down onto the ground, not making much effort to jump aside, or hide, or back away.

Vorel crouched down a little bit more then lifted a hand up to paw at Sahra's tail, pretty tail.
"I've just r-Eeeeeally had no interest in swimming much but Daddy said that it would be best to l-Eeeearn the basics in case I fell in." Ligeia said watching Vorel more closely then gave a squeaked, "NO!" When it looked like the dragon was thinking on attempting to taste the tail in front of him.
The dragon lifted his head then gave a back and forth swish of his tail in an annoyed sort of way, damn so close. He then went back to bouncing around the two of them a few times before running back towards the pool having found it more amusing.
Ligeia watche him run off and laughed before looking over to Sahra, "Your w-Eeeeelcome to come with us. You don't have to swim yourself." He just figured it may be a good idea to keep an eye on Vorel.

Twisting around, her eyes became glued to the dragon as he went about doing what ever he was doing? She wondered what he had in mind, not feeling so sure that it was necessarily good for her. But soon he was sent off, or at least he left her alone, so, it was just fine. "Oh? Swimming can be fun sometimes, if you're with someone else at least." Sahra nodded, it had always been fun, dragging her sister into the water with her.
"Okay." It sounded good to her, she rather sit at the side of the pool and watch them swim then go back out and wander the halls! Maybe she'd even manage to get herself to go in the water, but, she wouldn't press her luck. Again the cheetah leapt to her feet, edging towards the direction of the pool, she tilted her head in interest, wondering what the dragon would do?

Ligeia followed after the two giving a sigh of relief, good Vorel seemed to have done well enough with his first meeting of someone else if you left out the part where he tried to scare her to death and his thoughts of eating her tail. He was sure for a dragon that wasn't to bad a meeting. He made it back to the pool in time to see Vorel do a Draconic version of the 'cannonball' and he lifted his wings up to protect himself from the onrush of water that was soon falling from the sky.
"He seems to like it." He said with a laugh, flapping his wings free of water after it had all come down. His attention then went to Vorel watching him pouncing about, making waves once more.
The snowy owl smiled before he sat down on the edge of the pool and carefully slid into the shallow part, not quite brave enough to go any deeper as of yet.

Watching on contently, Sahra had followed along, and soon seated herself at the edge of the pool. Her eyes were switching between "observing" both the dragon and the boy. It was interesting to see how others reacted, especially when she didn't know much about them in the first place, it was the real way that she got to know people. The dragon, whom the winged fellow had referred to as "Vorel" was particularly interesting, since she didn't know much about dragons, and she wanted to learn in order to prepare herself for her own.
"I can see that." She let out a small laugh, kicking her feet in the water and making waves of her own, she grinned, seemingly quite amused. Maybe she would get in after all! It didn't seem any different from the tidal planes, and she didn't have to go out into the deep end, besides, someone else was there, a "lifeguard" as they called it, right? She shrugged, scooting closer to soak her legs in the water, it was a good thing she never wore shoes, and a good thing she had decided not to wear anything on her ankles today. "So how are you getting along with Vorel?" She asked curiously, tilting her head, not exactly expecting an answer, she wondered how she and her own dragon would get along?

"He's normally quite easy to get along with." He told her then gave a squeak as the dragon hopped towards him and then onto him so that Ligeia land on his backside in the shallow waters with the dragon on his lap. Vorel was just... exciteable. Rather like he'd gotten into Daddy's coffee or something. He was still young yet and thusly had a lot of energy.
Ligeia lifted his wings up so that they would be as far out of the water as they could get until he was about to push Vorel off of him and got up to his feet, "Have you been able to s-Eeeee your egg yet?" He asked of Sahra as he shook off some of the water and tossed hi sodden hair over his shoulder.
He wondered how Vorel would react to another dragon, so far he'd only been around a few different people and only seen a couple of the dragon eggs on the way out of the Incubation Facility, he'd seen no out and about dragons yet.

"Oh I see~" She grinned happily, kicking away rather contently. It was interesting to watch the dragon interact with his companion, how they reacted to each other, and just in general how things went. It sort of reminded her of the relationship she had with her sister, and it made her wonder if she and her own dragon would get along that way? She hoped so.
"My egg? Yeah, I've seen it quite a few times now. Last time I went a guy told me that it should be hatching soon! I can't wait to meet my dragon, especially after meeting Vorel." Sahra knew now for sure that she wanted to meet Ephrem, which was what she had decided on naming him, after she had spent many evenings with Aja reading through a name book they had borrowed from a library.

Ligeia gave a flutter of his wings, "I was there when Vorel came out of his egg, it was just... v-Eeeeery wow!" He murmured, there was no other way to describe getting to see something being born. He looked over at the dragon as it seemed to be trying to pounce on the waves he created which only made bigger ones for him to get to tackle. He gave a smile as he watched his dragon, and fluffed up feeling quite happy at that moment. It was an odd feeling that appeared in his chest when he watched, warm and loving. Something he had until this point only felt for his father, affectionate, family like feelings.
He wondered what Vorel was to him, a sibling maybe? Or like... his child? Hard to tell since Vorel was the same size as him.
Vorel gave a little jump and flap getting himself up out of the water and shook off much like a puppy would before trotting over to where Sahra say, plopping down next to her, "Puuuurawr!" He told her matter-of-factly.
