Can survive severe blood loss as a trump card, though it takes at least a week of rest to regain said ability. Biography:
Daniel was born alone, left behind in a dark alley in the midst of a storm. Thankfully his ability manifested at birth so as long as he was fed he wouldn't immediately die from being abandoned. After a week of solitude and on deaths door, the baby was found by local authorities. One of the renowned detectives of the police force decided to adopt the boy, obviously intrigued by the baby's will-power to live and unique ability. The newly adoptive parents slowly nurtured Daniel and loved him as much as they could. As he grew he quickly turned into quite the mischievous child and was nearly too much for his adoptive parents to handle. He'd always end up injured from something and was constantly called a klutz. Though during his early years the only thing his power was good for was fighting off disease and healing very minor wounds such as paper cuts. His father tried his best to keep Daniel on the straight and narrow but for the most part all that did was make the boy curious about everything else that he wasn't allowed to do. Of course he was surrounded by law enforcement on a daily basis so he wasn't allowed much freedom during his youthful years, his families friends constantly worried about the boy finding too much trouble for him to handle alone. Though the innocent and curious boy had no idea of the dangers of the world due to so much protection shielding him from the ugly parts of the world.
That all changed on his thirteenth birthday.
For his birthday, a party was thrown in the nearby city at a small family friendly karaoke place. The boy was ecstatic and excited since he didn't go to the city too often. Eventually he ended up wandering outside and into the city, preparing to explore on his own with no restrictions! Unfortunately the naive boy was quickly fooled into doing many regrettable things...
Somehow he had stumbled into a very shady part of the city, stopping in front of a group that seemed to have anything but his best interest in mind. With sugar-layered words and blatant lies, the group of adults tricked the boy into following them for some "fun". The naive boy had no idea how much of a demand there was for cute young boys like himself. There's a saying that goes "It doesn't matter if a fish is male or female so long as it's tasty." and describes the following quite on the nose. The following period of time was a hellish blur to Daniel, the putrid smell of musk and sweat filled his nose daily and he was constantly injected with something he was told was a "Happy juice" to keep him calm. Little did he know they were hooking him on Heroin to keep his mind dull and his body needing more, enough to do "anything" they wanted. Unfortunately his ability had not evolved enough to kick the addiction, but was more than enough to keep him alive no matter how much they overdosed him with the addictive substance. Time was nothing but a concept to the boy as he was thoroughly "used" by those around him. It was quite some time before he was found but some could say it was too late, his mind had already snapped somewhere along the way.
According to what he was told, the men who had kidnapped him were all killed by his adoptive father who soon after lost his job for reckless endangerment and going against the police code. With neither of his parents being able to function, blaming themselves for the incident, Daniel was sent to an addiction center to help get over his addictions. The boy spent what felt like an eternity in the friendly asylum before his regenerative ability finally grew to the point where his body could fight off drugs and alcohol. Seeing the practically overnight transformation from Dan, he was promptly released on probation before being sent to a nearby boarding school for his high school life.
Although he made a few friends during his time in school, Dan could be called too mentally mature for his peers. Constantly feeling an empty feeling in his soul unless he was doing "pleasurable activities". Of course he made no attempt to force others, not wanting anyone to experience what he had. Somewhere along the lines he'd become obsessed with staying attractive, perhaps it was a side effect of spending so much time "pleasing" strangers. Thus his outlook on others warped to only looking at things on the surface and judging others for their beauty. Years passed with a mixture of love, sexual needs and perhaps even finding someone who meant something more to him than just a friend with benefits. But as all things, his time in high school came to an end and he moved on. He has not made contact with his parents since his initial release from them and has no plans to do so any time soon, moving far north to escape from things that reminded him of such a blurred and conflicting past.
Strengths
✓ Mentally Fortified - Due to his past transgressions, Dan has a very strong mental fortification and does not mentally break from many things. Perhaps his mind is already broken in a sense.
✓ Dulled Physical Pain - Thanks to his ability and past he has a very high tolerance for physical pain.
✓ Silver Tongue - Although his tongue has many uses one of his most frequent uses comes from being seductive and alluring with his words.
✓ Confident - Unlike what one would initially think if they knew his past, Dan is quite confident and outgoing.
Weaknesses
✗ Thick-Headed - He really is still too trusting for his own good. Perhaps its because his mind isn't all in the right place.
✗ Attention Span - Daniel gets bored far too easily.
✗ Self-Appearance - He has to be pretty! He isn't ashamed to say he owns a make-up kit!
✗ Personal Space - If he isn't told no, Dan might get a little to close for comfort.
