With hands over her eyes Joel carefully guided his wife in the right direction.
"No peaking. You'll ruin the surprise. Its just a little farther".
When the two arrived at the destination he removed his hands revealing a lovely little store front. Hanging above it was a painted wooden sign Jo & Rosie's Bakery.
"The sale went through, the place is ours! Mayor said we can move in tomorrow."
Joel grinned admiring his handy work with the new sign. He had always been good with his hands, be that crafting wood or kneading dough.
"It even has the display window in the front so everyone can see how talented you are"
The two were quite the team when it came to baked goods, though Joel would always argue his wife was the genius behind it all. The loving couple decided to go all in on a dream and it looks like it was going to pay off. Having grown up on a wheat farm, making bread was second nature to Joel but his wife on the otherhand was gifted. You hadn't lived till you had tasted one of her pies.
"Well. Whatcha think Rosebud?"
Joel gently wrapped his arms around his wives waist resting his head on hers.
