Ever since he started dating Promise, his game creating qualities went up. It was a nice feeling, really. To be able to actually experience romance and apply it to his work. And although dating the grimm hybrid had simply been research for his eroge game development, there had been... a change. An evolution. Gram would have said that even trained spectrefoxes found fun in their jobs. That love and work could go hand in hand.
But did Marique actually love Promise? It was hard to say. Promise still saw him as Riter... it wasn't right to fall in love with someone who loved someone else. Riter wasn't him. Riter was a fictional persona. But Promise only saw Riter.
Still... Marique felt selfish. He didn't want to risk losing Promise. He was addicted to the attention. And so, he was planning on approaching the male. About stones. Naturally, the justification would be that it was for his eroge games. A good ending had a happy ever after. Sometimes with kids. And he needed to experience such a feeling.
Such a thing would be wrong to do, would it? Marique felt nervous and unsure. But he was desperate, desperate for a reason to keep Promise by his side. And desperation led to irrationally.
Desperate enough to not even consider the consequences of awakening stones at such a time.
