You have a near miss that almost kills you (maybe you almost got hit by a car, the plane you were supposed to go on ended up crashing, you narrowly dodged a falling piano, etc) and you're thanking your lucky stars that you're alive...until you realize that no matter who you talk to, no one responds to you. Strangers don't hear you on the street, friends don't return texts or calls and no one answers the door when you knock. It's almost like you're a ghost….for the next twenty-four hours, you appear invisible to every other person on the planet but then suddenly, out of the blue, it's like nothing has changed and none of your friends know what you're talking about when you explain the odd phenomenon. Was it all a dream?

Dria jumped away from the electrical circuit board just as she heard it starting to crackle. It was just in the nick of time too, for a large bolt of electricity surged through the circuit board. It lashed out towards her, narrowly missing her and striking the bookshelf beside her. It exploded into fire. She quickly found a fire extinguisher and sprayed the fire out and then sprayed the electrical circuit board. Just to be certain, she found the nearest phone and dialed 911. “Emergency services,” Came the voice on the other end. “What is the nature of your emergency and your address?” “Hi, my address is the Library on tenth street and I’d to report an electrical fire. I think I may have gotten it out with the fire exting-” “Hello? Hello? Is someone there? What is the nature of your emergency?” Dria repeated her words, loudly and clearly- but the emergency worker did not hear her again and the line went dead. Puzzled, Dria walked out to the rest of the library, where everyone was confused about why the power had gone out. Dria walked up to the librarian, and whispered, “Ma’am, there was a fire in the electrical unit. I put it out, but there is something wrong with the phones as well.” The woman did not respond. “Ma’am?” The woman ignored her and walked away, handing out flashlights. Dria tried some others as well, but all ignored. Finally, she pulled out her phone and called Drew. She must have called him 30 times that day, but he did not pick up. She texted as well. But he did not return any of them. She tried Deme, Dani, Rini Mom, Dad, and Aunt Dia, but no one answered. Then she pulled out her senshi phone and called everyone she knew. Not one person answered. She attempted to send out a Senshi Distress Call- but for the first time ever, she noticed that the connection bars were far too low for anyone to receive it. So now, she wondered if she were dead. She wandered home and found her way into bed and there she slept til morning. Morning, where she was jumped by Drew and Dani! “Hallweeeennnnnnnnnnn!” screamed Dani. “Is coming! What are we going to do this Halloween, Dria?” “Did you just talk to me?” “’Course I did. Why wouldn’t I? You’re my sister!” Drew and Dani gave Dria a weird look. “Dria are you feeling okay?” Drew asked. When Dria explained about her day yesterday, Drew and Dani looked at her like she had lost her mind. “We all went to school yesterday, Dria. There no fire at the library. In fact, there is no library on tenth street. Is this all some Halloween prank? Maybe it was a dream.” Drew and Dani looked at her weird again, and then went down to breakfast. Dria wondered briefly if they were playing a Halloween joke on her. Maybe it had been a dream, like Drew had said. She shrugged and got up and went down to breakfast, leaving the jacket she wore yesterday across the chair. It had a small, black electrical burn across the sleeve.
