โ There are 2 separate avatar contests. Everyone can put one entry into each contest (thatโs 2 overall).
โThe deadline for all entries is Saturday, Nov. 3rdSunday, Nov 4th Tuesday, Nov 6th at 11:59pm PDT PST.
โFill out an entry form and post it in this thread to enter. You can find the entry form right under the description for each contest.
โHuman and Paw avatars are welcome. All entries will be judged as one group.
โ There are no price restrictions because everyone has the opportunity to use any items, even if they don't own those items.
โYou may use your own items, the Dress Up search (all Gaia) or Avatar Builder. Fun extra: If you use the "all Gaia" search in Dress Up, click this link to see a regular-sized image of your creation. Click save on that image to upload. This is not required.
โPlease save your own entries and include the link in the form. If you can't save your avatar, let me know and we can work it out.
โ There are two contests, but entrants can only win once. As in, if someone wins any place in the Trick or Treat contest, they can't place in the Up the Rabbit Hole contest.
โ Prizes are listed in the Winners post (#5). There might be honorable mention prizes, depending on participation.
... Um, never mind that above. It's Halloween in Wonderland! Become any character from Alice in Wonderland (or a character that could belong in Wonderland) and go trick-or-treating! What would they wear? How does your character ask for candy? ...Is it candy? To be clear, you're not just dressing up as the character; you are the character as they would go Trick-or-Treating. You may use characters from the books/movies or create a character of your own that would fit into the world. If your character wears some sort of mask or cape as a Halloween costume, try to also keep elements of your character. Here's an example that won't pass: wearing a full coverage ghost sheet and then stating that Alice is underneath it. How would I know it's Alice and not the Mad Hatter or the Queen of Hearts under that sheet?

the white rabbit rushes through the empty neighborhood, late once again--was the sun supposed to be up during trick or treating?! oh goodness, oh dear. though she took a form more familiar to a certain cheshire for the spirit of halloween, she still couldn't stop her time-forgetting tendencies.
Why it's the Queen of Hearts, still looking to find Alice, it's Halloween, and she wants to have another cricket game, knock some heads off! she misses her little Alice in Wonderland, *evil grin!* Maybe they could go trick or treating xd
Alice is trick or treating the tricky Caterpillar. She's dressed as the White Rabbit who serves the Queen of Hearts (so the ears...).
I'm the caterpillar's rich and benevolent cousin in Alice in Wonderland.

It's a me Luigi... hrmm. I went down a pipe and some how ended up in this Wonderland. but it's okay! I hear there's candy. I just hope there are no ghosts around.
*It seems as if the Wonderlanders mixed up Alice's original saying as the word spread: Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat. If you don't, I don't care. I'll pull down your underwear!
In other words, there's nothingAlice in Wonderland about this contest. Dress up as a classic, generic Halloween monster. Examples of "monsters" that fit the bill: vampire, werewolf, witch, frankenstein, ghost, mummy, zombie, skeleton, etc. There's no trick. It really is just a simple dress up contest. c:

This isn't exactly a traditional halloween witch, rather it's one that does potions all year round! The pointy hat is so last century... Right now she was looking for mushrooms and found some in an old forest graveyard!

A beautiful girl and her sleek black dog who was her loyal companion went swimming in the sea. They were both bitten to death by the same great white shark and were buried next to each other. When a strange chemical was accidentally released near the cemetery, it caused the dead who were buried in the cemetery to come back to life as zombies. The girl became a zombie girl and her dog joined her as a zombie dog.
Boil boil witchly trouble! Eye of bat, black cat's tail, and some candy corn to make it sweet to eat!
