Hello there,
Welcome to the world of Poke'balam!

To celebrate the upcoming release of Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Eevee, we will be running a multitude of events up to the release date of the games! That should hold all you poke'nerds over, right? Even if you aren't a fan of the games, there's bound to be something that catches your eye. Our artist have really hit the ground running and had a lot of fun with these designs.

So this event will be broken up into three main events:

Version-Exclusive games and events!
Just like the games- there are two versions you can pick. You will need to sign up here if you want to participate in Let's Go! Pikachu or here if you want to participate in Let's Go! Eevee.

Those in Let's Go! Eevee can only participate in the games/events in the Let's Go Eevee subforum- likewise for Let's Go! Pikachu. That's right- we have our own version of game exclusives! We don't yet know what pokemon will be exclusive to what version- so it will be completely random. Throw the dice- you never know which game may feature one of your favorites!

Pokemon in these events will be limited to Gen1 and Alolan forms of Kanto Pokemon!

Welcome to Lavender Town
Yup, we're getting spoopy in here! Lavender town will be open to both teams and will begin closer to Halloween. What do you find in Lavender Town? Well a plethora of ghost-types, dark-types, and a handful of other spooky Pokemon.

Open Games!
These games are open for anyone and everyone! They'll be pretty random. There may be in-thread games, in guild threads, perhaps even a few discord exclusives! Keep sharp, trainers.

FAQ ||
question Can we change teams after we've signed up for one?
arrow Nope! You get one shot, so make it count! You can join later, but you risk sitting out in the opening games.

question Can we trade our Poke'balam?
arrow Unfortunately, because this can get pretty messy, we're going to have to say no. You can, however, pair up Poke'balam! Remember- cosplay breedings can result in cosplay babies. So if two pokemon have babies, and they're a "canon" pair (IE- they can reproduce in the games/are in the same "egg group"-) there is a chance that they can breed out the same kind of pokemon- with their own unique twist. Ex- if you breed two pikachus there's a chance you can get a pichu cosplay!

question WAIT. There's already a cosplay of ________!!!!
arrow Yup. Remember- we allow multiples. These cosplays have been given their own unique twists so they're set apart from anything currently existing. Notice how some of the marks aren't strictly solid stripes or spots- we've added a bit of a flair, edits, and played around with the designs.

question So... what if I post in one thread, delete my post, and post in the other? I deleted my evidence- I'm so clever! 8D
arrow This is a tactic worthy of Team Rocket! ...and if you are caught trying it, you will be unable to participate in any of the Poke'balam events this year.
