Prompt 5 A new temporary co-op shop called the Boo-tique has opened up for the holiday season. Folks from all around the city are selling neat odds and ends to celebrate the spooktacular parties and events to come at the end of the month. While you’re trying on one of the many costumes for sale, you leave the dressing room and find yourself engulfed in a world associated with whatever costume you put on. You can't go far--only a few feet in any direction, as if you hit an invisible wall. There is no person there, no animals, but a very vivid sight. After a few moments, you blink once and it's all gone--you've returned to the mothball-smelling, dusty dressing room you’d originally entered. The costume you’d put on has no price tag and if you approach a staff member to purchase or question it, they take it away and apologize -- it shouldn’t have been out on the floor to begin with. What… exactly happened?
"Oooh, we'll try this one on too, I bet we could find the perfect little prince outfit for you, my handsome little man."
Yet another costume made it onto the figurative pile that Priscilla Stratford carried in her arms, rose colored eyes roaming across the racks of clothing in search of the perfect outfit for this year's festivities. Her arms were getting bogged down, already holding four other choices but Prissy was no weakling when it came to shopping - fashion came at a price and her arms had years of experience holding onto heavy, multiple shopping bags, preparing her for moments just like this one.
Theodore had been dragged along for the ride, nestled in her oversized purse designed just for him to ride inside, the perfect little treat to take along on all of her excursions through Destiny City. Wherever she went, he was taken along with -- she scoffed at the idea that her precious little candy king would be forbidden to enter any shop that she was welcomed in.
What an absurd concept - banning pets. Hmph!
Humming to herself, Prissy settled on five pieces before she finally made her way towards the older looking dressing rooms in the back of the store. The little temporary boutique had left a lot to be desired in terms of looks but Prissy knew that sometimes, sometimes, co-ops had some of the neatest treasures to find.
Seeing an open door, she immediately snagged it. It didn't matter if someone had been using it - they were no longer in the room so therefore, it was free game.
Setting the hangers on the hook and her purse on the bench, she started carefully perusing through her choices as she offered each one for her Mauvian's inspection. Price tags were ignored - the cost was never an issue, as far as she was concerned. Daddy or Chase would happily (and obliviously) pay for whatever she wanted, so why should she have to worry about some petty issue like pricing?
"Which should I try on first, d'you think? Princess? Pirate Princess? Fairy Princess? Vampire Princess?"
It seemed she had a particular theme when it came to her costume decision making, this year.

When Miss Prissy desired to go out and take him with her, Theodore was an eager participant. Things had been a little...weird after they'd discovered that he had another form, but things had mostly settled back to how they ought to be.
Today he was a purse cat, toted along as his mistress busied herself with shopping and preparing for the upcoming holiday. He had no plans for a costume himself, though he suspected his hat would be swapped for the evening to match whatever outfit his perfect owner decided upon.
His little nose wrinkled as he thought about her options, peering over the costumes with his tail flicking this way and that. "Fairy Princess, Miss Prissy," he declared, looking up at her with as much of a grin as a cat could manage.

"Fairy Princess it is, then," she conceded, manicured nails shifting to pull out the pink and white gown, complete with a set of sparkly, over the top wings.
The dress itself was fairly short but Prissy assumed a pair of equally sparkly stockings could serve as a distraction instead of skin (after all, she wasn't a slut) while the pink dress itself would serve as a lovely accent to her body's naturally delightful shape.
Plus, it gave her an excuse to prance around as a princess - a magical one, at that.
Without giving it a second thought, she tugged her blouse up and over her head, depositing it next to her purse as she reached for the dress and yanked it from the hanger.
"We could get you a pair of wings too, you know," she offered, fairly certain the cat would be opposed to donning anything too feminine. "Or you could be the handsome fairy prince charming~"
The dress was tugged over her head, the sleeveless top settling nicely over her curves. "Whatever you want, cutie. I wouldn't dare want to leave you out of anything."
.... especially since the last time she did, it had taken far too long to reconcile with her Guardian cat.

Theodore's pink eyes went wide when his mistress started stripping before him and, because he was a gentleman, the mauvian turned around, making sure to look at the dressing room walls instead of Miss Prissy's naked form. His ears however remained upright and alert, as to not miss anything the woman was saying.
Once convinced that she was appropriately dressed, Theodore turned to face her, his fluffy tail curling around his body.
"You look lovely Miss Prissy," he informed her, though he was certain she already knew. His tail swished. "A fairy prince charming to match the fairy princess?" He suggested.

If Prissy had been concerned about what her feline could or couldn't see while she was changing, she didn't vocalize it. Instead, she was caught up in smoothing out the sparkly overlaying fabric on top of the dress and adjusting the equally sparkly wings on her back. Lips pursed as her breasts were pushed up and her neckline spread out -- the costume was clearly not meant for someone of her body shape; while the pink was pretty in color, it didn't flatter her in just the right ways that she liked. Pity.
"That sounds absolutely purrfect to me, darling."
Turning around, she wasted no time in scooping up her loyal companion before turning back towards the shady, unacceptable mirror in the musty, stuffy dressing room.
"I think I saw a better mirror outside - let's take a peek and see if it looks better out there."
She didn't give the Mauvian a chance to argue before she opened the dressing room door, caught up in her own concern that when she stepped foot outside of the room, it took her a few second to realize she was no longer in the quaint little boutique.
In fact, they weren't in a shop at all.
There was a lush forest surrounding them, decorated with miles and miles of flowers. Vines hung nearby, branches loomed overhead and everywhere her rose colored eyes wandered, she only saw more and more flowers.
"T-Teddy?"

Being scooped up in Miss Prissy's arms always served to earn a purr from her loyal companion, who's paws rested daintily over her arm. She hadn't given him time to protest and he wouldn't have either because who was he to deny the woman anything?
He was but her humble, faithful guardian at the end of the day and where she went, he followed dutifully.
Which apparently meant that when she exited the dressing room and they found themselves in a forest, he went with. Immediately his ears flattened against his head and he squinted at their surroundings.
"I'm here Miss Prissy," he assured her, butting her head against her chest and then licking her wrist so that there were no doubts about it.
"Can--Can we go back?"

Her grip on the small feline tightened, the startled change of scenery immediately making her more anxious and nervous. She'd almost forgotten that she was clutching tightly to the small, faithful Guardian when she'd felt the sudden reminder in the form of affectionate kisses against her skin, small laps from a cat who was trying to keep her calm.
Right. Calm.
She was an Eternal Senshi, she could handle weird things. Even if those weird things included leaving a dressing room and finding herself in an entirely different world.
"I think that would be best... yes."
Her voice wavered slightly but her footing was strong as the fairy princess backtracked, refusing to allow her gaze to leave the strange forest until the dressing room's door closed firmly in front of them.
Another test of the door handle opened to reveal... the rest of the boutique. Ordinary, regular people milling around the various costumes and outfits on the racks.
Frowning, Prissy closed the door for a second time and moved to set the small cat down next to her purse as she looked at him suspiciously. Had they... no. They both couldn't have imagined it, could they? He'd seen it, just as much as she had... hadn't he?
Shaking her head, Prissy made quick work of peeling out of the sparkly dress and donning on her original clothing, not even bothering to fluff her hair properly after pulling the top on. The incident had spooked her and she wanted nothing more than to leave this weird place before something else happened to the both of them.
"I think we'll look for costumes elsewhere this year, Teddy," she said quietly, hopping on one foot as she slid one heel back on her foot and then the other. "I'm not...terribly pleased with the results from this shop."

Miss Prissy was distressed so Theodore was doing the very best he could to comfort her and sooth her nerves. Soon enough they were out of the strange place and back in the more comfortable and familiar setting of the dressing room.
Once set down he padded over to her purse and climbed into it, because that was where he sat when she toted him around with her.
"There will be something better elsewhere," Theodore agreed, butting his head against her hand when she collected her purse.
They were off to any other boutique besides this one immediately.
