Independent to her core, Thrush has relied and will probably only ever rely on herself fully. It's not that she is pessimistic nor distrusting, she is instead realistic to her experiences with others. Despite having been a loner for many moons, the she-cat knows how to be sociable and has no issues with speaking to other cats. In fact, she prefers interactions with others and deep inside, she craves the idea of living with at least one other cat. Even more-so, she desires kits at some point in her life, hopefully those of her very own, but she's so loving to kits that she will adopt any kit she meets. Though Thrush has a natural leadership skill, she cares not for power and instead uses her natural skill to drive others as well as herself to success. She will never back away from a friendly opportunity to a higher status, but otherwise, she will not ever ask for promotions. It's just not in her nature to assume full leadership on her own as she prefers others to decide and take a vote of sorts.
Something about this she-cat can eventually be seen as "off", however. Under her very thick shell of independence and ego, there are fears like any other. She fears failure more than anything, whether it be failing herself and/or others. She also does not speak of her history much, and would rather tell anyone, even close friends, that she would rather not speak of her past. What she fears most about her past is abandonment as well as misunderstanding, so to Thrush, her past is better left unsaid.
Rogue parents aren't of good interest to anyone, Thrush has realized, despite it not being her choice who her parents were. Born without luck, the kit began life in a livelihood filled with mental instability and harsh beginnings. Her mother, Crow, was no better than the rogue leader with relentless, terrible actions done to outsiders. Her father, Swift, though elderly, was their most avid hunter. Thrush was to be taught to be a hunter just like her father, and not only for prey, but for tracking their enemies, as well. One late night, only a quarter-moon since Thrush had began eating solids, Swift had taken her for what he convinced her to be a look around their territory, which was what she had been begging for a long time. Instead, her father had taken her far, far off from the path of the rogues, using his many tactics and knowledge of keeping the both of them very hard to track down. It took a while for little Thrush to understand just what was going on and why her father had said they had to escape from home. She didn't believe him nor what he had to say about mother until he'd told her stories of what he and Crow have had to do under the paws of their leader. Finally, she accepted it, but not without hardship and turmoil. It would take her a long time to get over this whole ordeal.
Before Thrush could become twelve moons old, Swift had deteriorated quickly until he passed away peacefully one night. Thrush grieved over the loss of her father, now officially alone in this world, but not without his expertise in hunting and combat.
Under that feminine guise lies plenty of muscle and athletic skills that will let you know she won't be going down easy any time soon. Despite her being quite healthy in this way, she lacks any skill whatsoever with swimming, and doesn't seem to like water at all, although she does enjoy eating fish. The muscle on her also can slow her down and gives her difficulty in being able to sprint for a longer period. Also, do not ever bother asking her to do anything medical-wise unless she is the only cat available to do so, as she has no idea how to associate with outside sources and healing. For instance, if you ask her to stop the bleeding with some cobwebs, she will grab all of them and try stuffing it onto the patient. All in all, it's really not worth it to ask her to do anything with medicine other than possibly asking her to gather resources.
Leadership is just something that Thrush is naturally attuned to and is especially good with kits and apprentices. For adults, however, the she-cat seems to be quite impatient on them, feeling as though they should already know the things that she knows, which to her, are "basic skills" such as hunting and tracking.
