We all realize Azula's guards have more feminine outfits. But did you notice how orange they are?  (image courtesy of Firebender.com)They're so orange, they look like furnaces. Yuck.

Maybe a bright red,
but hardly orange.

Hm... I don't have a preference. I'm not quite so sure about the "nimble" comment, though. All the fire nation uniforms have so much armor I don't know how they move at all.
Unrelated comment: That pic makes Azula look fat... with which I am just fine.

im not sure about them looking feminine, but, they're definantly cool. They look more modern, which is a good thing... *i especially like the 3 eye thing*

Maybe the colors and styles differ with the person they are comanded by or they might be of different rank.
