Mads being in Sora's life had increased the joy and quality about a millionfold. Now, the days weren't about what MIGHT happen, but what would happen. When breakfast was, when it was time for school, when it was time for the kid to get home, when it was time for dinner, when it was time to sit and read a bedtime story.

Routine had overtaken the small apartment, enough for Sora to have gotten a decent job- at a local daycare, no less!- and had at least tripled their income! Sora found a new place for the two of them, and before either of them knew what was going on, they had moved into a modest house. Not too close to the city, not too deep into nothing. It was a step until the next move.

Sora had chosen the house for a reason. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a decently spacious kitchen, and a really nice living room, it was all on one floor. The only steps to be seen were the ones on the porch, leading down from the small deck to the backyard. That itself was decently sized, enough for a small turtle-shaped sandbox, a two-seater swingset, and a small garden that had already begin to produce strawberry bush sprouts. While it wasn't the biggest home, it was now theirs.

"Sora-pa?" Mads asked at some point while doing his homework. Sora, looking over their book they'd been pouring over, smiled at the block castle the small hybrid had been working on. It almost looked like it was time to upgrade them to legos.

"Yeah? What's up?" Sora answered, lowering the book.

"I'm kinda bored..." Mads admitted, looking down at the yellow block in his hand.

"Oh? Do you wanna go play a video game instead?" Sora offered, already getting up to go and get the gaming console.

"...No..."

"...No?" Sora tilted their head to one side curiously.

"...Can I have a sister? Or...or a brother?" Mads asked, eyes wide.

....Well. What Mads wanted, Mads would get. And, honestly? Mads was already growing. Sora missed the sounds of a new baby, and really, really wanted to have another. It was just a happy coincidence that Mads wants a new sibling. A sister, apparently. Hopefully that part wasn't set in stone.

But, In the days that followed, Sora would trawl imbuing sites, visit stone banks and even go on a date with the hopes of the question popping up! They wanted an imbue with someone who might care a little more than Mads' other parent this time.

They would find the perfect parent.
