He's a rather peculiar looking clown, complete with cliche red nose and squeaky shoes. No matter how many balloon animals he makes or tricks he tries to play, no one seems to pay him any attention. You happen to make eye contact with him and unfortunately, it seems to excite the fellow to have finally won over someone's attention. You manage to cleverly excuse yourself from the situation but nearly everywhere you go after that point, the strange clown is following you. The more you try to ignore him or brush him aside, the angrier he seems to get - and it's a little creepy, just how menacing he looks with that bright red smile gets turned upside down. Even as you manage to make your way to your or your friend's home, you can't help but notice the familiar, disturbing honks of a bicycle horn or the squeaks of oversized shoes following you... even up onto the front porch steps.

It had been supposed to be a quiet afternoon and so Ashley wasn't quite sure how it had come to her walking briskly down the sidewalk as she tried to outwalk a man who clearly had issues, but here she was doing exactly just that.
It had started as she made her way over to her friend's house with the intention of spending some time doing some studying, because after the wholemess with the so-called urgent care clinic Ashley had thought herself past overdue a quiet day—
And yes maybe she had noticed the sad-looking man dressed up in the clown outfit that had been standing at the street corner as she stood at the street corner and waited for the lights to change - but dammit it hadn't been an invitation for the creep to take it upon himself to invite himself over to give her a balloon animal demonstration nor was it an invitation for him to follow her as he'd been doing ever since.
In fact it had reached a point where Ashley was of a mind to lure the creep into a secluded alley and let Reinerite deal with him - because while she didn't tend to take starseeds from civilians, she was almost at a point where she was willing to make an exception...Sleet Tempest Snape Hope this works as start #1 (Liam and Ashley) Sleet

Liam was, as usual at this time of day, heading back to the orphanage after class. He was lucky that the state covered his university costs, he was also lucky that it was a local university and nothing special..and expensive. It was a good thing for him, it meant it was all covered, but it meant he had a lot of class work now and that had him running from university to the orphanage where he'd try and finish homework while helping out around the place. It was hard, harder than it had been while a high school student.
As he headed back home, shifting the weight of his bag, the blond lifted his gaze from the ground. He wasn't expecting to see a familiar blue haired female, or that she would be walking rather quickly and was acting as if she was being followed. Well...that was odd. Deciding to follow, for a bit, he didn't know why but he did wonder if she was ok...

Ashley told herself, as she had and not for the first time, to just ignore the creep - but the continuing squeak-squeak as oversized shoes continued to tramp after her was pretty hard to ignore, especially punctuated as it was by the occasional honk of a bicycle horn.
She managed to walk a little further before the squeaking got to her and she paused and turned around, lips tilted up in a fake smile that did not reach her eyes.
The clown-creep paused, red painted lips smiling widely as he honked the bicycle horn at her and Ashley shook her head, as she had done earlier "Look, I've already told you that I don't have time to watch your show" she said coolly "But I'm sure that if you go back to your corner then–"
Her voice trailed off as the smile turned to a frown, the gestures with the bicycle horn went from hopeful looking to something that seemed a little more menacing.
The smile dropped from her lips "It's still a no," and for a moment she contemplated powering up there and then.
But–
But it was too open, too much of a chance that someone - the wrong someone would see.
She wasn't aware of the blond - her attention for the moment on the clown-creep.

Was she...talking to herself? Or what was going on? She certainly seemed to be talking to herself, as nothing was in front of her but open air.
Deciding to approach the female, and make sure she was alright, the blond made his way towards her slowly. Maybe she was suffering, somehow, after the whole clinic thing? He was sure she'd been there, that blue hair did stand out. Reaching out, hesitantly, he settled a hand on her arm. "Are you ok?" Oh he really hoped she didn't hit him, or something else, as he was sure he might just surprise her badly. But someone needed to see if she was ok, and no one else seemed to be doing so. Some people giving looks and others just flat out ignoring her.

Ashley visibly started as something touched her arm, half-turning away from the clown, only to realise that it had been a someone rather than a something.
For a moment grey eyes looked at the blond startled, but then it was replaced with the cool expression that was her more normal expression, a slight frown on her lips because he seemed somewhat familiar although she couldn't quite place why–
And the annoying clown-creep that was still honking for attention wasn't particularly helping.
"Yes I'm..." she started, her voice trailing off as her memory picked that particular moment to helpfully supply why the blond seemed so familiar "You were at that sorry excuse for a medical facility."
He'd been there when the 'nurse' had attacked them but she had lost track of him after that - him and all the other people that had been in the room with her.
There was more wild gesturing coming from the direction of the clown and he was still honking the stupid horn, but the blond didn't seem to notice, even when the creep stomped a squeaky shoe.
Ashley reminded herself once again that she couldn't just power up - it even less feasible with the blond there - even though she couldn't help but think that she'd be doing everyone a favour if she just yanked the creep's starseed.

"Yeah...I saw you and you seemed like you were being followed..." Never mind the talking to herself bit, at least it seemed that way to him. But whatever was going on it was something and he was willing to put himself out there and be, sort of, social in order to perhaps help.
"People have been giving you odd looks....like you're talking to yourself." He spoke softly, not wanting to offend her. He wanted to help after all, however that was possible he wasn't sure just yet. "Is something wrong?" He might as well out right ask, finally, and see what was going on and if he could help. He couldn't exactly power up, not out here, but if he had to maybe he could...somehow.

"I am being followed" Ashley frowned slightly, "By a clown that doesn't understand the meaning of the word no."
She lifted a hand to gesture towards where the clown in question was in the process of once again stamping an oversized shoe on the sidewalk but something about what the blond said gave her pause.
Odd looks? Grey eyes looked over at a woman out walking a dog, noting the way that the other appeared to be studiously avoiding her gaze and then at a businessman who walked briskly past where the clown was gesticulating wildly with the horn, before glancing back towards the blond as she asked.
"You can see the clown, right?"
Because she couldn't be the only one seeing the clown right?

"Clown?" He questioned her before shaking his head slowly. "No...no clown. There is no clown here." He added slowly, wondering if she was ok. What could be making her see a clown when there was none? He knew about magic, how could he not? But could magic somehow be behind this?
"That's why they are all looking at you strange...." That explained it, to her of course, but now he knew why she was acting odd as well. She was seeing something no one else was...and that wasn't normally considered a good thing. "Are you feeling ok?" He questioned her. Maybe it wasn't magic and she was coming down with something? Or some medication...some did have hallucinations as possible side effects right? He was sure he'd seen, and heard, that before.
"If you need to sit down you should."
litian I'd love to finish this rp. Not sure how i wanna end it though, so if you got ideas. Wouldn't mind her finding out he's powered but whatever is cool with me.

Ashley's frown deepened at the blond's words, although it wasn't directed at the blond, her grey eyes glancing back towards the clown who had gone back to aggressively honking the horn - because the clown was clearly there.
She could see him there - much as she really, really wished that he would just go away.
But.. But, if she was the only one who was actually seeing Mr Really Needs to Get a Clue - and just go away already, then it would explain why no one else had made even a token attempt to try and intervene - well at least outside of the fact that this was Destiny City and people were probably used to 'unusual' things happening.
Maybe she was seeing the clown due to the fact that she was not only Ashley, but also Reinerite, maybe it was some strange...
She realised that the blond was still speaking to her, shaking her head slightly at his suggestion that she sit down if she needed to "No it's all right, I'm okay" although the distracted tone in her voice mayhaps contradicted the words.
She managed a small smile that didn't reach her eyes as she added "In fact I think I may just head home."
It wasn't a lie, at least not completely, because her apartment was close by - although Ashley really didn't have any intention of going there - at least not immediately.
"Sorry to have troubled you and thank you again" Ashley turned, gave a last glance towards the clown and started walking again - there was an alleyway close by to the apartment which she often made use of to power up which she thought would suit nicely.
Because if the clown really was due to some sort of strange and very much unwelcome magic then that was really more Reinerite's domain.

Watching her walk off, concerned for her, he was sure something magical was going on. Normally it was nothing he'd get involved in, it wasn't his sort of thing, but hadn't she already dealt with enough given the clinic issue not that long ago? Maybe that was why, or just wanting to handle something magical, he followed after her at a safe distance.
If whatever was following her, something he couldn't see, continued he would follow her home and power up and handle it. He didn't think it was anything from his own faction, but he was terribly clueless about his own faction, but maybe some monster from another side? Maybe it was from his own, he really didn't know. He just knew it needed to be handled...before it hurt her or others.litian Short but to the point me thinks.

The clown followed her - of course the clown followed her–
Ashley had been half-expecting it given that he hadn't exactly taken the many hints, although she was doing her best to ignore the increasingly loud squeaks and honking coming from the other's direction - because she had come to the decision to just let Reinerite deal with him.
Permanently– And whilst Reinerite didn't often take starseeds from civilians, there were always.. Exceptions - and the clown creep that couldn't seem to take a hint had reached the point of becoming an exception - he just didn't know it yet.
But whilst Ashley hadn't been particularly surprised about the clown following her, she wasn't aware of the fact that the blond had decided to do the same.
In part - a large part - it was because said clown, but it was in part because she hadn't exactly asked the other to follow her either and there was nothing in their exchange to suggest that she was hinting at it - well at least not to her.
The alleyway wasn't far from where she had been speaking to the blond, no more than around fifteen or so minutes and less at a brisk walk, but the yelling and honking made it seem longer and Ashley was relieved when the small alleyway finally came into sight.
A sharp glance from grey eyes suggested that it was empty and the buildings that backed onto it were convenient enough to not have windows facing the alleyway, making it - well - perfect.
One last sharp glance and Ashley slowed and shifted, the smart coat dress and spiked shoes of Reinerite replacing the softer autumn garb that she had been wearing as Ashley.
Reinerite's lips tilted up in a smile that didn't meet her eyes as she turned to face the clown.
"I think it's time to put an end to this - don't you think?" She didn't wait for an answer, instead taking a step forwards towards the irritating pest as she continued "Unfortunately for you, it'll be permanent."
Her cool voice didn't sound particularly sorry.Sleet Tempest Snape apologies for the long delay on this one, hope this works for what we discussed, but lmk if not and I'll tweak

Oh! Ok, he wasn't expecting that. He'd been following her, perhaps a bit too closely when she ducked into the alleyway, but he saw what he was sure he wasn't meant to. He knew it wasn't a good thing to see, and perhaps even dangerous to his health, so he did the only thing he could. He pulled out the henshin pen he carried on his person. It wasn't that he used it often, it was a rare thing, but he knew to keep it on himself for safety reasons...and to keep it from curious children at the orphanage.
"I don't see anything...but perhaps if I power up as well?" He called out towards the changed figure ahead of him. "I'm assuming it's magical in nature since no one around you has seen what you are seeing." He was offering to help, as much as he could, in order to keep himself safe at this point. It was still about helping her, and removing whatever the threat was, but he wanted to keep himself safe now also. A new concept for him really.
"Want the help?" If not that was fine, if so he'd help. He was going to leave it up to her since she had some power to her and likely had seen enough fights - more than he had. litian Let me know if this works.

Whilst Reinerite didn't often take civilian starseeds, she had already decided to make an exception in the clown's case, her spiked shoes quiet on the ground as she started to calmly close the distance between herself and the clown with stalking footsteps.
She'd only taken a few footsteps, grey eyes intent on the soon to be ex-annoyance when a voice had suddenly piped up, breaking the silence that had fallen over the alleyway.
Shock caused her footsteps to falter and then finally still, the clown momentarily forgotten - because she had recognised that voice, if only because she had been speaking to the owner of said voice not that long ago–
Or at least Ashley had spoken to the owner of said voice not that long ago.
The stupid horn honked as Reinerite turned towards the source of the voice that had piped up, grey eyes narrowed as she took in the blond that was most definitely not supposed to be there, a blond that was holding.. Something - while offering to power up...
"Maybe" she said coolly, as thoughts tried to piece together just how much the blond had seen and if she needed to do something about him in addition to the clown.
"I could do with some assistance" she said at last, her voice a little stiff.
It was a lie, because Reinerite was perfectly capable of dealing of one clown pest on her own - but it was all she could come up with - and would hopefully keep the other in the alleyway with her–

Seeing as she seemed to want, maybe need, his help he did what came naturally and powered up. The clothing change was not to his liking, he wasn't a fan of the clothing and it was cold given the time of year. But it was all he got so he'd make do and deal.
"Not you're level of power but it'll help." At least he hoped he could help. The idea of a threat out there, wandering around, invisible to some was not something he fancied. It could hurt someone, like himself, without them ever seeing it coming. This wasn't normally something he'd do, he didn't like working with others, but sometimes an exception was needed - like this. He couldn't see the clown and he figured it needed to be dealt with. If he could see where she attacked he could try and help If it wasn't for her he wouldn't know such a thing was creeping about the city either.
"I can't see it so I'm going to aim for what you attack." He'd try his best anyway, no telling if he'd hit anything.
